“Emily was amazing! It was our first time since moving to LA last summer having a pet sitter and we were gone for almost two weeks but Emily was so kind and communicative and left us at ease knowing our baby was safe and happy while we were away sending photos and updates along the way! Would definitely hire again 🩷”

“Natalie was great with my two dogs! She was very communicative and would check in frequently with updates and pictures. My dogs warmed up to her quickly and seems like they had a great weekend with her! I’ll definitely be asking Natalie back to watch my dogs whenever I’m out of town, would recommend her to any dog parent looking for a sitter!”

About: I've both owned and fostered cats, and I work from home. I'm happy to come over between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. to spend time with your kitty! I'm self-employed and work from home, so I'm very flexible. I'm happy to come over between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. to spend time with your cat! I'm happy to send photo and video updates of your cat and have a meet and greet with you. I also reply to messages promptly.
About: I've been a dog owner since I was about 7 years old. I had a husky mix growing up, a very active dog all black with a curly tail I'd walk regularly and keep active. I now have two small breed dogs. A chihuahua mix named Brownie that's just 8 lbs, rescued in 2015 and I have a Rat Terrier named Taco and he was rescued in March 2020, he's about 15 lbs. All their shots are up to date and they are neutered. I am an active runner/walker and I enjoy taking my dogs out for walks regularly/daily. I take them out for about 1 mile or more if we're going out on trails or more adventures. I've traveled with my dogs by plane and by car. I'm very comfortable with dogs! Love spending time with them. I've walked my dogs and others dogs now for years. I have a two active pups to play with should they wish but otherwise they're welcome to play and have fun how they wish. I love to let them have fun.
“Yuliia stayed with Rosie for 2 weeks while I was out of town. She was absolutely fantastic. Rosie got lots of walks, spent many nights relaxing on the couch with Yuliia and we got lots of pictures. She also left the house cleaner than I think it was when I left. I would absolutely recommend her for anyone looking for a sitter.”

“Iris is an absolute delight! Our dog is a handful and Iris came and stayed with him at our house for four days and gave us complete peace of mind to enjoy our trip. She asked lots of questions about his routine and made sure to follow what worked for him -- and we came home to a happy, calm dog. Will definitely be booking again and can't recommend Iris enough.”

“Christian went out of his way to meet us in person before we booked with him. He has always showed up on time and is great with our dogs. we’ve always had a positive experience and trust him with our dogs and our home.”

“Lauren did an incredible job house sitting for my dog and two cats! They all love her and she made sure to keep me updated throughout the stay and thoroughly followed all instructions that I left for her. She also went above and beyond in making sure my place was in great condition before leaving”

“My dog seemed happy and healthy when we returned after 2.5 weeks. House was clean and tidy too. Michael seems nice and responsible, and is accommodating. I'd definitely recommend him.”

“Mary watched our aging little dog over Christmas. Our dog has anxiety with lots of triggers, and also takes many meds and bathroom breaks due to her heart condition. Mary followed all directions and loved on her a lot! She was very communicative, sending us lots of videos where our girl looked so happy and relaxed. Mary has such a caring and calm energy, I think our dog instantly vibed with her from the initial meet and greet. We felt secure leaving the country with Mary watching our house and our girl, we would book her again in the future!”

“Sydney is wonderful. Our dog is high maintenance and takes medications 4 Times a day. She stays right on schedule and sends lots of updates and pics. I didn’t worry about my Lucy at all.”

About: Like most sitters I grew up with pets! I had a beautiful Labrador Retriever named Polly pictured above. I love spending time with animals, and I work from home so pet sitting is ideal for me, my clients, and the animals I care for. My schedule is also very flexible because I work from home, I can pet sit almost all hours of the day. I work from home so I can watch your pets pretty much all day. I also only cover a small area so you can be sure that I'm no more than 20 minutes away if there's any urgent needs. I'm not able to care for pets in my home due to my apartment restrictions. However, I am able to do over night visits, day visits, short visits, etc. I can sit and play with your pets all day, and administer medication if needed as I have experience with this as well. The one area I do not have experience in is injections.
“I can’t recommend Gabby enough! She was incredibly communicative and sent lots of the cutest pics. My dog is working on leash reactivity and Gabby was great at working with her and continuing her daily practice on walks. My dog is obsessed with her. I’ll definitely be booking with her in the future.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Beverly Hills
We have used Katy several times now, and she is always fantastic. Our dog really enjoys spending time with her. I find her very trustworthy, great at communicating, takes wonderful care of our home, and she sends the best photos of our dog so we can see how happy she is being able to stay home instead of going to a kennel. I highly recommend Katy!

