About: I grew up with dogs and have been caring for them for most of my life, so I understand their needs, behaviors, and personalities. I am attentive, responsible, and committed to making sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved. Whether it's walks, playtime, feeding, or providing companionship, I treat every dog as if they were my own. Pet owners can feel confident knowing their furry family members are in caring and capable hands. I work part-time, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of availability to care for pets. I’m able to reliably fit walks, drop-in visits, and pet care into my routine while giving each pet the attention they deserve. I’m available all day Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays! When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their usual routine to help them feel comfortable and secure. I make sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, fresh food and water, and a safe, clean environment while their owner is away.
“Gassia is such an amazing person with a huge heart for animals. She made sure my kitties were well taken care of during my holiday and was very punctual with sending photos and updates during each visit. She also made sure my kitties had fun and were entertained! Will definitely be my go-to sitter anytime my boyfriend and I will be out of town! ❤️👍”

About: I grew up with pets, both cats and dogs, and have experience caring for their needs. Playing, feeding, and cleaning up after them are no issue for me! I adore animals and would love to help you take care of your furry family members as if they were my own! I am a substitute teacher so, weekends, afternoons and evenings typically work best for me. Though I am flexible and work to adjust accordingly where possible. I will fully respect your home and leave it as I found it, clean and tidy. Any specific requirements in regards to feeding, treats, and play time with your pets will be followed. I am more than happy to keep you in the loop with how your pet is doing. Meet and Greets are fantastic and I'd love to get to know your pets before going on walks or pet sitting!
“Kristin did an amazing job with my cat Hughie! It was my first time leaving him alone on his own, but with Kristin's drop ins I was confident that he was in great hands. She gave him lots of playtime and attention and paid great attention to feeding and litter box instructions, took great pictures, and even brought in flowers that had been delivered and put them in an area where the cat couldn't get to them. I'll definitely be a repeat client!”

About: Hey there! I am Ariana, and I have grown up with all sorts of pets, from different dogs to birds, to fish. We'd often rescue animals when they were lost or injured until they found a home while caring for my own pets as well. This lifestyle has lead me to take care of my friends pets while they were away and now to Rover! I now focus on gaining the trust of pets and ensure that they feel safe in my care. I am a dancer in LA and spend most of my time at the studio in the greater LA area or in my neighborhood. For sitting I can stay at your place, or I'm happy to have my clients stay with me as well, however we do have another dog here. Whatever works best! Plus I live near a great park! I can guarantee you that your pet will recieve very special and respectful care from me as I truly believe in the importance of treating animals with love and kindness. I am pretty flexible as long as we communicate together on what is needed for your doggie. When visiting my client's home, I like to first communicate with the owners to learn about the needs of my clients, the rules, schedule, and what kind of activity is needed to ensure my client has a good time! I have a lot of patience and listening skills for doggies that are still learning social cues, and are still getting trained, or may even be a bit socially anxious. I never push animals if they are not ready, but i do enjoy offering guidance if needed. I always consider my surroundings and instill grounding when taking care of younger/less trained dogs. Dancer and kids ballet teacher...i usually have work Tues-Fridays in later afternoons. with that I have plenty of time to fill with pet care like walks and house sits. If I take care of a pet in my home I try to make it as comfortable as possible for them. I like to communicate with my clients about indoor training and how potty breaks work beforehand.
“Samantha was super helpful and available last minute to come walk Henry! She asked questions beforehand since I wasn’t able to show her before I left. She also gave some love to my cats!! Would totally recommend.”

“Finding a trustworthy sitter can be stressful, but Monica made it easy. She was always on time for visits and kept me updated throughout. Her responsiveness really set my mind at ease. I'll definitely be booking her again for my next trip!”

“Su is very friendly and professional. You can tell she really enjoys spending time with pets and makes sure they are having fun. Would definitely use her again for future care for my cat!”

