About: Last year we said goodbye to our thirty pound poodle mix after 17 amazing years. Our kids, ages 15, 12, 9, and 5 have had a dog in the home all their lives and while we aren't ready to get a new dog just yet we would love to take care of yours! My husband Liam, always had dogs in his family’s house growing up. We have a spacious home and fenced back yard in a quiet Hawthorne neighborhood close to LAX. It’s easy for us to let the dogs out back throughout the day and to go for frequent walks around the block. We used Rover for our own dog so we know how great it feels to know that your pup is being taken care of like family while you are away. Poodles, poodle mixes, and smaller dogs are preferred but there’s always exceptions. My husband Liam, and I both work from home so there's always an adult around to make sure the dogs are taking care of. We live in a quiet neighborhood that's easy to take the dogs on walks. And with our backyard we can let the dogs out for frequent bathroom breaks if needed. We have a completely fenced in back yard that our dog loved in his time here. Our older children are at school or activities for most of the day so the dogs will generally have the run of the house.

About: Hi there! We are Edwin & Jenn and dogs have always been a big part of our lives. We took a hiatus but are back again and ready to welcome your pup to our home! We live in a very quiet and dog friendly neighborhood in Gardena, with our two dogs, Strudel (a Shih-Tzu) and Lafayette (Shih-Tzu Terrier Mix). We currently work from home, so your pup will be well attended to. And you will receive two to three photo updates per day (or more if you want!) We have plenty of toys to keep your dog stimulated, who will have the full range of our home (no crates or gates) to roam around in a playful and loving environment. We also have a gated backyard. Our dogs are very friendly, with great temperaments, and are always down to play with your dog. We are happy to watch up to two dogs from the same household at a given time. As always, they took amazing care of Letty. She got along great with their dog and looked completely comfortable and happy during her stay. When I picked her up, she was calm, relaxed, and clearly felt at home. In fact, she seemed so comfortable that she didn't seem worried at all when I arrived, which tells me she was receiving lots of love and attention. It's never easy leaving your dog with someone else, especially a senior dog, but I felt completely at ease knowing she was in good hands. Letty came back happy, warm, and well cared for. I truly appreciate the kindness and attention they gave her and would absolutely trust them with her again. Thank you for taking such great care of my girl!
Luther had such an absolute amazing time. We could tell from the photo and video updates (he had zoomies and rolled all over Annie’s rug showing how much he was loving being there). On top of that Luther looked like he got along with Kina and they understood each other. What a perfect match for our fur baby. We will definitely be reaching out for another play date soon.
Emily was great! We did a meet and greet with her dog ahead of the first stay to make sure they could get along. She sent plenty of photos and videos throughout the day and most importantly, our dog seems like he had a great time hanging out with her dog and cat!
