About: Hi! My name is Maimu. When I lived in Japan, I always had dogs and cats as pets, so caring for them feels very natural to me. I provide calm, attentive care and follow your pet’s routine closely—feeding, fresh water, playtime, walks, and regular potty breaks. I’ll keep your home tidy and communicate clearly, with photo updates so you feel at ease while you’re away. My availability for walks is currently mainly: * Morning: 6:30 AM–8:00 AM * Evening: 5:00 PM–7:00 PM On some days, I may also be available during the day—please send me a message and I’ll let you know my availability. My schedule can vary depending on childcare, so please contact me in advance to confirm dates and times. Safety is my top priority, and I always supervise interactions and follow your instructions carefully. I can also run with your dog, so jogs/runs are very welcome! I know it can be stressful to trust someone else with a beloved dog or cat—they’re family. I take time to build trust with both you and your pet, and I’ll do my very best to provide thoughtful, individualized care. Pet care works well with my weekly routine because I organize my schedule around visits and walks. I’m currently available from 6:30–8:00 AM and 3:30–7:00 PM, and I always do my best to reply promptly. Safety and trust are my top priorities. I carefully follow your instructions and your pet’s routine, and I keep doors and gates secure. I always use a leash outdoors unless you tell me otherwise, avoid risky situations, and monitor body language for stress. In your home, I keep the space clean and tidy, refresh food and water, and send photo updates. If anything seems unusual, I contact you right away.
About: Animal lover! I’ve taken care of many different type of pets- big, small, young, and old. I have extra love and patience for seniors pets <3 I’m currently working part time with a somewhat flexible schedule. I’m available all day on the weekends but only available all day on some weekdays. I’ll make sure all food/bathroom areas are clean and home is secured before leaving. I can follow instructions, no matter how specific or silly they can be.

“Citlalli was absolutely amazing! I accidentally booked my two drop-in visits for the wrong day, but she was so flexible, understanding, and generous about it. She took such great care of my dog and sent me the cutest pictures and he looked so happy and comfortable! 🥹 I really appreciated how kind and accommodating she was. I would definitely book with Citlalli again and highly recommend her! ❤️”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life from my own pups to my friends! I have experience with big and small dogs of all different breeds and am happy to help. I work Monday through Friday from 9-5 so I can help in the early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays for drop-ins or walks. If close by, I can also help with last minute needs. I have experience with runners so I’m very careful to ensure your pets won’t get out without their leash and my supervision. They are in safe hands to be cared for and come home safely!

About: I’ve always loved animals and enjoy spending time with dogs of all sizes and personalities. I currently have a Doberman-Husky mix, so I’m very familiar with caring for a high-energy, intelligent breed that needs regular exercise, structure, and plenty of attention. I also have experience raising and caring for a Husky from puppyhood through their first year. In addition, I’ve cared for a senior dog, so I understand the importance of patience, gentle handling, and following a consistent routine. I’m comfortable administering oral medications to both dogs and cats according to the owner’s or veterinarian’s instructions and always prioritize each pet’s comfort and well-being. I’m reliable, attentive, and committed to following each owner’s care instructions. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, or a slower pace, I’ll tailor each visit to their individual needs. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you can feel confident your pet is in good hands. I treat every pet as if they were my own—with patience, kindness, and plenty of love. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I care for my own Doberman-Husky mix every day, including walks, exercise, feeding, and playtime. I enjoy being active and spending time with animals, so I have flexibility throughout the week to provide walks, drop-in visits, and quality care. I make it a priority to be dependable, arrive on time, and follow each pet’s routine so they feel comfortable and well cared for. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I do my best to keep their routine as consistent as possible. I follow all feeding, walking, medication, and care instructions carefully to help pets feel comfortable and secure in their familiar environment. I make sure they have fresh water, plenty of exercise or playtime, affection based on their personality, and a clean space. I also pay close attention to their behavior and well-being and will keep you updated with photos and messages after each visit. My priority is to provide safe, dependable, and loving care so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is in good hands.
About: What sets me apart is the level of care, patience, and attention I give every pet. I've cared for pets much larger than myself and am comfortable handling dogs of all sizes. I have experience giving medications, following detailed care instructions, and making sure each pet's individual needs are met. I'm also experienced with reactive dogs, as well as anxious dogs and cats. I understand the importance of staying calm, reading body language, and creating a safe, low-stress environment where pets can feel comfortable and secure. Communication is a priority for me, so I provide regular updates and photos to keep pet parents informed while they're away. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, loved, and well cared for, while giving owners peace of mind knowing their furry family member is in good hands. Pet care fits naturally into my routine. I am fully available during the summer months (June through August), which allows me to provide flexible scheduling for walks, drop-in visits, daycare, and overnight stays. During the school year, I work in a school-based setting, so I am available in the evenings and most weekends. I am also fully available during school holidays, including Thanksgiving and Christmas. I enjoy spending time with animals and make sure every pet receives attentive, reliable care, exercise, and affection. For the comfort and safety of pets, I primarily provide care in the client’s home. This helps pets stay in their familiar environment and reduces stress, especially for dogs that may be anxious or reactive. I do live in a back house where the property owners have three small dogs, so for safety and to ensure a calm environment, I prefer not to introduce new dogs into that space. I am open to cat boarding on a case-by-case basis. I also have a strictly indoor cat in my home who is well-adjusted and calm around other animals. I am available for overnight stays and in-home care, and I always prioritize each pet’s safety, comfort, and routine while following owner instructions closely.
About: I have always had a love and passion for animals, especially cats and dogs. I don't think I have ever come across a furry friend who I did not like and want to cuddle. I have taken care of some dogs into their senior years and through their rainbow bridge crossing, and will always strive to do what is best for any pet. I am currently in nursing school and am typically free most days after 12PM except on Wednesdays. So please feel free to reach out to me and let's try to schedule a time that works best for you, your pet, and myself! I treat my pets as my own children. I routinely check them for any bumps or lumps anytime I am petting them, I also make sure to see if there are any signs of stress that I can alleviate by changing something about their environment. When it comes to your pet, I will treat them just like you and I hope to make your fur baby feel like you never left the house.
About: I make sure every walk was filled with fun, fresh air, and lots of tail wags! Ensured dogs got the exercise and attention they needed while keeping them safe and happy. Send updates and cute pictures to owners to keep them connected. I’m more open during the week ( especially the mornings!) than the weekends. I have múltiple dogs on my own so I’m used to the routines. I maintain a structured feeding schedules, plenty of activity, and lots of mental stimulation through toys, enrichment games, and training. Keep a clean living space and monitor their behavior closely to make sure they feel comfortable and cared for every day.

