About: I’m a professional dog and cat lover and would love to watch your fluffy ones! I work as a pilates instructor so my schedule is very open and relaxed. At most I am away is four hours at a time. I am fortunate to have a flexible schedule. I teach pilates in the morning (never more than 3 hours at a time typ 8-11am) and then I nanny in the afternoons 3-6pm. So, my afternoon are completely free for walks and even at my nanny job I can watch dogs with Zion (she'd love and is a super friendly tiny labrador-husky-aussie cattle mutt). If you don't want your dog co-mingling with other doggos and just need somebody to sit, I am free to let out and hang with them for pee breaks early morning, afternoons, and nighttime. My schedule is very movable! Unfortunately, my apartment does not allow pets. Otherwise, I would love to have them over at my place. So, I am really only available for dog walking and in-house care. I have a dog hammock for my car to transport dogs in my back seat and minimize hair shed.

“Justin was amazing! I needed a last minute sitter to fed and take Loki potty while I was visiting the area for the weekend and had 2 longs days. Got the cutest photo of my Loki! Would definitely recommend Justin and will book again if I’m in the area again!”

“Liz was a great sitter for us and took wonderful care of Rocky and Her Babes while we were away. She was thoughtful, communicated any needs and gave them plenty of play time. She knew exactly how to handle the little menaces. 🖤”

“Hannah was very responsive and was such a life saver for me. She responded quick and shared photos of my loving boy Oakley. I am so glad I was able to book her and would recommend her for anyone.”

“Gassia is a star! I’ve had her care for my two babies several times now and to say she goes above and beyond is an understatement. Your fur babies couldn’t be in better hands”

About: I'm incredibly blessed to have always been around dogs, with my family having adopted our first puppy when I was eight years old. Now with three dogs in my family- a Pitbull mix and a collie mix, as well as a Belgian Malinois who lives with me- I have experience with a wide variety of breeds and personalities, and understand that each dog is unique and requires tailored patience and care. In addition to having pets as a part of my family, I am also lucky enough to have volunteered with a local dog rescue, and have been petsitting professionally for five years. I also have experience in the veterinary field and am Fear-Free certified. Dogs are as dear to us as family members, and I want to ensure that your pet receives the best care possible. i’m currently in-between jobs and preparing for my master’s, so i would love to spend every spare moment i have helping you and your pup :) I have a large, fenced in yard at my home, and happen to live near a neighborhood park, perfect for walking through with your dog
“Mia was wonderful! Our lil guy who is alwaysssss healthy decided to get randomly sick before we left, which gave her some extra smelly details to handle and she did so with care! We are so grateful!”

“Indra was very communicative and took such great care of my pups during her drop in visit. She is reliable and my pups loved her. It’s nice knowing I have someone I can trust near by. Thanks so much Indra! 🐾✨”

“She was great and my cats loved her! She gave them lots of love and sent plenty of pictures and communicated every step of the way. I highly recommend her and will be booking in the future when needed!!”

“Camryn was great! She’s super communicative, detail oriented, and accommodating. Our extremely shy cat even came out to have some treats and spend some time with her. Will absolutely book with her again!”

Suyoon is such an amazing care taker. She administered insulin shots to my diabetic cat (who can sometimes be a little grouchy) with ease. I definitely recommend Suyoon to anyone that has a pet that’s on the sensitive side or needs medication. She is awesome! 🤩

Sarah is a TEN-star caregiver. She was conscientious and thorough in her reports and paid attention to all the details required for her daily drop-in visits with our difficult cat, Sammy. It was clear from her notes and even more so from her photos that Sammy was receiving food and companionship. Early in our 3-week trip, we became assured that engaging Sarah hd been the right choice; her photos and videos enlivened our days, and Sammy was in fine condition when we returned. We are grateful for Sarah's care, and would recommend her highly to anyone looking for a drop-in cat sitter.

Literally, Amber is a life saver. I needed a last minute pet sitter & she was a perfect sitter for my boy Smokey. He’s on three different types of medication twice a day and she was on it! Updated pictures & spent quality time with Smokey. 10/10 recommend, she even left a sweet card, checked on me when I returned home, and some snack for her new furry bff.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Westmont. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
