“Rossana did a wonderful job watching out kitty while we were away. Not only is she always on time, she cared for our kitty and made sure he was fed and had plenty of treats ♥️”

“Rachel absolutely rocks!!!!! While I love my cat she can be difficult at times to say the least with anyone but me. Plus she requires medicine every 12 hours and is 15 years old. First trip in a few years and honestly thought it would be a train wreck but then I found Rachel….. Super responsive, consistent, and I could tell she picked up on how important my little feline was to me. Food, water, litter box, meds, and knocked it all out of the park. Plus….. while Rachel didn’t say anything I know my cat so there had to be some vomit as that’s what cats do but no sign so Rachel cleaned it up presumably and not a peep! I would and plan to let this lady handle my feline stuff every time going fwd. Rachel, thank you so much!!!!”

“Lainee was wonderful with my cats for three weeks while I was away. She is so caring and gentle with my boys and didn’t hesitate to help out with any issues that came up. They were so happy and well taken care of upon my return. Definitely will ask Lainee to look after my boys in future. I am so grateful!”

“Roxane was awesome! Very communicative and followed complex feeding/care instructions super well. Grateful to have someone so kind to look after Scout while I’m gone. Definitely will be booking with Roxane again :)”

About: I've taken care of friend's animals whenever they were gone for multiple days to weeks at a time and love all animals that are caring and loving. I already take care of friend's animals when they are gone and have been consistent. I'm asked to do it when she's traveling and working for weeks in a month as well as evenings on days she's working I feed them what I'm told to feed them, fill their water bowls up and make sure they use the bathroom so they feel content with being at home
“I had a last minute drop-in request with Eileen and she was able to check on my pups on the same day! She was very prompt with her responses and updates. Over text, Eileen seemed very friendly. My pups looked happy in the photos as well. I would definitely book with Eileen again :)”

“Awa is absolutely WONDERFUL! She is incredibly caring, honest, dependable, responsible and trustworthy. She has an immense love for dogs and will treat yours as if they were her own. She went above and beyond to ensure my baby was safe, was fed and had plenty of love while I was away at work. Being a dog owner herself, she understands how anxious and worried a dog parent can be when they can't be with their pup. She really went above and beyond-always letting me know when she was on her way and providing updates and photos to ensure that he was a happy boy. In addition, she always made sure she was on time when visiting Rico-not because it was a job-but because of her genuine care and concern for the well-being of my dog. I would 100% recommend Awa to care for your pet. I will definitely be asking her to return for future visits!! :)”
About: I've been a dog walker, dog lover, dog groomer, dog kisser, dog snuggler, dog hugger, dog teacher and dog admirer since the day I was born. Growing up, my family always had a dog around the house. We had Mandy Dog (a German Shorthaired Pointer), Winnie (fluffy-sunshine-mix-a-doodle) and Paris (Australian Shepherd/Pitbull mix) at various stages of my youth. When I was 12, I raised my first puppy (a lil fluffy Golden named Lucy) and I taught her everything from sit to play dead. In high school I was a dog bather for a local dog groomer. From this job I learned about different breed personalities, needs and care. Currently, I work from home and would love to care for your friend. I'm very flexible on timing and availability. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns! I work from home and my schedule is very flexible. I can do same-day visits on the west side. Whatever you and your pet need I will try to accommodate. My front yard is enclosed and safe for sniffing and hanging out but I will be walking your pets all around my area (avoiding the canals) and playing with them on the beach (unless you don't want this/they don't enjoy that).
“Aech was wonderful for a drop-in for my boy! She took him out for a potty break then gave him lots of love and attention until leaving. I got prompt updates and photos right after the visit. Would definitely book with Aech again!”
About: Hi! I’m a speech therapist and lifelong cat and dog lover based in Venice. I share my home with my friendly cockapoo, and over the years I’ve had the pleasure of dog sitting a variety of breeds—including border collies, Italian hounds, and chihuahuas. I understand that every dog has their own unique personality and needs, and I’m committed to providing them with care that feels like home. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or cozy companionship, your pet will be treated like family! I’m new to rover and have no reviews yet :( I work as a school based speech therapist, so after school or care during breaks are an option! Afternoons are best for my schedule. Let’s make it work! I have a large apartment in Brentwood, with a fenced in dog park on the apartment grounds. When caring for animals in other people’s homes, I focus on maintaining their usual routines, providing plenty of affection (if they want it!), keeping their environment clean and safe, and making sure they feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away.