About: I have had many dogs over the years that I not only primarily took care of but trained as well. I love all dogs and am going into the veterinary field because of my love and passion for our best friends. I believe that our best friends are our top priorities because on days where we have nothing left to give they give us the energy we need to keep going. I take care of all dogs the way I take care of my own. I am currently attending school, so I have lots of down time which allows me to properly take care of my own pets as well as others! I have a two story home and a friendly baby who loves other dogs especially puppies. I also live across from a huge park that has a very nice dog park and many of my own fur babies friends.

About: I love animals and consider them to be like children who deserve all the love and care they can get. Seeing them happy and content truly makes me happy inside . I have owned and taken care of cats and dogs for over 20 years, as I have always been an animal person. I am typically available for dog walking in the evening on weekdays and for visits throughout the day. I am just starting out but am looking forward to building great relationships with you and your little one! I have no issue administering any medications that your pet may need. My aim is to have fun and allow your playful animal to do all the running and playing that their heart desires! Ciao for now! I take care of my own pets daily and have no problem giving them the attention they need and deserve. I home throughout the day so I am available. I make sure that they have a clean area to feed, toys are accessible for when they are bored, and I make sure water is always available when needed.
About: I’m a professional dog and cat lover and would love to watch your fluffy ones! I work as a pilates instructor so my schedule is very open and relaxed. At most I am away is four hours at a time. I am fortunate to have a flexible schedule. I teach pilates in the morning (never more than 3 hours at a time typ 8-11am) and then I nanny in the afternoons 3-6pm. So, my afternoon are completely free for walks and even at my nanny job I can watch dogs with Zion (she'd love and is a super friendly tiny labrador-husky-aussie cattle mutt). If you don't want your dog co-mingling with other doggos and just need somebody to sit, I am free to let out and hang with them for pee breaks early morning, afternoons, and nighttime. My schedule is very movable! Unfortunately, my apartment does not allow pets. Otherwise, I would love to have them over at my place. So, I am really only available for dog walking and in-house care. I have a dog hammock for my car to transport dogs in my back seat and minimize hair shed.
About: What sets me aside from other sitters is I’ve been a pet owner nearly my entire life. Before I learned to read I was a cat owner. By the time I was in middle school I was a dog owner. I love animals of all sizes, temperaments, and breeds. I strive to ensure all animals in my care are treated as my own. My pets are a big highlight to my day to day life, and watching yours will be a great addition to that! I am a construction worker, my work day starts at 5am and is over the latest by 1am. I am available weekends and also weekdays for overnights, drop ins, or partial days if needed. I am open to overnights as long as my work schedule is okay with you! I only offer my services in clients home. I offer overnight care and ensure that during my stay I leave your home as clean as it was left. If additional tasks are requested such as watering plants, gathering mail, etc, I’d be happy to do so!
“Melisa was, in a word, AMAZING. We scheduled drop-in visits with her to keep an eye on our cat Clementine and Melisa wrote detailed updates for us and sent us a ton of photos, which we loved. We had a pee-incident on the couch that Melisa took in stride (thank you so much, again) and she really went above and beyond, helping put enzymatic cleaner on our couch so that the cat urine didn't just sit for two weeks, popping our mail inside and also keeping an eye on my plants. Stellar sitter and is 100% our go-to person from now on. Thanks again, Melisa!”

“Jasmine was amazing! She took great care of our dogs during her drop-in visits—feeding them, walking them, and giving them plenty of love. She gave us real peace of mind while we were away for 8 days, and it was clear our pups were in great hands. She’s reliable, kind, and clearly loves animals. We’ll definitely be booking her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy pet sitter.”

When it comes to walking the dog, the walk is never rushed I always give the dog the time to do what they need to do, that or just get a exercise with them as we're bonding. Definitely first choice, glad i went with her! Book this beautiful young lady people you won’t regret it i promise. We received daily updates and pictures(she even got our very scary kitty who’s by the way never been a people person…to pet her) a miracle in my eyes lol so shout out to her. I’ll definitely be booking again !

Jacqueline was fantastic, she made me feel comfortable taking care of my cat Tigger , she made sure Tigger was fed and loved everyday and provided pictures everyday to let me know everything was okay. My cat is very shy and she took to well to Jacqueline, it's clear to see that Jacqueline is a kind sole . I would recommend her in a heartbeat and will definitely hire her again.

Teah was great from the start. She came and met my bay girl Buttercup before we booked, to make sure she (buttercup) felt comfortable with her. Immediately, Buttercup started to get close to Teah and felt comfortable around her. Teah also sent me pictures and kept me updated while I was away. I will definitely book again in future trips, if she’s available.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
