“Lizette accepted our invitation to sit at the last minute and she flexibly performed the job despite taking care of cat/kittens for another client. She was affectionate and caring with our pups, and communicated throughout the sit via Rover chat. She included videos and photos of our dogs on walks and left our home in the same state that she found it. The only improvement feedback we had for her was to ensure that she gives our dogs all the walks that we agreed they needed. We are thankful to have found her available for the job.”

“Sarah did a fantastic job watching our pup. Lulu was so happy when we got back and was extremely well taken care of. She kept in touch all the time, and we never felt worried about how Lulu was doing. Sarah is a super kind person and we would definitely recommend her to watch anyone else’s pet and we’d be lucky to have her again!”

“Maria was amazing! Took great care of Bristol and when I got in a bind of flight changing to next morning, she easily accommodated to spend an extra night last minute putting me at ease. I highly recommend her for dog sitting! I know Bristol had the best care!”

“You take a great leap of faith when you let someone you don't know well stay at your house and take care of your dogs while you are away. I had chosen Hannah based on her profile and reviews and she came over several times before we left to meet the dogs and chat with me. She wrote down everything in her notebook, asked many pertinent questions and seemed very trustworthy. I hired her, and she dog sat our two dogs and house sat for two weeks and was absolutely amazing! Hannah emailed me pictures and videos every day we were gone and wrote little descriptions of how the days went with the dogs. It was very charming and I felt safe, knowing the dogs were in the best of hands. When we came home, the dogs were happy, well fed and relaxed and the house looked great. When Hannah came over a few days later to say hi, the dogs greeted her with the kind of hysterical welcome the have until now only showed my husband and myself. This tells me how much they loved and trust her, and so do I! Hannah also worked on housebreaking with my youngest dog, and leash training with both of them and showed me how to continue their training. I will definitely ask Hanna to take care of my dogs next time we go away. You should too!”

“Absolutely the best service. She checked on my dogs after a questionable sitter situation and made sure they were safe and comfortable. She was patient, kind, and truly went above and beyond — leaving treats and even tidying up my living room. Highly recommend!”

“Stephanie watched our cat Leo for a weekend and our experience with her was everything you could hope for! She offered to come by to do a meet and greet and tour our home, which was very kind and helpful to the experience. She followed all of our care instructions and kept our home very tidy. Stephanie is overall very conscientious, professional and communicative!! would absolutely book with her again!”

“Ray was phenomenal! He took such great care of our pup, Nova, and our home while we were away! He gave us daily updates and photos, which we greatly appreciated. It helped ease any anxieties while being away from our fur baby. Nova really loved her time with Ray! Highly recommend and will use him again!”

“Jayde was a lovey house sitter! She was great with our senior dog and younger pup! She was communicative and when we arrived home the dogs were excited to see us and sad to see Jayde leave. Highly recommend!”

“Wonderful house sitter. Very communicative and attentive to our senior cat who needs extra TLC. Would recommend to anyone looking for a kind and dependable person. 10/10 ⭐️”

“Maxlaine was very communicative and helpful when watching my dog. She even brought my dog a toy that he really loves. My dog had an accident and she was very attentive and understanding. I will definitely be booking her again.”

“Rose was great. We needed last minute dog sitting. She had quick and great communication throughout the day. Followed all instructions for our pup and even sent pics :) would recommend and use again :)”
About: I've had dogs and cats my entire life, and began pet sitting professionally 12 years ago. I've cared for both senior dogs and puppies, plus a wide variety of breeds and sizes. I've walked dogs at a local animal shelter. I have experience in socializing, potty training, and giving amazing head scratches. I love being outside, mini adventures to a park or trail, high-energy play time, and cuddling up with a fur baby and a good book. I'm a college student, so my schedule is very flexible! I'd like to care for pets throughout the week. I love taking walks and playing outside with dogs, and I love staying in with a cat and a book just as much! Depending on your pet's needs, I can stay home with them, walk them in their familiar area, or take them on a little adventure to a dog park or a quiet trail. All activities will be discussed and approved by you first!
“Liz did great with my little pup over a long weekend trip. He was chipper and seemed well exercised and possibly better at sitting when I returned! He’s a puppy and can be a handful when he gets excited but she seemed well prepared for him. She also sent regular updates which I appreciated. I would definitely book with Liz again!”

“Janeth was extremely attentive and kind. She frequently sent pictures and let me know if she was running low on anything for the pups. I would definitely love to work with her in the future!”

