“Patricia was great!!! From day one she asked all the right questions, showed up with treats and positive energy to make friends with our dog. It is obvious she is there focused on taking care of our dogs needs. We will be using her in the future. -One very happy pet owner.”

“Athanasia is an amazing find! I am a first time Rover user and was very nervous. Athanasia put both me and my dog Presley at ease at the meet and greet. We booked her and she dropped in on Presley three days on a row -- doing a great job! She is an excellent communicator and coaxed great smiles from him in home and outside on their walks. Athanasia clearly loves dogs and cares for her Rover pets well. I highly recommend Athanasia and will use her again and again!!”

About: 🐾 About Me Hello! I’m a caring, dependable pet lover who now has the wonderful opportunity to dedicate my time to animals full-time. I’ve shared my life with pets for as long as I can remember — from playful puppies to gentle seniors — and they’ve always been a cherished part of my family. Whether your furry friend needs walks, playtime, cuddles, or calm companionship, I treat every pet as if they were my own. I’m patient, attentive, and take the time to understand each animal’s personality and routine. I’m home most of the day, so your pet will get plenty of love and attention while you’re away. My goal is to make sure both you and your pet feel completely comfortable and cared for. Both of my sweetheart dogs have passed away of old age, so your dog would get my full attention, I do not have cats, and I am ready and anxious to be able to care for your wonderful doggy. Pets have always been part of my daily life, so caring for them feels completely natural to me. I’m home most of the time, and I truly enjoy having animals around throughout the day — whether it’s going for a morning walk, giving belly rubs, or relaxing together in the afternoon. I love creating a calm, loving environment where each pet feels comfortable, safe, and cared for like family. Since both of my loving sweetheart, dogs have passed away. I am ready to take care of your puppy like it’s my own. I’m a totally animal lover. Can’t wait to meet your dog. I have a fenced yard, I don’t own any other pets at the moment so your pet will get my undivided attention and he will be safe. He’ll have place to run on the backyard or enjoy a quiet time inside the home if he wants to.

