About: Lewis has over 12 years of pet sitting experience. He house sits for 4 clients, seeing 7 dogs on a regular basis. He has grown up with dogs since age 5, cats since he was born. Lewis has served in roles ranging from youth Alpine Ski Racing Coach to Internet Technology Manager. A Mammoth Mountain and automotive enthusiast, Lewis takes his family’s dogs all over North America (Winter Park, Crystal Mountain, Sun Peaks Canada) he brings a unique eye to every interaction. His passion in Los Angeles athletic training as a former cycling instructor and [SolidCore] coach reflects a philosophy of working with animals to keep them healthy and exercised. One or more outdoor sessions per day, routine focused while remaining open to an extra step. That same instinct extends to his communication style with owners: direct, thoughtful, detail oriented care, chosen so their pet is as happy with him as they are at home. As a student, I’m unavailable in the early mornings. I am available mid day, afternoons, and evenings. I offer dog walking, house sitting, and drop ins. Outdoor time and one on one attention remain the focus of all interactions. Regarding early morning-over night pet sitting: I am available to clients who are okay with and can be left home alone from 6am to 11am Every client deserves an individualized plan, not a formula. This includes communication in advance regarding medication(s), walk route, walk duration/type, food amounts and prep, house setup, and preferences. As a baseline: no food or sharp objects will ever be left out.

About: I’ve grown up my entire life with Dogs ranging in size from Chihuahua to black lab, including puppies to senior dogs. If I could have a dog of my own, I would, but given my strict pet policy, I will gladly take the alternative, which is watching someone else’s. I work fully remote, so pet sitting fits my schedule pretty easily. I do ask for advance notice, but I am an extremely active individual and love all animals. I treat pets that I sit as if they were my own. I love giving affection to animals and going on walks and spending as much time as I can showing them as much love as they show us

About: I’ve cared for my friends & family's dogs over the years, helping with walks, feeding, and playtime whenever they needed help. I may be new to Rover, but I’m very comfortable around dogs of all sizes. I take time to get to know each dog’s personality and follow their usual routine to make sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for. I currently work part-time, which gives me plenty of flexibility to care for dogs throughout the week. I’m available for walks and drop-ins most weekdays, as well as weekends for boarding or extended care. I love spending time outdoors, so incorporating dog walks into my day is something I truly enjoy! I live in a clean, pet friendly two bedroom apartment with a secure cement balcony that offers fresh air and outdoor space for short breaks. I make sure every pet feels safe and comfortable indoors, and I’m attentive to their needs during walks or visits. I always follow owners’ routines closely and treat every dog with the same care and attention I’d give my own.

Monica is an absolute gem! I haven't left my dogs with a non-family member since before Covid, and I was so nervous to go out of town and leave them with a "stranger." You can absolutely trust Monica with the care of your pets. She provided daily updates and pictures and communication was great. My dogs typically don't have much of an appetite when I'm out of town, so seeing pictures of them eating and coming home to empty bowls shows me how comfortable they were with Monica. She even tidied up the house before leaving. I highly recommend!

About: Dogs have always been a part of my life. When I didn’t have my own, I always took care of my friends and family dogs. I have always had a special relationship with each individual pup, and I would love to get to know all the quirks and needs of your precious dog(s). My family’s dog is named Cali, and she is truly my best friend. She is in New York now, so I cannot see her as much and am needing some doggy attention from others in the mean time. I know what it is like to feel nerves leaving your dog and making sure they feel safe and happy, and I hope to create that same environment for your dog. I am a post college graduate who majored in social work, and I have always had a need to care for others. My most recent experience is spending the past two months house sitting for 3 amazing dogs. One was elderly and the others were two big puppies. I hope to continue this summer having fun with new fluffy friends and making sure you can enjoy any vacation, obligations, or other activities knowing your loved ones are in good hands. I am currently doing a gap year before I head to do my master’s degree in New York City. That means I have loads of flexible time to perform pet care and work on your time! I expect to know at least 3 days before. Making sure pets are understood and supported is my biggest priority. Being in a new environment or with a new person is scary and overwhelming. It’s important for me to understand their needs and big feelings before putting them in different situations. I treat everyone’s dog like my own-meaning loads to attention, cuddles, playtime, walks, talks, and treats. It’s important for dogs to not just be taken care of at the bare minimum-but to be enriched, active, and engaged when I am around.

About: Between my partner and I, we’ve been watching pups for over a decade separately and together. Our furry visitors love coming to visit our home, full of cuddles, adventurous walks, warm baths and the beloved pet couch. Our screened in porch ensures 24/7 fresh air and sun without the critters. It’s a holy grail of a stay. Depending on your pups schedule, we can easily fit them into our already active schedule of 3-4 walks a day (the first between 7-10 and the last between 9-10). Working from home allows quality attention and regular monitoring. We're a routine but easy going household, we understand flexibility is needed. Your pup is welcomed throughout the home with us (the kitchen and bathrooms will remain blocked throughout a visit). Crate trained or not, your pup is welcomed to rest on our pet couch, located in our bedroom (we understand separation can be hard and being near a human can help). Depending on your pups feeding schedule (schedule or grazing), we will work with you to make sure they are fed, full, and pooping.