“Anna was absolutely wonderful with our pets. She sent detailed updates and photos, and was very attentive to our dog. She noticed her paws were red and notified us immediately and took some extra steps to help with that. She also ensured our dog had her eyedrops regularly, and ensured there was lots of play time! Our dog seemed to really love spending time with her! Anna also left our apartment in great condition. Would absolutely book her again.”

“Nikki is amazing! Professional, experienced, kind, communicative, and most importantly, excellent with our dog. She watched our dog in our home and made sure he was well taken care of while we were away. I'd highly recommend her services!”

“Zakiya is a wonderful doggy caregiver. She house sat for my elderly dog while I was away for work, and provided thorough and thoughtful care for my dog who was unfortunately stressed due to her humans being away. I will definitely hire her again.”

About: Hi my name is Mollie! I was born and raised in Bozeman, Mt. so I love the outdoors and being around animals. I've lived in LA for 12 years and loving it every day. I live in a great neighborhood that is also dog friendly(I live in a town house so if your dog is t good with stairs). I'm clean, respectful and have a mellow temperament. For fun I like to be with friend, play at the beach, read, cook and seek out new activities in LA. I'm good with most breeds and ages of dogs. I grew up with golden retrievers, american eskimos, black cat and a tabby. I'm happy to take long walk with your dog or go to dog parks. Feel free to ask me any questions. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I currently have a very flexible schedule and plenty of availability throughout the week. Since I’m not working another job right now, I’m able to give pets consistent attention, stick closely to their routines, and accommodate different feeding, walking, playtime, or medication schedules. I enjoy spending time with animals, so caring for them is something I genuinely look forward to and can prioritize throughout the day. I provide calm, attentive, and personalized care based on each pet’s routine and personality. In my client’s home, I focus on keeping pets comfortable in their familiar environment by following feeding schedules, refreshing water, cleaning litter boxes, giving medications if needed, and spending quality time playing, cuddling, or simply keeping them company. I also make sure the home stays clean and secure and provide regular photo and message updates for peace of mind.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - View Park-Windsor Hills
Paula did a wonderful job taking care of our dog and cat. She followed our very detailed instructions, especially for caring for our cat with health problems and who has a habit of ingesting foreign objects. She sent tons of photos and responded promptly to our messages. When we came back, the house was clean and the pets were happy. We’d definitely hire her again!

Ashton was so great with my dog and a super respectful houseguest as well. She gave updates throughout the stay with lots of great pictures and a level of detail that makes clear she pays attention to all your notes and cares deeply that your pet has a great experience. She’s very responsive and reliable; just exceptional. Lenny was happy and relaxed when I got him - 10/10 will book again 💕

Christine took the time to get to know our dogs and know us. She listened to us and followed and applied all the tricks and usual plan we had for our babies. She walked them and snuggled with them, knowing that they needed lots of loving. Christine sent several updates and pics daily which was greatly appreciated. She cared for our property and the house was in great shape when we got back. I highly recommend Christine.
Anna is very kind, loving, sweet and overall the best pet sitter you can ask for. She really cares for your pets with love. I had to leave her with two sick and one wild cat, and they all adored her and she communicated their conditions every now and then and able to take her to the vet before the condition got worse. She left the house clean and she is definitely coming back to my house and to my pets anytime! I highly recommend Anna but also selfishly I dont want her to get too busy and not have time for my cats next time! 😭 We just love her too much!

This is our second time having Raymond watch Frankie, and he continues to exceed our expectations. He was fantastic about sending regular photos and updates, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It was clear Frankie was happy, comfortable, and in great hands the entire time. Beyond being wonderful with animals, he’s an incredibly polite and respectful houseguest — he treated our home with real care. We always feel completely at ease having him here. We’ll absolutely be calling him again and would recommend him without hesitation to anyone looking for a trustworthy, attentive dog sitter!

Amber did great with our 2 dogs. This was our first time having an in home sitter from an app so we were very nervous. One of our dogs is very anxious and vocal. She took her time to do a little bit of training with him. That was very much appreciated. We would book her again.

Ariana was fantastic. I needed a sitter for a long day so I could celebrate the life of my late mother. When Ariana walked in the door she had such a pleasant demeanor and energy, I knew my mom's baby Ginger was in good caring hands. Indeed she was. Ariana took great care of her.

I had a last minute family emergency and needed a sitter within 24 hours, Emily had watched my dog Buddy before and was so kind to watch her without much of a notice! Emily will make sure your pets are in good hands, will definitely be reaching out again for my next trip. Highly recommend!!!

Frequently asked questions about Rover
The average cost for House Sitting in View Park-Windsor Hills on Rover is $49.95 per night (as of June 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred View Park-Windsor Hills walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in View Park-Windsor Hills maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in View Park-Windsor Hills choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