“So thankful for Shawn! We were looking for someone to watch our boy with short notice and Shawn was totally accommodating. About: When it comes to pet care, my experience spans over 20 years of working hands-on with large-breed, reactive dogs and senior dogs. What truly sets me apart from other sitters is my specialized skill set in handling and rehabilitating breeds like German Shepherds, Malinois, Pitbulls, Mastiffs, and Dobermans—breeds that can be challenging for many. My background as a trained dog handler in high-pressure environments, such as airports and stadiums, has equipped me with exceptional confidence and composure, even in demanding situations. In addition to traditional pet sitting, I bring expertise in training puppies, helping them build a solid foundation with cues like “sit,” “stay,” and “come,” as well as addressing common challenges like crate training, house training, and socialization. I also have a deep understanding of the unique needs of senior dogs, providing them with the patience and care they require, whether it's gentle walks, enrichment activities, or ensuring their comfort during daycare or overnight stays. My approach to pet care integrates enrichment and positive reinforcement techniques to keep dogs mentally and physically stimulated. Activities like puzzles, nose work, and structured playtime are part of my regular routine, ensuring that your dog not only receives the best care but also enjoys their time away from home. Additionally, I offer flexibility and personalized options for pet parents, from 30-minute or 1-hour play sessions at your house to full-day daycare or overnight care at my home. During these sessions, I also incorporate obedience training, providing added value and peace of mind that your dog is in capable hands. Whether you're looking for someone to care for a puppy, a reactive dog, or a senior companion, I’m here to offer a trustworthy, tailored, and enriching experience that sets me apart. My dedication to the well-being and happiness of your furry family member is at the heart of everything I do. Pet care is an integral part of my daily and weekly routine. With my focus on large-breed and reactive dogs, my days are thoughtfully structured to provide them with the attention, exercise, and enrichment they need. Typically, my mornings start early with walks or playtime for the dogs in my care, setting a positive tone for their day. I then move on to training sessions, whether at a client's home or my own, incorporating obedience work and enrichment activities like puzzles or nose work. Midday often involves daycare dogs, ensuring they get adequate stimulation and rest while under my supervision. Evenings are reserved for longer walks, wrap-up sessions, or overnight care for those staying with me. I maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate the unique needs of pet parents, whether they require last-minute care or consistent, recurring services. By integrating pet care into every aspect of my routine, I ensure that every dog receives the individualized attention and support they deserve. This dedication reflects my passion for helping dogs thrive and maintaining peace of mind for their families. - 30-minute or 1-hr dog play or walk at your house; some obedience training included during this time or ball time - Day care at my house; obedience and enrichment training (puzzles, nosework, ball time) during this time - Overnight care at my house; obedience and enrichment training (puzzles, nosework, ball time) during this time - 1-hr obedience training only Safety and trust are at the core of everything I do, whether caring for pets in my home or yours. About: Hello, My name is Gary and I have been a pet owner my whole life, and a dog owner for over 20 years. I have also been a sitter for Rover for 8 years now and was a sitter for Dogvacay for 2 years before Rover bought them out. Up until 01/01/2018 I lived with my amazingly sweet pup Clover who had been with me since I rescued her in 2006. We had been together ever since, living with multiple dog, cats and small pets in that time. I learned about Rover by helping a friend take her boarded dogs on hikes and walks, as well as have them over to play with Clover often. Clover since then had been the Ambassador here, showing the new dogs love and enjoying her returning friends. Dogs have become such a huge part of my life now and even with Clover gone I am blessed to have so much love here from all the new furry friends I have made and amazing dogs I continue to meet. Your dog(s) will have full access to our beautiful home where they will be treated like a part of our family! Nala our new mini Labradoodle will keep them company and help show them around the neighborhood. A typical day would consist of playing and relaxing inside, multiple walks through the surrounding neighborhoods and parks, as well as trips to local dog beaches and enclosed dog parks for supervised recreation. Each night the dogs are welcome to sleep on the many comfy provided dog beds we have available! I work from home and will be able to be attentive to your pets needs 24/7 and show them the love and care they need while you are away on business or leisure! Notes: I do not take any aggressive dogs(breed not an issue, just behavior) in to make sure all visitors are safe and comfortable. All dogs will be on a leash when leaving the house or gated yard for walks, please provide one for each dog. I have now been doing full-time pet care for over 10 years. The dogs that are cared for here are my #1 priority each day. I provide 24/7 care for the dogs and treat them as a part of the family here. With my partner also here the dogs are never left alone and always supervised.
About: Throughout my life I have had all kinds of pets, from bunnies to iguanas. I really love caring for animals because they are a part of my family. Currently my family has 2 cats and 2 dogs which I care for and love dearly. I take them on walks and to the beach, i would treat your fur baby as if it were my own. I currently work part time so my availability is pretty open. Since I live with my family if I spend the night taking care of a dog it wouldn’t me an issue because my pets will be taken care of. I’ve also lived in Los Angeles my entire life, and love exploring new dog parks and dog beaches. Whenever I am watching over a clients pet I also make sure to keep an extra careful eye on them because I know that the absence of their own already has them on edge. I just want to be able to give you a safe piece of mind and don’t worry I will send pictures for updates
About: I’ve taken care of family and friends puppies, adult dogs, and cats! I understand that every dog and cat has their own personality and needs, and I take the time to build trust and tailor care to their specific needs. I’m currently working part-time, so I’ll have plenty of time to take care of your friendly doggies and kitty’s! I am available Monday’s & Wednesday all day, Tuesday and Thursday’s all day as well besides 2pm to 3pm :) When I’m caring for pets in their own home, I prioritize keeping them comfortable and stress free by sticking closely to their normal routines. I make sure they’re fed on schedule, get plenty of exercise and attention, and always have fresh water. I take time to play, cuddle, or just hang out, whatever your pet prefers. I also keep the home tidy, respect your space, and provide updates with photos so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and safe. My goal is to make my presence feel seamless and to give your pet the same love and care you would.
About: I became a dog mom at the age of 10. I am patient and caring but overall I believe that the key to it all is having a positive attitude. Dogs can be a human's best friend, which is why I treat them all with lots of love! I love training them and have been a dog sitter for friends and family since the age of 16. I usually dog sit when my friends or family are on vacation and during that time I play with them, dedicate some time to train, groom, and be their companion. And yes, in my free time I'm on youtube watching videos on how to train dogs lol. I currently a full-time college student who spends most of my time at home. This job would be perfect especially since there's a chance I will be taking online classes once again this upcoming semester. The pets would be inside my house most of the time, when they do go outside I will make sure to be with them and keep an eye on them. I have 2 Australian fur friends to keep them company. I do like walking dogs so I will always take them for walks and groom them myself. My house is secured with gates and I can proudly say insure you that no dog has ever gone missing on my part and no dog will ever go missing in my hands.
