To provide the best care possible, I need to know your pet’s routine, including feeding schedule, treat preferences, walk times, and any specific habits or quirks. Please share any behavioral triggers, medical needs, or restrictions, especially if your pet requires medications or has a history of anxiety or aggression. For safety, I also ask that you provide emergency contact details and your preferred veterinarian’s information. For House Sitting Requests: If your pet needs a high level of care, such as frequent medication, constant monitoring, or intensive supervision, please let me know in advance. I am capable of providing this level of care, but it may affect my availability and rates, as I may need to adjust or pause other responsibilities to focus solely on your pet’s needs.
A typical day
For dog walks, I focus on helping your pup burn off that energy with plenty of exercise tailored to their needs, whether it’s a brisk neighborhood walk or a leisurely stroll to sniff every blade of grass (did you know that smelling is their version of social media?!). Of course, I’ll always pick up after them and make sure they’re safe and happy the entire time. During pet-sitting, I care for both dogs and cats with attention to detail. Dogs can expect plenty of playtime with their favorite toys, energizing walks, and scheduled meals with fresh water. For cats, I’ll engage them with interactive play (if they’re into it!) and ensure their litter box is clean. Treats will be given if allowed, and I’ll always ensure both cats and dogs feel loved with plenty of pets and cuddles (if they’re into that too, of course!). Rest assured, you’ll always be kept in the loop with detailed updates and lots of great photos, because I know how much peace of mind it brings to see your furry family member happy and cared for.

I have over 25 years of hands-on pet care experience, including several years where I worked at an animal hospital. I’ve cared for senior pets, special needs animals, and those requiring injections, oral meds, sub-q fluids, or post-op care. I currently have two rescue cats and two rescue chi-weenies, all with their own unique quirks and needs. I have a calm, intuitive approach, especially with shy or anxious pets. I treat every animal like family and always aim to make them feel safe, seen, and cared for. 🤍

Sarah took such good care of our eleven year old foster dog, Claudia! She messaged updates regularly, which I LOVED, and she also let me know when she was leaving the house without the dog to run errands, etc. A sitter has never done that before, and I 💯 appreciated it! The house was spotless when we returned, and most importantly, Claudia was so relaxed, and happy when we got home - she loved Sarah. We’re looking forward to booking her again soon!

Sarah is a TEN-star caregiver. She was conscientious and thorough in her reports and paid attention to all the details required for her daily drop-in visits with our difficult cat, Sammy. It was clear from her notes and even more so from her photos that Sammy was receiving food and companionship. Early in our 3-week trip, we became assured that engaging Sarah hd been the right choice; her photos and videos enlivened our days, and Sammy was in fine condition when we returned. We are grateful for Sarah's care, and would recommend her highly to anyone looking for a drop-in cat sitter.
Sarah is wonderful! We had the absolute best experience with her and could not have asked for a better sitter. She took such incredible care of our pups while we were away. She was super communicative by always keeping us in the the loop and sending daily updates and beautiful photos, and she left the house in immaculate shape. It made such a difference knowing everything was taken care of so thoughtfully. She followed all our instructions perfectly and was attentive to our dogs’ routines and needs. You can tell she genuinely adores animals, and on top of that, she’s just a truly good human being. We feel so lucky and grateful to have had her looking after our pups.
