“This was the first time I left my two little furry ones with anyone other than my mom, so needless to say, I was quite nervous. A big part of my concern was because one of my dogs does not do well with most humans or other pets besides his brother. Veronica kindly agreed to do a meet-and-greet beforehand to make sure my dogs were comfortable with her and that it was a good fit both ways. By the end of the meeting, the dog I was most worried about had completely warmed up to her and was rolling onto his back so she could rub his belly! I was so thankful knowing they would be comfortable staying with her for the five days I was away. Veronica sent updates and photos, and they looked relaxed, happy, and well cared for in every picture. I truly believe pets can sense when someone genuinely cares for them, and I could see that with Veronica. If they're less adventurous, I can keep them company at your place where they'd feel more at home.