About: I currently take care of my puppy, Pebble, with my partner. I’m a dog lover with a playful 1.5 years old corgi, and I truly understand the care, attention, and love dogs need every day. I grew up with dogs and have years of hands-on experience with various breeds, ages, and temperaments (1 golden retriever, 2 corgis, 2 english springers). What sets me apart is the level of attention and structure we provide. Since my own pup needs frequent potty breaks, we’ve naturally built a routine of regular walks, outdoor time, and consistent care throughout the day. I also have a fenced backyard that the dogs can play around in. I’m currently a graduate student (half remote) at USC, so I have plenty of free time to care for your babies. Your dog will never be left alone for long periods, and they’ll get plenty of company, cuddles, and playtime (not just from me, but also from our extremely friendly puppy). I’m especially good with puppies. I’ve had my puppy since she was 2 months old. I’m also the ones to train her. If you're looking for a sitter who treats dogs like family, keep a close routine, and genuinely enjoy spending time with pups, I’d love to care for your furry friend! I am a full time student (half remote classes), so I’m home most days. I’m available for regular care, attention, and companionship. Usually I wake up around 9 and will take my corgi on a walk. Lunch at 11 am, and another walk an hour or so later. Puppy gets her dinner at 6:30 pm, and I usually walk her before and after dinner. I typically go to sleep around midnight, and I take our puppy out on a walk before I go to sleep. I’m open to dog walking, dog sitting, dog boarding and cat sitting. I hope to provide a safe and loving environment. I’m a respectful, clean, and great guests.
About: I grew up with dogs and cats in my home and always owned a dog so I understand how important they are. I consider pets family and will celebrate their birthdays too. My friends and neighbor’s dogs always seem to like me. One neighbor had a Chihuahua that barked at everybody except me because I always stopped and stared at her. I think she liked that I always gave her attention. And I’ll make sure to give your fur baby attention too! Since my work schedule is very flexible I can fit pet care into my daily or weekly routine easily. Daily walks and feedings isn’t a problem I will take the necessary precautions to make sure your pet is secured in your home by checking locks and fenced areas because your pet’s safety is important to me
“Guadalupe was a reliable, punctual, attentive, and altogether great pet sitter to our kitty! Our cat had recently been spayed and needed medication applied to her incision site, which Guadalupe diligently did each day. Upon our request, Guadalupe even turned off some of our outdoor lights when it was raining. 5/5 stars! We would highly recommend Guadalupe for all of your pet sitting needs!”

About: I am a dog lover and I have grown up with dogs my entire 28 years of being alive! I grew up with a pitbull and a boxer during my childhood and now I currently have a chug and a chihuahua mix. I’m the go-to dog sitter for my friends, family, and neighbors! I have experience caring for dogs as small as 5 lbs and dogs over 100 lbs. I work from home full-time and can give your pup all the attention they deserve. Bathroom breaks are every 2 to 4 hours and can be more often if needed. I live in an apartment and allow dogs on my bed as well as the couch. I have plenty of blankets and pillows to make them feel at home.
About: I've had pets since I was a kid. I had a cat that lived to be 19, a Black Lab that made it to 16 and a Weimaraner that made to 13. I have a lot of experience caring for elderly pets and I have the energy for puppies. I have administered medication for both dogs via pill and shots. I most recently have been pet sitting my neighbors dogs and cats, if references are requested. I'm currently work remotely and am very flexible with time/hours/days/evenings/long term stay/short term stay/drop-ins. I offer over night stay as long as Wifi is provided for my work computer. I will create a safe and playful environment for your pet(s). I am open to suggestions/request per owner. Please feel free to reach out for further inquiries.
“Rhoda is a fantastic cat sitter who sent daily cute updates of my cat. Rhoda was very diligent with filling out rover cards. And was two-steps ahead in asking relevant questions about my return and my cat's care needs. Would definitely book again.”

About: I've grown up with many pets, from dogs my relatives have had, to my own dog and cat I grew up with. They all have such wonderful personalities and I love the shenanigans that come with them. I want to be able to help others care for their pets and get everything they need so owners can enjoy those shenanigans to the fullest. I can take pets out on long walks, play with them and give them proper mental stimulation, and help train. I usually spend the day working on my novels, so I am usually free on weekdays after 12, but I can be flexible if necessary. I can follow whatever special needs are required for your pet, as well as help formulate new ways to implement them or help your pet get used to new things
“Cailan is great and I definitely recommend booking with her. She was very patient with my dog who can take a second to warm up to people, she was very communicative, and took him out for a stroll around the block during her check in visit. I will definitely be using her again.”

Emma was awesome 👏 My little man was super sick and she was able to come last minute to take care of him. She gave him meds and looked after him and by the time I got home from my trip he was totally back to healthy. I will absolutely have her back if she’s available!

Anna went above and beyond! I was having a very stressful work week Anna helped clean up after my little trouble makers even when I let her know it was not necessary to. This was my second time booking with her and I already have another future booking 😊 Thanks Anna!

Emily was absolutely amazing. She watched our two kitties for a week while we were away, and I felt so comfortable with them in her care. She sent tons of updates, pictures, and went above and beyond to clean up after them, play with them, and bond with them. I can tell they already miss her, and we can’t wait to book her again the next time we leave town.

Our two girlies love Melanie! When we come back they're always so well taken care of and clearly got a ton of play time and love. We love Melanie's updates and always share them with the whole group when we travel. This is our second booking with Melanie and will absolutely book again!

Angela is GREAT! I was nervous to leave my elderly cat while on a work trip, and she eased all of my concerns. She reliably checked in during the same time window every day and sent reassuring updates and adorable pictures. I’ll definitely be booking Angela again!

Shiyibin was so great with check ins on my two cats. She gave me very clear communication with lots of videos and photos and even updated me if there was a change in her schedule or she noticed something with my boys (like a hairball). I really appreciated her thoroughness and consistency, it really helps bring a sense of relief when you know your animals are being cared for in a great way! Would highly recommend her!

Kat was so great with our kitties! She was very responsive and attentive to their needs and gave us lots of photo updates while we were away. So grateful she was able to watch them with such little notice as we had to leave town on short notice for an out of state family emergency. Would definitely recommend entrusting your fur babies in her care :)

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
