About: I have helped my neighbors with their dogs since I was a child , I have always loved animals. I have had stray cats walk up to me meowing hungry and I always try to go out of my way to feed them and to give them some love . I truly believe every animal needs to be loved and it is our job as humans to do this. I am a dog and a cat person I have one of each at home which I love so much. I know how important my animals are to me and I will love your pet as my own whether I am walking them or just dropping in to check on them I am currently a full time student, however I want a job that makes me happy and animals make me happy. I have a wide availability. I talk to my pets just as I would talk to your pet with a gentle kind voice . I am also very cautious when walking dogs as sometimes they can be very eager to get out and walk .
“Aileen was incredibly communicative and friendly from start to finish. She checked in regularly with photos and updates, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Both of our cats immediately felt comfortable with her, and it was clear they were well cared for. We came home to two happy, relaxed cats. Highly recommend and would definitely book again!”

“Citlalli was absolutely amazing! I accidentally booked my two drop-in visits for the wrong day, but she was so flexible, understanding, and generous about it. She took such great care of my dog and sent me the cutest pictures and he looked so happy and comfortable! 🥹 I really appreciated how kind and accommodating she was. I would definitely book with Citlalli again and highly recommend her! ❤️”

About: Hi everyone my name is Angie and I may be new to Rover but I am not new to loving and caring for precious pups. I currently don't have any dogs living with me but prior to July 2025 I had my own fur babies since 1992. I decided this would be a wonderful way for me to get some puppy love, bring peace of mind to traveling pet parents, and make some money while providing a loving service. I have taken care of many of my friends pups along the way. Saki, Sophie, Sushi, Bodhi, Lucy, and Honey. I also occasionally foster dogs to help my friend's rescue. I would love to meet and care for your babies. My home is a safe and loving space for pups to play and have their "stay-cation"!! I work from home and will be available to be with the pet pretty much all day. Consistent time outdoors will be provided weather permitting. I have a fenced yard with plenty of room to play or grab that nice patch of sunshine to nap in. I maintain a clean and calm environment.
About: I've taken dog grooming classes. I know how to bathe dogs and trim their nails. I've worked at a dog day care before. There, I helped watch dogs of all sizes and ages and bathe them as needed. I'm currently working part-time, so I have some free time throughout the week to pet-sit, walk, and drop in. I currently cannot board due to my apartment not allowing pets at the moment. I follow what I believe is the best protocol when dealing with animals. When I introduce myself, I like to lower myself to the ground to meet them at their level and try to let them approach me when they want. I love to play and pet animals.
About: I've been caring for animals since I was 7 years old and have experience with both dogs and cats, including raising 3 liters of kittens from birth to adulthood. Caring for animals has always naturally come to me and I treat every pet with the same patience, attention, and affection I'd want for my own. I am active, attentive, and happy to adjust to each pets individual personality and routine. Whether they love long walks and exploring outside or prefer relaxing at home with plenty of companionship, my priority is making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while they're away from their family. For boarding, I only accept one client's pets at a time, allowing me to provide a calm environment and plenty of individual attention. I'm also comfortable administering medications, assisting with basic grooming such as nail trims, and following detailed feeding, walking, and care instructions. I know being away from home can be an adjustment for some pets, so I am patient and happy to give them the time and reassurance they need to settle in. I go to school part time and will fit your pet into my routine with dedicated time slots to take care of your pet and their needs. I can ensure your pet is in a comfortable environment, get regular exercise, kept up with routines, and following specific instructions provided while monitoring their health.

About: Your pet’s new favorite visitor. 🐾🐕 Hi! My name is Laileen. 💕 I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember, and spending time with them has always been one of my favorite things. I’m currently in college working toward my dream of becoming a veterinarian, so getting to care for pets while working toward that goal truly means a lot to me. As a pet owner myself, I know how hard it can be to trust someone else with your furry family member. Whether you’re away for a few hours or a few days, I want you to feel completely comfortable knowing they’re in good hands. I believe every pet deserves patience, kindness, and lots of love. Some pets love long walks and playtime, while others are happiest relaxing on the couch or getting belly rubs. Whatever makes your pet happiest, I’ll do my best to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. One of my favorite parts of pet sitting is getting to know each pet’s unique personality. There’s nothing better than earning their trust (and maybe becoming their new best friend too!). 🐾 I’ll always treat your pet like family and care for them the same way I’d want someone to care for my own. I can’t wait to meet you and your furry best friend! 💕 As a college student, I have a flexible schedule and enjoy fitting pet care into my week. -Mondays and Wednesdays: 9am-12pm -Tuesdays And Thursday's : 1:30pm-6pm -Fridays-Sunday: Always available! 😚 Your pet’s safety and comfort will always be my top priority. Before every visit, I take the time to learn your pet’s routine, personality, and any special instructions so I can care for them in the way they’re most comfortable. I’ll carefully follow feeding schedules, walking routines, medication instructions (if needed), and any house rules you provide. Whether we’re out on a walk or relaxing at home, I’ll always make sure your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for. I also know how reassuring it is to hear how your pet is doing while you’re away. You can expect regular updates and lots of photos so you can relax knowing they’re having a great time. My goal is simple: to make your pet feel loved while giving you complete peace of mind. ❤️

