“This was our first time using Rover and meeting Stefanie. Our kitties who are normally shy with other people took a liking to her really quickly. Stefanie was really thorough in making sure that she had all the information she would need while we were gone, and it was clear from her daily Rover Cards and communication that she really cared about taking great care of our kitties. We will definitely look for Stefanie the next time we need a pet sitter!”

About: I don’t really have any special skills I’m just a pretty basic person with the basic necessities for caring any pet that’s loved and in good hands❣️ I would say I can do part time for my schedule, this app would be more of a side hustle as I’m working two jobs :) I’m totally comfortable with any pet entering into my own home! I have no problem with any unwanted animals I make sure they’re in a secured and well safe environment.

About: I loved animals my whole entire life I basically grow up in a backyard zoo lol with dogs , tortoises, chameleons, iguanas, bunnies, parrots, and ducks. I enjoy taking dogs on walks running with them and just having fun. I am a full time college student trying to make money first time job i heard many good things about rover and so I felt like it would be a good idea to try it out for a first time making some side money by walking dogs and playing with them. How I care for my pets at home is by making sure that they are okay if they have food or water taking them showers messing around with them until they tired themselves out

17. Jasmine H.
“Jasmine has been our pet sitter for several years. We feel comfortable when away from home because we can rely on her. She is very exact in understanding our cats' and dogs' "special needs", takes time to get to know them and they have come to look forward to spending time with her. Jasmine can be counted on to be at our home at the times we specify and is very conscientious about their well-being. If something seems "off" Jasmine contacts us and very carefully goes over what she notices. We wholeheartedly endorse Jasmine to take care of pets.”

About: Please take the time to completely read my profile before contacting me. Thank you! Can I just say I love dogs!!! I have been rescuing pets for quite awhile, and have placed many stray dogs in loving homes, so I've definitely have come across many personalities. I’m the crazy person that hits the breaks, parks my car in the middle of an intersection to rescue that injured dog everyone seems to pass by. I’m the one trying to stop traffic on the freeway to lure that dog that mistakenly walked in the middle of the road or perhaps someone might have dumped. I’ve volunteered at animal shelters and most of my training comes from there. I’m always making donations and have connected with celebrities to find dogs their forever home. Please know that your pup will be in good hands. I'm not a professional trainer, but have been successful in training dogs commands such as sit, lay, roll over, shake, spin, and kiss. I can administer meds, feed, and play with your dog in my large backyard. I have a large back yard where your pups can run wild back and forth. I don’t have any toxic plants or anything that will harm your dog. My house is fenced, so be assured your pup won't escape (unless he/she jumps fences) Sometimes I will include a surprise during your pups stay. **I passed an enhanced background check, not just a basic background check, so you can feel secure with your pups staying with me. If you're not ready to book with me just make sure that when you book someone, the badge displayed on the profile is gold. I would not like to read another horror story about any sitters, this is not to scare you, but to make you wary of anyone you come in contact with. Dogs are awesome and they fill your life with love, loyalty, and plenty of reasons to smile, so you need to always be protective of them.** I will treat your pups as if they are my own and give them so much love!! Most of the time you won’t see behind the scenes but I promise you, your pup will enjoy his/her stay. I will provide them with a huge bed AKA as a human bed, in case they hate crates. However, I won't provide dog food or treats, but have many bowls and toys that they can use. I also have a dog stroller in case your pup hates the leash :) Be prepared to bring your pups food, treats, meds (if any), favorite blanket/toy, and crate (if any). The important thing is that your pup feels safe and comfortable. If your pup is on a special diet, you need me to cook food, or feed by hand please let me know beforehand. I want you to feel comfortable when you drop off your fur baby, so please communicate with me, and let me know what your pup loves, and dislikes. Communication is key! I will be sending as many updates as I can and please forgive me if I don’t due to assignment deadlines but I will be watching your dog close to me at all times. DISCLAIMER: I do not do meet and greets due to the uninsurability in Rovers policy. Rover Guarantee only applies to paid bookings. For more information refer to their website. I apologize in advance for any inconvenience. Why the high boarding fees? Rover deducts a high percentage of the entire booking. Rover Guarantee also charges $250 as a deductible in case anything happens during your pups stay. Many incidents aren’t covered, which leaves the sitter and the owner to accept full liability. If you have any questions, please reach out to Rover, so they can better explain the terms and conditions. I'm currently a student and most of my work is done online, so please be considerate of my time throughout the day. I will be sending as many updates as I can and if you don’t get a text from me I can assure you, your pup is probably laying at my feet or is on my lap being pet. My siblings are here to help as well, so be assured that your pups won't be unattended and will receive lots of belly rubs. I have a fenced yard and can easily crate your dog if that's your style of training. Dogs are allowed on the furniture. Please let me know your dogs routine, so I can follow as well. I usually take them out for a potty break every 2-4 hours. They will get all their exercise in my large backyard. There is always fresh water available in multiple rooms and so many toys they can play with and destroy (with supervision) :D If your pup isn't potty trained, then I will make sure to place pads around the house, and will suggest to get diapers or I can provide them too.
19. Isabella O.
“Isabella is definitely an animal lover. She is patient, loving and demonstrate an understanding of Dog behaviors in particular. She is reliable and will treat your pet as well as she would care for her own. She has her own pets and also volunteers at an animal shelter.”
20. Nayelli H.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs as early as the age of 10. I grew up in my bestfriend’s home who owned 15+ Yorkshire terriers because her mom use to breed and showcase their dogs. I was taught the basics as a kid to care for an animal such as feeding, bathing, cleaning up after, and occasionally grooming. As soon as I turned 18, I finally made the decision to have dogs of my own because I wasn’t allowed to have a pet (besides a fish) due to financial and household conditions. Due to the way I grew up with dogs, I grew an attachment to caring for all kinds of animals which led to my dream of becoming a veterinarian. As I got older, I decided that becoming a veterinary technician is where I felt the most comfortable. I am not a veterinary technician just yet as I am looking forward to taking my VTNE, which is a national exam to become certified and begin my career. I already have clinic experience as it was required when I attended trade school between Jan 2020-June 2021 and I have personal experience from raising my 3 year old beagle and 2 year old Doberman. Pet care fits wherever it’s needed in my schedule as I am currently unemployed even though I still make a small income from instacart but that job is also flexible where I am able to work as I please. I would love to offer the service of caring pets in my own home but unfortunately it is not my home to make that decision. What I am available for is caring for pets at a clients home where I will follow all the directions that client’s provide me with. Of course the pet will require their feeding and bathroom breaks as needed. Mental stimulation and physical activity is very much necessary, optional but necessary especially if the client has a working dog breed. Working breed or not, every pet deserves attention and to be played with, it’s also a very good first step when being introduced to a client’s pet for the first time to develop trust over time.
