About: I have always had a love and passion for animals, especially cats and dogs. I don't think I have ever come across a furry friend who I did not like and want to cuddle. I have taken care of some dogs into their senior years and through their rainbow bridge crossing, and will always strive to do what is best for any pet. I am currently in nursing school and am typically free most days after 12PM except on Wednesdays. So please feel free to reach out to me and let's try to schedule a time that works best for you, your pet, and myself! I treat my pets as my own children. I routinely check them for any bumps or lumps anytime I am petting them, I also make sure to see if there are any signs of stress that I can alleviate by changing something about their environment. When it comes to your pet, I will treat them just like you and I hope to make your fur baby feel like you never left the house.

About: Hi! I'm someone who truly enjoys caring for animals and making sure they feel safe, calm, and loved. I would describe myself as patient, gentle, and very attentive to detail. I understand that pets aren't just animals - they're family — and I treat them that way. I've had hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats. One of the most meaningful experiences I've had was assisting my family dog during her pregnancy and being present when she gave birth. I cared for the newborn puppies myself — making sure they were warm, monitored, fed, and safe during those critical early weeks. That experience taught me responsibility, patience, and how to stay calm in important moments. During my time in college, I also cared for a cat while balancing a full academic schedule and athletic commitments. Managing both taught me adaptability, time management, and consistency. No matter how busy life was, I always made sure the cat was fed, comfortable, and given attention daily. I'm adaptable, reliable, and very mindful of each pet's individual needs. Whether your pet is energetic and playful or shy and relaxed, I take the time to understand their personality and make them feel comfortable. Your pet's safety, happiness, and routine are my priority. I currently don’t have a job right now because I am training for the NFL!! So I have a pretty open schedule after 12 pm!! I understand how important trust is when choosing someone to care for your pet. When you leave your pet with me, you can feel confident knowing they will be treated with patience, gentleness, and close attention. I take responsibility seriously and always prioritize safety, consistency, and clear communication. If your pet stays in my home, they will be in a clean, calm, and structured environment. I follow feeding schedules carefully, provide regular walks and playtime, and make sure they feel comfortable and secure. I pay attention to their behavior and adjust to their energy level, whether they need active engagement or quiet time. If I'm caring for your pet in your home, I respect your space and your pet's routine. I stick closely to your instructions, maintain their normal schedule, and make sure they feel as relaxed as possible in their familiar environment. I also provide updates so you always know how your pet is doing My goal is simple: to make sure your pet feels safe, cared for, and happy while you're away.
About: I am a work-from-home therapist and only have one cat in the home. I am open to doing drop-in visits or house-sitting services. I have been a pet parent since I was a child and had my senior dogs live up to 17 and 20 years old. I am an avid animal advocate and have experience tending to animals with medical needs such as my own requiring medication daily. I am open to caring for senior fur babies as well as cats. I have experience working at an animal shelter, tending to their kennels and providing enrichment time. I have taken care for large dogs, medium dogs, and small dogs are my speciality. I am chronically ill so my availability is quite open outside of medical appointments I tend to and as I work from home, I can take pets out in between meetings and also keep an eye on them during work hours. I have a double door gated area, no yard but I keep an eye on my dogs whenever they outside or I am walking them. My space is one floor and open so they are free to roam. When I am able to drive I take them to the dog park. I follow through with medical instructions whenever my pets or my siblings pets need to take antibiotics of some sort. I am consistent with my pet sitting.

“Esmeralda did a great job with the drop-in visit for our dogs. Instructions were followed perfectly, and the pups were well-fed and happy. We returned home to two very happy dogs. Highly recommend Esmeralda for anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter!”

“Melisa was, in a word, AMAZING. We scheduled drop-in visits with her to keep an eye on our cat Clementine and Melisa wrote detailed updates for us and sent us a ton of photos, which we loved. We had a pee-incident on the couch that Melisa took in stride (thank you so much, again) and she really went above and beyond, helping put enzymatic cleaner on our couch so that the cat urine didn't just sit for two weeks, popping our mail inside and also keeping an eye on my plants. Stellar sitter and is 100% our go-to person from now on. Thanks again, Melisa!”

“Teah was great from the start. She came and met my bay girl Buttercup before we booked, to make sure she (buttercup) felt comfortable with her. Immediately, Buttercup started to get close to Teah and felt comfortable around her. Teah also sent me pictures and kept me updated while I was away. I will definitely book again in future trips, if she’s available.”

About: Hi, I’m Brandon. I’ve been caring for dogs of many breeds and sizes for over 25 years. I have two rescues of my own…a Boxer and a German Shepherd Mix. We now operate primarily out of our Compton facility with fenced yards and plenty room to run and play. I Looking forward to connecting with you and your pet. We are experienced and flexible and can accommodate different feeding, care and behavioral needs. Dogs have plenty room to eat, sleep and play alone or with other dogs. Dogs have plenty of room to play, fenced yards and crates if necessary. The Compton facility is also monitored by video surveillance and security systems.
About: Not only do I provide walks and potty breaks but also love, support, encouragement and small tricks to have a better relationship with you & your pup. I’m currently working part-time making this a perfect opportunity to get more time to spend with precious pups who need a little extra love while their parents are away! I have a big yard with fences that blocks off any potential danger for my pup. I also have an XXL Crate which is used for crate training if needed. I pay attention to specific instructions/detail any client has regarding home care.
About: One thing about me, I genuinely care for your pet. I treat each pet as if they are my own and make sure to show that love and care throughout my time with them. Ive been a dog sitter and walker for over 9 years before joining this app. From puppies to seniors and with different health needs, I have the experience needed to take care of your pup. I now live in South Gate in a home with a fenced-in yard with convenient access to freeways and streets for easy commute. My time is most free during business hours but I am happy to accommodate to your scheduling needs. I currently live in an apartment. While it is a bit cramped, my husky is not territorial in the least and guest pups have an easy time accommodating to the space. If I am in someone else’s home, I will make sure to adhere to the rules and guidelines they provide me to take care of their pup(s).

