About: I'm incredibly responsible and have a deep, lifelong love for animals. I cared for my dog for 16 years and my cat for 18, both well into their senior years. My dog recently passed, and I miss him every day. Joining Rover felt like a natural next step, as I'm not quite ready to get another dog of my own. I have hands-on experience with senior pet care, kidney disease management, and the administration of subcutaneous fluids. I also volunteer at a farm sanctuary. My office is in the Arts District, so I can walk dogs in the neighborhood before/after work and on my lunch break. For pet sitting I can work remotely from your home, or bring your dog to work with me if they prefer a change of scenery. I'm extremely responsible and will make sure your instructions are followed. I've spent over 10 years caring for animals, including 16 years with my own dog and 18 years with my cat, both of whom have since passed. Through caring for my dog, I gained hands-on experience with senior pet care, kidney disease management, and administering subcutaneous fluids. I've used Rover myself when traveling, so I know firsthand how hard it is to find the right sitter and how much trust you're placing in someone. I take that seriously. Whether I'm walking your dog, sitting in your home, or bringing them to my office, your pet's safety and comfort will be my top priority. I'm new to Rover, but happy to supply personal and professional references.
“Alejandra made herself available at the last minute when our previous pet sitter had just canceled. She was very responsive with us and patient with Stitch, thank you again!”

“Lulu took great care of Midas and my place while I was away for the weekend! She even took time to do a meet and greet prior to booking! She was extremely flexible with me and left my place spotless! I would definitely reach out to Lulu in the future!”

“Arlondriah was amazing with Johnny! He is a bit skiddish and requires insulin injections for his diabetes, and she pulled it off like a rock star. Can't wait to use her again :)”

“It was great to have Chelsea here with our pets. We have a cat and a great big dog. Our dog is very territorial and does not like new people in the house. Chelsea was willing to come to visit twice before her stay to help acclimate him. We were gone for a week and it went really well. She checked in and sent us pictures every day and left the house looking great. Highly recommend!”

“Cassandra was an excellent dog/house sitter. Great communicator and extremely clean. We have two larger bulldogs and she walked them separately before she walked them together. She also made sure to understand their medication schedule. The dogs would definitely want to have her back and so would we!”

“Gaby was amazing! Great communication, so kind, and sent lots of updates and photos. I returned to a relaxed and happy dog and a very clean apartment which is always appreciated 😊 Would highly recommend - thank you for everything Gaby!”

“Ginger housesat and watched my dog for the weekend. She was extremely patient with my dog and left the house spotless. Her level of communication and care is unmatched!”

“She took great care of Mila while I was away. Mila just had back surgery a few months ago and she moves slowly. I felt at ease with Emma watching her. Super grateful for her care!”

“Thank you Alexandra. Due to the need for medications, we just haven’t felt comfortable leaving our pups for that past 12 months. We were finally able to go away for 4 days, enjoy our trip and relax knowing you had it all handled. We came home to happy and well-cared for dogs. They loved you! I think they already miss you. :) Thank you for the care, communication, and expertise. See you soon! 🐾🐾🐾🐾”

“Taylor was absolutely incredible with our gang!! He managed to sway the love of one that wasn’t a happy boy that we left. Lots of updates of their day and photos which we loved! The biggest thing for us, was that they were all so calm when we got home (like we never left) so we know they were all well taken care of! Thank you so so so much and will definitely be in touch soon for the next stay!”

“Once again, Jennifer took excellent care of my kittens! They were happy and healthy when I got home and the house looked just as clean as when I left! There were some tech issues and Jennifer was able to look into them for me and get them sorted so all of the automated cat gear could continue to function.”

“We’re hooked! Aolani is an amazing asset to the Rover community. She took phenomenal care of our lil old guy who is 18 years old and has a host of aging dog ailments. Non of that stopped Aolani from providing exceptional, loving care. She truly put my heart and mind at ease while I was away on a trip. I could totally see the light and life in my dogs eyes via the update pictures sent, as a result of him spending quality time with her. I highly recommend Aolani! She is a beautiful spirit with a big, kind, honest heart, and any animal would be blessed to be in her care. Enjoy! 💛”

Kansas took great care of Teddy during the five days I was gone for and went above and beyond than what I requested; I could tell Teddy really appreciated it as did I! She was also great about sending updates, and I felt at ease knowing that Teddy loved spending time with Kansas.

Mary was an absolute gem! She swooped in last minute for a house stay with my dog Rocco. He loved her the second she stepped in the door and she took incredible care of him. Would absolutely use her again. She was communicative, thorough and clearly has an innate kindness that animals can immediately sense!

I recently had the pleasure of having Kai take care of our pets and home for nearly a week, and I can't recommend her enough! From the start, she was attentive and caring, providing daily updates that reassured us about how our pets were doing. It was clear they were well-loved, as they were happy and healthy, having formed a lovely bond with her. Kai also respected our home, leaving it in immaculate condition. Overall, she exceeded our expectations in every way, and we are incredibly grateful for her help. If you're looking for someone reliable, kind, and dedicated, look no further, Kai is truly wonderful!
Tracy was so great with Bentley! I always get a little nervous leaving him when I’m away, but I felt completely at ease knowing she was taking care of him. She was so sweet and attentive with him, and I loved getting updates while I was gone. Bentley seemed so happy and comfortable when I got home, which says a lot! I’m so grateful to have someone I trust to look after him and would definitely have Tracy watch him again.

Dani always takes wonderful care of my animals, and I feel like I can actually relax when I travel because of the quality of care provided. She’s very attentive and easy to work with, and it’s obvious that she really loves animals and cares about doing right by them.

Johnny was such a thoughtful caretaker of both our dog and our home. We got some of the best pictures of our dog ever from the visit, and it's clear they had a ton of great play time. He was communicative throughout his visit, and left our home in perfect condition.

Anna was amazing! She took excellent care of my 8mo old australian shepherd puppy! I really felt like she was caring for my pet as if it was her own. Anna followed directions to the T, and provided picture updates. This was my first vacation away from my puppy, and I felt relieved knowing she was in excellent and caring hands. I could not recommend Anna enough! Thank you so much Anna!

I can't recommend Genki enough! I needed a dog sitter at the last minute because I had to leave town unexpectedly, and he came through without hesitation. My dogs are very selective about who they like, but they absolutely love Genki. Knowing they were happy, comfortable, and well cared for gave me complete peace of mind. I'll definitely be booking with him again!

Fiona is a wonderful dogsitter. She truly understands dogs and their language. She listens to Minga's signals and responds accordingly. Our girl Minga is very picky about who she likes and takes a long time to warm up to people, but she really loves Fiona. And after only a day or two, is letting Fiona pet her and is even giving her kisses. Highly recommend Fiona as a caring, conscientious caretaker.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
The average cost for House Sitting in Beverly Hills on Rover is $64.38 per night (as of August 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.
Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .
As of August 2026, there are 13,621 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Beverly Hills. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Beverly Hills walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Beverly Hills maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Beverly Hills choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Beverly Hills. On Rover:
- 90% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 94% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 97% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