About: I genuinely love spending time with pets and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I have experience with both dogs and cats and always follow their routine, including feeding, walks (for dogs), and playtime. I also have my own dog, so I understand daily routines, behavior, and how important it is for pets to feel safe and comfortable. What sets me apart is that my husband works from home, so your pet will have constant supervision, attention, and company throughout the day. We provide a calm, clean, and safe environment where pets can relax and feel at home. I’m attentive to each pet’s personality and needs, and I’m happy to send regular updates and photos, so you always feel connected and at ease. Pet care fits very naturally into our daily routine. My husband works from home, so there is always someone present, and pets are rarely left alone. We have a flexible schedule and can provide regular walks, feeding, playtime, and attention throughout the day. We enjoy a calm, home-based lifestyle, so spending time with pets is something we truly enjoy. Our home is clean, safe, and calm. I pay attention to each pet’s comfort and behavior and keep owners updated with photos and messages. Pets are always supervised
“McKenzie was truly amazing! She was so professional and communicative. She made us feel safe and confident that our puppy was in good hands. She took such great care of our 10-week old puppy and truly gave us peace of mind. 10/10 would definitely book again!”

About: Dog owner of 5 and manager of a pet care center, where I built a really close pet community. Being around dogs every day, I’ve gotten used to all kinds of personalities, some are super energetic and need extra energy while others just want to chill and feel safe. I genuinely enjoy spending time with them, whether that’s going on walks, playing, or just keeping them company. I pay attention to their behavior and little habits, so they feel comfortable and understood not just watched. Flexible and reliable. I’m available most days and can easily adjust to your pet’s routine and needs.I am not working so this would be perfect for me. I’m very active and enjoy walking, running, and staying outdoors, so your dog will get plenty of exercise, attention, and energy. Great fit for high energy dogs that need movement and stimulation. I treat every dog like my own. With my experience managing multiple dogs and running a pet care center, I make sure every environment is safe, clean, and enjoyable no matter the space.
About: Grew up taking care of dogs and house sitting for my parents friends animals. I am patient and reliable. I have walked, helped train and overnight sat for dogs my entire life. I also have seven nephews and nieces so I know what a circus or rodeo feels like :) I live in MDR and have a flexible schedule at the moment. I can be available in the morning, or evening. Just need a little bit of notice. I do not currently have any pets but I have always been a huge animal person. Started my own dog walking service when I was 8 to prove to my parents I could be responsible for an animal.
About: After college, I worked at a veterinary clinic for a year, where I gained hands-on experience with animals of all types, ages, and temperaments. I’m confident administering medications, recognizing signs of discomfort, and responding calmly in a variety of situations. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priorities. After leaving my corporate tech role in 2024, I now work from home full-time running a small investment business, which allows me to maintain a flexible schedule and prioritize pet care throughout the day. I’m an early riser and usually start my mornings early, which helps me create a calm and structured routine around each pet’s needs. I treat every home with respect and always keep things clean and tidy, making sure everything is left just as I found it. I also provide regular updates while you’re away, so you can travel with peace of mind knowing both your home and pets are in good hands.

About: Growing up with dogs, cats, chickens, and fish have not only made me a huge animal lover, but have lead my curiosity and passion towards animal health, safety, and wellness in my adult years. I have volunteered at the SPCA, cared for boarding pets, and taken care of friend’s and family’s beloved animals for over a decade. I’m extremely well-versed in animal body language and behavior and will not hesitate to share updates throughout our time together. During the year I worked at a pet daycare, I learned how to care for the smallest, sickest kitties, to the biggest and most energy-filled puppies. After about 8 months working there, I was promoted to handling and administering the guest’s food and medication, so I have lots of experience and knowledge about all kinds of different food and meds for dogs and cats. Furthermore, at just 8 years old, I taught my family dog, Rudy, how to sit, lay down, shake, go to his “spot”, balance a treat, spin, among other common words used on a day to day basis. I was fortunate to have such a bright puppy who made both our learning experiences absolutely fun. I’m continuing working with animals because I enjoy caring for those who need it most! I’m currently freelancing so I can be available anytime and can prioritize and reserve times and dates that work on your schedule! I live in a convenient commuting area so that won’t be a problem. In my client’s home, I would ask for a written lists of things I need to know like food and medication schedule, estimated walk times (if they get walks) and where to walk them, what activities they enjoy, what treats I have access to, as well as household questions if I’m staying for a few days or longer than a week regarding plants, food, door locks, community code, etc. I’m cleanly and organized so I intend to be consistently respectful and helpful in that regard.

