Pet care experience

Calm, Caring, Experienced Pro

I’ve cared for pets both professionally and personally for many years, and I truly love getting to know each pupper‘s unique personality. My background includes working at a veterinary office as a kennel attendant and at Petco with small animals, along with long-term pet sitting for families, friends, and coworkers. My goal is always to make sure your pup feels safe, comfortable, and genuinely happy while you’re away 🤍 Pet parents have described me as calm, caring, and very communicative, and I take that trust seriously! 🏡 Your Pup’s Stay Your doggo will enjoy a safe, enclosed gated front yard for supervised outdoor time, plus relaxed walks and fresh air based on their comfort level and energy. For boarding, I live near the beach, which makes easy strolls and great sniffing opportunities part of our routine 🌊🐕 I specialize in small to medium dogs, which allows me to offer plenty of individualized attention, consistency, and a calm home environment. I’ve also cared for cats 🐈 🐈‍⬛ both house sitting and boarding. I prefer house sitting for the comfort of your kitty - they do better in their own home space, although I know that may not always be possible. 📸 Care & Communication I’m very hands-on and love keeping pet parents in the loop with daily updates, photos, and videos. Whether your pup enjoys long walks, playtime, or cozy cuddle breaks, I tailor each stay to their needs and personality. Safety, supervision, and clear communication are always my top priorities. 💛 Additional Experience I also have experience caring for senior dogs and pups with special needs, including medication administration (oral meds, insulin), mobility support, and providing calm reassurance for dogs who may need a little extra patience. I’m always happy to chat in advance and do a meet and greet to make sure we’re a good fit and that your pup (or kitty) feels comfortable and well supported during their stay.

Ravioli had the best ten day vacation with Laura! From beach walks to exploring local coffee shops and playing with Laura, he had a blast. Laura communicated regularly and shared detailed updates and photos which made for a stress free trip for us. We’ll definitely be repeat clients!

Laura was great to work with. I brought my dog by a couple times to get used to her and her place. Laura was very experienced and she clearly loves and gets animals.

Schedule

I work from home as a Project Manager just steps from the beach, so your pup will enjoy plenty of fresh air, walks, and exercise along the boardwalk. Outside of occasional nearby social plans or workouts, I’m home and available to give your pet lots of attention and care throughout the day.

Safety, trust & environment

Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priority. My home has a fully fenced, gated yard where your pup can safely explore and take potty breaks under my supervision. In addition to safe yard time, I schedule walks as often as your pet needs, with plenty of fresh air and space thanks to my close proximity to the beach. I follow any specific care instructions you provide to ensure your pet stays comfortable, active, and as relaxed as possible while you’re away. I know being in a new space can sometimes be stressful for pets, so I work to create a calm, consistent environment that helps them settle in and feel secure. And of course, when it’s time for pickup, they’re always excited to see you again!

A typical day

With the beach just steps away, your pup will enjoy plenty of fresh air and fun walks along the boardwalk or through the neighborhood. There’s even a nearby dog park for extra playtime, depending on your dog’s needs. We might run into my neighbor’s friendly Blue Heeler, Blu, who loves to say hello, but if your dog prefers solo walks, I’ll always respect their comfort and make sure we avoid interactions. At home, your dog can safely explore our fully fenced, supervised front yard for fresh air and potty breaks between walks. Whether your pup loves activity or just relaxing, I always adjust to their energy level and routine to help them feel happy and secure while you’re away.

Please share any special needs or preferences your pet has so I can provide the best care possible. I have experience administering oral medications and insulin, and I’m always happy to learn any tips or routines that help your pet feel more comfortable. Whether your dog enjoys playing in the water, prefers quiet time, gets nervous around other dogs, or has separation anxiety, I’ll gladly adapt to their needs to help them feel safe, happy, and cared for. I know how much your pets mean to you, and I’ll treat them with the same care, attention, and love they’re used to at home.