About: I grew up on a family farm. We had all kinds of farm animals and live stock guardian dogs and barn cats that helped and were our most prized animals. I also have experience caring for fish, reptiles, birds, rabbits, hampsters, guinea pigs and rats. While I have a career I love as hairdresser. I’m looking to make some extra money and fulfill a passion I have for animal husbandry/care-taking. Availability: Sunday early morning and mid afternoons into evenings. (6a-10a), (3p-11p). Tuesdays-Thursdays (5p-11p) Saturday nights (8p-12a) or over night is a possibility If I were to stay over night with your animal family members; it would essential for me to have clear instructions of your expectations and your pets needs. While I have a wide variety of animal care experience; every animal has its own personality and needs. It is important to me that your pets are just as comfortable with me as they are with you. I am happy to meet the needs of any animal.

About: I have several years of experience caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities. I grew up with pets at home and have helped friends and neighbors with daily walks, feeding, and playtime. I’m comfortable handling both energetic puppies and calm senior dogs, making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved. I have a flexible schedule and can fit pet care around my daily routine. I’m available both weekdays and weekends, and I always make time to give pets the attention they deserve. Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for pets. In my client’s home, I always follow the owner’s instructions carefully—whether it’s feeding schedule, walking routes, or house rules. I make sure doors and gates are securely closed at all times, and I never leave pets unattended outdoors.

About: I have worked with animals since I was a little girl on my grandpas farm! I worked in dog boarding, dog grooming and did an internship through the SPCA. I also fostered cats for multiple years and have experience with medication, shots and different types of temperament. I have dealt with it all! I currently work part time at a bank so I have lots of availability especially on weekends. I usually work 4-6 hours during the day. I feel as though animals are more comfortable at their own house so I’d be more than happy to take them on long walks around the neighborhood or even play in the backyard.
“Melisa was, in a word, AMAZING. We scheduled drop-in visits with her to keep an eye on our cat Clementine and Melisa wrote detailed updates for us and sent us a ton of photos, which we loved. We had a pee-incident on the couch that Melisa took in stride (thank you so much, again) and she really went above and beyond, helping put enzymatic cleaner on our couch so that the cat urine didn't just sit for two weeks, popping our mail inside and also keeping an eye on my plants. Stellar sitter and is 100% our go-to person from now on. Thanks again, Melisa!”

About: I have ample experience caring for other families dogs, as well as my own three who have now passed. I have been a trusted caregiver for pets for over 10 years, including overnight stays and drop-ins. I will care for your dog/cat as if they are my own family’s pets. I am currently not working after graduating College, so pet-sitting fits perfectly into my schedule. I have a fully open schedule, and am ready to care for your sweet fur babies! I care for pets in my home, or a clients home, the way that I would care for my own pets. This care is full of love, compassion, energy and excitement.
“Jasmine was amazing! She took great care of our dogs during her drop-in visits—feeding them, walking them, and giving them plenty of love. She gave us real peace of mind while we were away for 8 days, and it was clear our pups were in great hands. She’s reliable, kind, and clearly loves animals. We’ll definitely be booking her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy pet sitter.”

Maggie was referred to me by a friend who is also a cat mama obsessed with her cats so I knew I could trust her. She took EXCELLENT care of our two cats. She was very communicative and compassionate. She was observant and made sure they always had what they needed. I was actually able to enjoy my vacation because I knew that they were in good hands! I highly recommend Maggie as a sitter for your pets!

Suyoon is such an amazing care taker. She administered insulin shots to my diabetic cat (who can sometimes be a little grouchy) with ease. I definitely recommend Suyoon to anyone that has a pet that’s on the sensitive side or needs medication. She is awesome! 🤩

Indra did an amazing job dropping in to check on out pets during our trip. She was prompt, reliable, and communicative. She took extra care giving out pets the type of attention they like, and shared great pictures and videos with us daily. Would highly recommend.

Lipika was the greatest. What piece of mind I had on my trip. This service is so worth it. The pictures and comment go a long way. Last time I asked a friend and I didn’t feel the care that Lipika had. Thank you for great people like her and I will book again for my upcoming trip in June and September!

Sarah was on top of it for drop-in visits to my cat, (who definitely has her quirks and is not always easy). I got good updates along the way and felt very comfortable to have her in my home. It was great to have her help while I was away for a last minute trip.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
