About: I truly enjoy spending time with dogs and caring for them with patience, warmth, and attention. I have several years of hands-on experience with dogs, including experience as a dog owner, caring for other people’s dogs, and caring for a puppy. I’m also comfortable giving medications when needed. I understand that every dog is different and has their own routine, personality, and comfort level. I always do my best to make dogs feel safe, calm, and cared for through loving attention, consistency, and gentle care. I currently have a flexible schedule, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time, attention, and care to the pets I look after. I’m available for walks, drop-in visits and pet sitting, and I do my best to keep each pet on their usual routine so they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I believe it’s very important to follow each owner’s instructions, routines, and usual way of caring for their dog. I’m very attentive to those details because they help pets feel safe, relaxed, and comfortable. I want each dog to feel not only well cared for, but also to have a sense of familiarity and home-like comfort while you’re away.
About: I’ve taken care of large and small dogs since I was in high school, including many of my nanny families’ dogs over the years. I currently don’t have a dog of my own in Venice, and have a flexible remote job, which gives me the opportunity to fulfill my animal serotonin fix by helping others care for their pets as if they were my own! I’m currently working a remote job that is pretty slow in the summer, as well as a pretty free weekend schedule, so I’m interested in helping pet owners as much as I can this summer and beyond. I can care for your pets in your home just as you would if you were there, tending to their personalized needs and routines. As for jobs where your pet would be coming to my home, I live in a townhouse with two levels, giving ample space in non-bedroom living quarters for your pets. I also have a fenced in yard in front of my building for play, as well as close proximity to parks and the beach for walks and exercise! Melia was wonderful. She had good communication with me throughout the duration of her time house sitting and watching my cat. She also understood how to properly care for a cat who is more shy and takes time to get comfortable around new people. Melia was able to get my cat to come out and play, which several cat sitters had a hard time doing. I would definitely recommend Melia.

I cannot recommend Jillian highly enough. I have two cats, Oliver and Bowie, and I recently had to leave town shortly after Oliver was diagnosed with megacolon. When your pet is dealing with health issues, trust becomes everything. Jillian earned mine completely. When we returned, our home was spotless and thoughtfully cared for. She even washed the sheets and emptied the dishwasher, which was so appreciated after a difficult trip.