About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments since I was 10 years old. As a veterinary technician, I’m comfortable with pets who need medication, senior care, or extra patience. Friends, neighbors, and family often rely on me to walk, feed, bathe, and love their pets as if they were my own. Whether it’s a shy cat or a high-energy pup, I always take the time to make them feel safe and happy. I currently work full-time during the week, but I’m available on weekend mornings for pet sitting, drop-ins, or short walks. This schedule lets me give your pet my full attention without rushing, keeping their routine calm and consistent. Pets in my care stay safely inside my clean, comfortable room where they can relax without stress. I keep the area pet-proofed, quiet, and supervised at all times. I can crate your dog if needed and provide a calm space that feels like home while you’re away.
“Cecilia took great care of my 3 pets, 1 high energy dog, 1 hangry cat, and 1 scaredy cat that hides from everyone. This was my first time using Rover but Cecilia kept my mind at ease with great communication, thoughtful questions, and fantastic pics.”

About: I have over 30 years experience with all types of animals, but mostly birds, parrot's 🦜 mostly and dogs 🐕 and cats 😺 I train and raised them throughout the year's of my life.... professional training, Exercise lol love and patience , the desire to take care of animals in need, something I always wanted to do since a child, and watching programs like the discovery channel and national geographic made me want to experience working with wildlife and their well being We love animals, me and my peers,we were raised with pets all are lives and attended to them as well, always keeping fresh water, clean healthy environments for our pets, making sure they have the nutritional value in the food we feed them because fresh water and good diet can help while you are out walking and your dog for example uses the potty, and healthy diet makes it easier to pick up the mess, and reading and knowing about the particular breed you have, can make it a lot easier to raise your dog or cats 😺
About: I own two dogs. I love to walk them and to play with them. I learned how to be patient with them as puppies. Patience is what sets me apart from other sitters. I know that pets are curious, especially dogs. And when out, they like to smell and stare at unknown objects or environments. So I give them moments to be able to acclimate to their surroundings and to people. I work as a freelance brand ambassador. In between jobs/events I have a lot of free time. Because my schedule is so open I am available to care for your dogs while you are tending to other commitments. I stay in close proximity to the dogs in order to ensure that they are not chewing or eating something they're not supposed to. I also like to read books because it's a quiet activity that enables dogs to lay close by and rest near a human.
About: Dog lover, advocate, and proud dog mom! Since 2021, I’ve cared for dogs of all types, specializing in large breeds. I’ve also previously fostered dogs, helping them adjust to new routines and feel secure. I’m insured and bonded outside of Rover and trained in pet first aid, so I can confidently handle medications, emergencies, and everyday care. My experience includes solo dogs, leash-reactive pups, rescues, and senior dogs, giving them safe, steady, and thoughtful care. At the end of the day, my goal is simple: help dogs feel happy, confident, and truly seen. After graduating from Montgomery College in 2021, I discovered my passion for dog walking and sitting. Pet care is my main focus, though I start the day with a part-time job in the morning. Afterward, I dedicate my time to walks, drop-ins, and playtime. Boarded dogs receive regular walks, meals, and enrichment activities to keep them happy and healthy. Evenings include another walk, dinner, and cuddle time, ensuring that no dog is left alone for long periods. My home is a roomy townhouse where your pup will have a friendly companion and a safe, relaxed space to enjoy. I’m located just minutes from a fantastic park, perfect for daily outings and play. During your dog’s stay, I’ll send photo updates so you can feel confident they’re safe, happy, and well cared for. I’m also fully insured for pet care services, providing an extra layer of peace of mind for every visit.

Andrea was very kind to take my request with very short notice. As soon as she agreed, she asked me how she could take care of for my babies. She was informative and sent pictures of my babies. And the last visit that I canceled, she was kind enough to tell me I would not get charged, since I came back from my vacation earlier than I planned. Overall, she did great and made sure my babies were taken care of. I would totally book again next time I take a vacation, if she’s available.

Teah was great from the start. She came and met my bay girl Buttercup before we booked, to make sure she (buttercup) felt comfortable with her. Immediately, Buttercup started to get close to Teah and felt comfortable around her. Teah also sent me pictures and kept me updated while I was away. I will definitely book again in future trips, if she’s available.

Celeste was amazing with daily visits for our cat, Mac! She was so sweet in taking care of him and communicating with us. With our week long trip, we worried about leaving Mac. Celeste made us feel super comfortable with the daily updates, photos, and videos. She was super responsive and attentive to Mac. We’ll definitely reach out to her again for future trips!

Guadalupe has been walking my 4 yr old German Shepherd for a couple of times and my dog really likes her. Looking forward for many more regular walks.