“Yessy was great! My golden retriever absolutely loved her. She came on time, took him for a walk and turned on dog tv for him before leaving. Will definitely use her again in the future!”

“Love having such a reliable and responsible person like Abby to stop in and check up on the for babies. She is great to communicate updates and follows instructions well. We are very blessed to have Abby part of our Rover care.”
“Tracy took the time same day to come over and meet my dog Clio before I had to go out of town. She understood my dogs separation anxiety and was patient and kind in working with her. Thank you Tracy!”

About: Hi! I’ve loved and cared for dogs and cats for as long as I can remember. They hold a very special place in my heart, and even though I have my own fur babies, I never get tired of all the cuteness and joy they bring. I’m an experienced and caring pet sitter who truly enjoys getting to know each pet’s unique personality. Whether your furry friend needs walks, drop-in visits, overnight care, or just extra love while you’re away, I’m here to make sure they feel safe, relaxed, and genuinely cared for. I have hands-on experience with dogs and cats of all ages and temperaments—from playful puppies who need structure and gentle guidance, to senior pets who need patience, a slower pace, and attentive care (including medication if needed). I also work well with shy or anxious pets and always move at their comfort level to build trust. My goal is to create a calm, loving environment where your pet feels at home. You can always expect thoughtful updates, clear communication, and someone who treats your pets like their own. I truly love what I do and would be honored to care for yours! I’m currently working part-time, which allows me to offer flexible availability for pet care throughout the mornings, evenings, and most weekends. I’m also open to overnight care and happy to provide services either in my home or yours—whichever best suits your pet’s comfort and your needs. I provide calm, attentive, and personalized care in both my home and clients’ homes, always prioritizing each pet’s comfort, safety, and routine. In clients’ homes, I closely follow instructions and maintain their pet’s normal schedule to keep them relaxed in their familiar environment. In my home, I offer a clean, peaceful space where pets are treated like family with plenty of care and attention. I currently share my home with two sweet, indoor teenage male cats, so visiting pets must be comfortable in a cat-friendly environment. In all cases, I focus on safety, consistency, and clear communication, with regular updates so you feel confident while you’re away.

Incredible experience. This was my first trip away from my kitty and Samantha made me feel more at ease. She is punctual, quickly communicative and really made a great impression on my cat. Plethora of pictures, handling my last minute booking, Samantha was the best!

Alex was perfect, she took amazing care of our two cats, plus a litter of foster kittens! She was so experienced and went above and beyond with detailed updates and pictures, I felt 10000% confident all our kitties were happy and getting the best care. Thank you so much Alex!!

Betteena saved my cat’s life. Truly. What was supposed to be routine pet sitting turned into a medical emergency for one of my cats while I was away, and I genuinely do not know what I would have done without her. My cat Harley became seriously ill, and she immediately stepped in without hesitation. She was flexible, updating her visits and adjusting her schedule around my cat’s medication needs. She monitored him constantly, administered medications, cleaned up after his accidents, and kept me updated nonstop. She didn’t just “watch” my pets. She saved Harley as if he were her own. In one of the most stressful moments imaginable, she stayed calm, proactive, compassionate, and unbelievably attentive. She noticed every detail, acted quickly, and handled everything with so much care and urgency. Because of her, Harley got help when he needed it most. I truly believe she saved his life. On top of all of that, she still made sure my other cat was equally loved, comforted, and cared for. My home was immaculate, communication was constant, and I never once questioned whether my pets were safe in her hands. Finding someone you trust with your animals is rare. Finding someone who loves and protects them as fiercely as you do is almost impossible. She is that person. I will forever be booking Betteena and recommending her to every pet parent I know. If you are lucky enough to book her, do it immediately. There are not enough stars, words, or thank-yous in the world for what she did for my family. Harley and I will forever be grateful.

Kyle is a lifesaver! I was leaving for a trip and my cat needed someone to put ointment on her, and make sure she was wearing her collar. He was a great communicator and was able to get pictures. He even sent a voice note with her purring 😻 He did exactly what I asked him to do, when I asked him to do it, and he was very responsive to texts. Thank you Kyle!

Lindsay was a fantastic cat sitter! She took great care of Lenny, kept everything clean and organized, and clearly spent quality time with him. He seemed happy, relaxed, and very well looked after when I got home. I really appreciated the updates and attention to detail. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter.