About: Hi! I'm a reliable and caring pet lover with over ten years of experience looking after dogs and cats. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, whether that means going for walks, playing fetch, cuddling on the couch, or simply keeping them company. I'm also happy caring for cats and love getting to know each pet's unique personality and routine. I work remotely as a grant writer for nonprofit arts organizations, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to spend plenty of quality time with the pets in my care. I'm passionate about making and experiencing art, and I bring the same creativity, attention to detail, and responsibility to pet sitting. When I'm not writing or creating art, you can usually find me spending time with friends, practicing yoga, or baking. I'm excited to provide your pets with loving companionship and attentive care while giving you peace of mind that your home and furry family members are in good hands. As a remote grant writer, I have the flexibility to provide pets with plenty of attention throughout the day. Spending time with pets is genuinely one of my favorite parts of life. I provide attentive, personalized care based on each pet's routine and needs. In a client's home, I aim to keep pets comfortable by maintaining their normal schedule for feeding, walks, playtime, medication (if needed), and plenty of affection. I understand that consistency helps pets feel secure while their owners are away, so I follow all care instructions carefully and keep owners updated with regular messages and photos. When caring for pets, I make sure they receive plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, and companionship. For dogs, that may include walks, playtime, and outdoor breaks. For cats, I enjoy interactive play, enrichment activities, and quiet companionship on their terms. I also treat every home with respect, keeping things clean and secure while providing reliable, responsible care for both pets and property.

Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply sticking to their normal schedule, I’ll make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I enjoy staying active, so walks and outdoor play are always something I look forward to, and I’ll send plenty of photo updates so you can feel confident your pet is in good hands. f I could give Scott more than 5 stars, I would! We were away on an 18-day international trip, leaving our 13-year-old senior dog, Dexter, in Scott's care. He exceeded every expectation and gave us complete peace of mind. During our trip, Dexter experienced a seizure and wasn't feeling well for a couple of days. At the same time, our neighborhood was impacted by the West Hollywood water main break, with water rushing down the street just feet from our building. Through it all, Scott remained calm, compassionate, and in complete control. He cared for Dexter exactly as we would have and kept us updated with consistent communication, photos, and videos. When our flight home was delayed in New York by more than three hours, Scott immediately offered to extend his stay for as long as needed to ensure Dexter was never left alone. That kindness and flexibility meant so much to us. Scott also took wonderful care of our home and was the perfect house guest. It's clear he genuinely loves animals and treats them like family. We came home to a happy Dexter and a spotless home. We wholeheartedly recommend Scott to anyone looking for a trustworthy, compassionate, and dependable pet sitter. We will absolutely be booking with him again. Thank you, Scott, for taking such incredible care of Dexter!

Madison was really amazing at carting for our two pups while we went out of town for the weekend. We have a 2 year old Aussie who needs a lot of playful attention and a 14 year old señor pup who just wants some company around. Very different personalities and Madison was very attentive and caring. She followed the instructions we provided her and kept us updated through the day by sending us pup photos and playtime outside. Most importantly she took care of our home while we were away and was very respectful. We will be booking her again and recommend her to other doggy families out there. Thank you Madison!

Anna stayed at my home with my golden girl. Aurora over the 4th weekend. Aurora warmed up to her immediately, even cuddling on the couch and bed with her! It was my first time not having a friend watch my pup while I was out of town so I was a little nervous, but Anna sent a bunch of pictures (btw she’s also a great photographer) of them having a great time together and it really put me at ease. Her communication was great, she was very timely and I appreciated her coming to meet Aurora and get a tour of the house before I headed out of town. I genuinely did hours of research and reading reviews as a first time Rover user and Anna’s profile really stood out to me, I understand why she has so many repeat clients and wonderful reviews! She also left the house in a beautiful condition which I really appreciated after driving back from a roadtrip to a nice, clean house. I would love to have Anna back to watch Aurora anytime she needs care as I know she was in great hands and very loved while I was away!

I can’t recommend Jason enough! He housesat for a couple of overnight stays while I was in Palm Springs, and he took absolute elite care of my dog, my precious and feisty girl Jolene. She had the best time with him! you could tell she was happy, relaxed, and well cared for the whole time I was gone. What really stood out was how far he went beyond the basics. He kept my home tidy and comfortable the entire stay, so coming home felt just as good as leaving..no stress, just a HAPPY dog and a clean house. That kind of thoughtfulness and respect for someone else’s space says a lot about his character. Honestly, the peace of mind Jason gave me while I was away was priceless. I never once worried about Jolene or my home. I trust him completely and will absolutely be booking Jason again for Jolene. FAQs for House Sitting - Beverly Hills

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for House Sitting in Beverly Hills on Rover is $67.41 per night (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of July 2026, there are 13,864 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Beverly Hills. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:

  • Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
  • Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
  • Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
  • Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.

The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Beverly Hills walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.

It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Beverly Hills maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:

  • Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
  • Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
  • Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.

Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Beverly Hills choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Beverly Hills. On Rover:

  • 90% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 94% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 97% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