Laura is wonderful! She stayed at our house with our 14 year old dog while we were on vacation for almost two weeks. She took amazing care of our special guy and kept us updated everyday. She was also incredibly respectful of our space. We will absolutely use her services in the future.

Christian was such a delight and so sweet to our silly little crew of pets. Our two cats and elderly dog are definitely a bit high-maintenance, but Christian handled every step of our embarrassingly long list of directions perfectly and with so much care. Also, I’m a major clean freak (have had issues with other Rovers in the past being messy) but I was so happy to come back to see that Christian was super considerate in that department too and kept things tidy. We’ll definitely book him again the next time we’re out of town!
Valeriya kept my four big dogs for five days and she did an amazing job! My dogs range from age 3 1/2 to 14 years old. Each dog has a very different personality and Valeriya handled each one perfectly. There were eye drops and various medication that two of the dogs needed multiple times a day. She understood and kept them healthy and safe. I would highly recommend Valeriya to take care of your dogs. She also loves kitties. Two of my dogs followed Valeriya around all day. She's a dog whisperer! Don't pass her by let Valeriya take care of your fur babies. I'll be using her again!

Amber was absolutely amazing! We felt so at ease knowing Lucy was in such great hands while we were away. She took such wonderful care of her and was incredibly thoughtful, attentive, and communicative throughout our trip. She also took amazing care of our home and left everything spotless. It’s such a relief to have someone you completely trust with both your dog and your home. We came back to a very happy Lucy and a perfectly cared-for house. We couldn’t recommend Amber more and will absolutely be reaching out to her again! ❤️

Genki is fantastic! He watched my two dogs while I went out of town and when I came back I was extremely impressed. My pups were happy and he left my place very clean! I never once worried because Genki would send photos and keep me updated on how my babies were doing. I hope to be a repeat client of his!

Ali stayed with my anxious cat twice and did such a great job following my (excessive) instructions. She calmed him down through a stressful reaction to me leaving, and also followed an enrichment schedule, played with him, gave him his inhaler and anxiety meds on a schedule. I came home to a very happy well-cared for kitty. I’m grateful for Ali taking such good care of him and will definitely be booking her again!

April took wonderful care of my Bernese Mountain Dog, Louie, for 5 nights while I was away in Jamaica. She sent regular photo and video updates throughout the stay, which gave me so much peace of mind while traveling. We came home to a clean, well-kept house and a happy, relaxed dog. Highly recommend her — she’s reliable, communicative, and clearly loves animals. We’ll definitely book her again!

Andriana and Adam were a total dream! We feel so lucky to have found them. They’re newer to the platform, but from the very beginning they were warm, thoughtful, communicative, and clearly wonderful with dogs. They were punctual for our meet-and-greet, asked great questions, and really took the time to understand our girls’ routines, personalities and little quirks. They’re used to raising and training bigger dogs, but were incredibly gentle with our two little ones. Foxy can be sensitive with new people and took to them almost immediately, which made me feel so comfortable. Andriana listened so attentively while I talked through everything, while Adam patiently sat and let the dogs come over, inspect him, and get comfortable at their own pace. It’s always a little hard leaving your dogs with new people, but once I left, I felt completely at ease. While we were away, they sent the cutest photos and updates, followed all of our feeding, walking, and house instructions, and clearly spent time actually getting to know the dogs. Adam even got curious about Foxy’s breed mix, did some research, and sent me what he found, which was so fun and sweet. Nothing unexpected came up during the stay, but after getting to know Andriana and Adam, I have no doubt they would have handled anything calmly and capably. They also took amazing care of our home. Everything was exactly as we left it, and they even washed the towels and duvet cover for us, which was completely unnecessary but so thoughtful. Adam is also an artist and surprised us with a painting of our front porch, a space I love, which I’ll absolutely be framing. It was such a personal and generous gesture and really captured the kind of care they brought to the whole stay. We came home to two very happy, relaxed pups and a perfectly cared-for house. I would welcome them back in a heartbeat and recommend them without hesitation. They’re kind, responsible, attentive people who genuinely love animals, and any pet would be lucky to have them! They were kind, responsible, attentive, and an absolute pleasure to have here.

Anna was fantastic. Our pup can be a little nervous with new people, and this was our first time leaving her with someone from Rover. Anna was amazing about communicating, updating us about how she was doing and Marina ended up cuddling with her all night. Thankful our first experience went so well!

Frequently asked questions about Rover
The average cost for House Sitting in Beverly Hills on Rover is $64.66 per night (as of September 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.
Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .
As of September 2026, there are 13,731 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Beverly Hills. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Beverly Hills walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Beverly Hills maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Beverly Hills choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Beverly Hills. On Rover:
- 90% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 94% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 97% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
