Regarding early morning-over night pet sitting: I am available to clients who are okay with and can be left home alone from 6am to 11am Every client deserves an individualized plan, not a formula. This includes communication in advance regarding medication(s), walk route, walk duration/type, food amounts and prep, house setup, and preferences. As a baseline: no food or sharp objects will ever be left out.

About: I’ve grown up my entire life with Dogs ranging in size from Chihuahua to black lab, including puppies to senior dogs. If I could have a dog of my own, I would, but given my strict pet policy, I will gladly take the alternative, which is watching someone else’s. I work fully remote, so pet sitting fits my schedule pretty easily. I do ask for advance notice, but I am an extremely active individual and love all animals. About: I’ve cared for my friends & family's dogs over the years, helping with walks, feeding, and playtime whenever they needed help. I may be new to Rover, but I’m very comfortable around dogs of all sizes. I take time to get to know each dog’s personality and follow their usual routine to make sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for. I currently work part-time, which gives me plenty of flexibility to care for dogs throughout the week. I’m available for walks and drop-ins most weekdays, as well as weekends for boarding or extended care. I love spending time outdoors, so incorporating dog walks into my day is something I truly enjoy! My dogs typically don't have much of an appetite when I'm out of town, so seeing pictures of them eating and coming home to empty bowls shows me how comfortable they were with Monica. About: Dogs have always been a part of my life. When I didn’t have my own, I always took care of my friends and family dogs. I have always had a special relationship with each individual pup, and I would love to get to know all the quirks and needs of your precious dog(s). My family’s dog is named Cali, and she is truly my best friend. She is in New York now, so I cannot see her as much and am needing some doggy attention from others in the mean time. I know what it is like to feel nerves leaving your dog and making sure they feel safe and happy, and I hope to create that same environment for your dog. I am a post college graduate who majored in social work, and I have always had a need to care for others. My most recent experience is spending the past two months house sitting for 3 amazing dogs. One was elderly and the others were two big puppies. I hope to continue this summer having fun with new fluffy friends and making sure you can enjoy any vacation, obligations, or other activities knowing your loved ones are in good hands. I am currently doing a gap year before I head to do my master’s degree in New York City. That means I have loads of flexible time to perform pet care and work on your time! I expect to know at least 3 days before. Making sure pets are understood and supported is my biggest priority. Being in a new environment or with a new person is scary and overwhelming. It’s important for me to understand their needs and big feelings before putting them in different situations. About: Between my partner and I, we’ve been watching pups for over a decade separately and together. Our furry visitors love coming to visit our home, full of cuddles, adventurous walks, warm baths and the beloved pet couch. Our screened in porch ensures 24/7 fresh air and sun without the critters. It’s a holy grail of a stay. Depending on your pups schedule, we can easily fit them into our already active schedule of 3-4 walks a day (the first between 7-10 and the last between 9-10). Working from home allows quality attention and regular monitoring. We're a routine but easy going household, we understand flexibility is needed. Your pup is welcomed throughout the home with us (the kitchen and bathrooms will remain blocked throughout a visit). Crate trained or not, your pup is welcomed to rest on our pet couch, located in our bedroom (we understand separation can be hard and being near a human can help). Depending on your pups feeding schedule (schedule or grazing), we will work with you to make sure they are fed, full, and pooping.
