“Anne-Elizabeth was so wonderful with my dog Bean. Not only that, she was also very communicative and flexible during the booking. I highly recommend her to other people needing dog care”

About: Years with my own dog taught me that dogs have a few universal talents: finding the muddiest puddle, convincing you they haven’t eaten in days five minutes after dinner, and making every walk an adventure. Volunteering at a shelter reminded me that behind all those funny moments is something even more important—every dog wants to feel safe, understood, and loved. I’ve become pretty fluent in “dog language.” 🐶 That’s why I take the time to get to know each dog’s personality and earn their trust. I think it’s the best part of spending time with them. My skills: * Understanding dog behavior and body language * Building trust with dogs of different personalities * Patient and gentle handling * Caring for dogs of different ages and temperaments * Following detailed care instructions * Providing companionship, play, and attention My schedule allows me to dedicate plenty of time to walks, playtime, and giving each dog the individual attention they need. I understand that dogs feel happiest and most comfortable when they can keep their familiar routine. I do my best to create a calm, safe, and consistent environment that feels as close to home as possible while their family is away. I work full-time, seven days a week, so I’m available to provide reliable and consistent care for your pets whenever you need it. Before caring for your pet, I like to learn the little details that make them unique — their favorite activities, walking habits, how they communicate, and what helps them feel comfortable. During each walk, visit, or house sitting stay, I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages so you can enjoy your time away knowing how your furry friend is doing. My goal is simple: for your dog to feel like they’re spending time with someone they trust!
“We hired Heather for drop-in visits when a last-minute trip came up, and after our experience, I highly recommend her. Heather came right over for a meet-and-greet, and it took only seconds for her and Oliver to become best friends. In fact, when we came home from our trip, he told us that he wants to live with Mrs. Heather now. While we were gone, she provided Oliver with food (which has medications involved), cleaned his litter, played with him, brushed him, fed him treats, gave him love, and even cleaned up. Major Kudos: Oliver requires this transdermal medication applied within his ear. This is something that's difficult even for me to apply, so I sort of accepted it'd be impossible for anyone else. And yet, Heather was able to apply it—all four times. Oh, and all of the pictures she sent were like... professional. My cat looked like a model. So I mean, really, does it get better than that? Heather is a wonderful sitter, and unless Oliver chooses to move in with her, we'll be hiring her again.”

“Jessica was amazing! Took great care of my pup with multiple updates throughout the day and went the extra mile to make sure he was happy. Especially loved the extra pictures as well! 10/10 couldn't recommend her enough!”

I am currently working full time and commute so I’m available mostly on weekends for house sitting, dog watching and check ins 8:00 pm M/W/F I make sure the pets feel happy and safe at all times. I can tell when they want attention or prefer space and adjust as needed!
“Amy is so wonderful. Professional, very communicative, punctual, flexible and accommodating with my fluid schedule. Most importantly, she took great care of my fluff baby Oyster.”

“I could not have had a better experience as a first time user here on this app. I loved Alyssa’s incredible communication and flexibility. Would absolutely use her again.”

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover with years of hands-on experience caring for pets. I previously provided pet care through Rover years ago and I am excited to recently be back! I also worked at PetSmart as an Animal Care Specialist and have been dog walking and pet sitting since college. I regularly care for dogs and cats for friends and family and treat every pet like my own. Growing up, I had a cat who lived to the amazing age of 22, a dog, and many fish, so animals have always been a huge part of my life. I’d love to give your pet the same love, attention, and care while you’re away! ❤️ I am available on Mondays, Fridays and weekends. On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday I’m available anytime after 6:00 pm. My hybrid work schedule gives more flexibility. I have a big open spaced apartment that gives plenty of space. I live in a very walkable, dog-friendly area. I see people walking their dogs every day! :)
“Kellee is fantastic with my puppy Penny! She takes such great care of her, is punctual, and keeps me updated with photos and videos every visit. Kellee has only known Penny for a couple weeks but Penny already loves her. I highly recommend Kellee!”

“Brittany did Great! She stuck to the tips and instructions and used great judgement & awareness to adjust as things came up. On top of being trustworthy and aware, she was kind to my dogs!”

“Kristin was great. We really appreciate how thorough she was at our meet and greet. Our family enjoyed her message updates and pictures. Our boys were well loved while we were gone.”

“Jennifer has been great with my puppy. Very communicative and reliable, which I really appreciate. I feel comfortable knowing my puppy is being checked on and well cared for. Would recommend!”

“Michelle was truly spectacular and I would, without hestitation book her again for the future. I'm personally a very thorough and particular person and those are traits that I noticed with Michelle from the get go. She asked all the right questions upon our first meeting. While she visited, she was attentive to all of Nala's needs from her playtime, to her meals/waters, and as well as the maintenance of her litter box. I received the cutest photos from her everyday, alongside notes of how Nala was doing. We really, really appreciated all the photos and check in notes - it made us feel at complete ease while being out of state. I also have to mention, that we left our place pretty spotless and came back to zero-minimal messes/litter scattered about - really appreciated this as well! Thank you so much for everything Michelle! Nala can't wait to see you again <3”

“Kelly was wonderful! This was my first time using Rover and having a house sitter for our kitty while out on a trip. I feel very lucky to have had Kelly - she was happy to meet ahead of time and get intro’d to the cat. Sent lots and pics and detailed notes after the visits.”

Yuliia was incredibly responsible and punctual when caring for my cats. Whenever she gave me a time for her drop-in visits, she arrived at that exact minute without fail. She also showed a lot of genuine care and empathy, which gave me great peace of mind. I highly recommend her!

Samantha was the most amazing cat sitter. She was so communicative, efficient, and most importantly loving to my kitty while I was away on my trip. I felt 100% comfortable being away from my kitten because of all of the videos, pictures, and care she took of my baby. Will absolutely have her watch my cat in the future.

Alyssa was wonderful with my cats! She came by Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday morning for 30-minute visits and was reliable and consistent every time. She had great communication and kept me feeling completely comfortable while I was away. I could tell my cats were happy and well cared for when I got home, and there were no issues or accidents at all. She was also very trustworthy, which is so important when having someone care for your pets and come into your home. I would absolutely book Alyssa again and highly recommend her, especially to anyone looking for a dependable and caring sitter!

Heather is seriously amazing. We just moved to the area & we were so anxious to find a new cat sitter we could trust. She was absolutely amazing with our babies, was very responsive, attentive, and her amazing photos of our fur babies helped us to miss them a little bit less 🥹 we will surely use her in the future!

I was very nervous scheduling a sitter through an app, I’ve previously only been comfortable using personal recommendations, however Kaya exceeded expectations. She offered a quick meet and greet to go over the lay of the land and meet my pet prior to our scheduled visits which instantly put us at ease. She was very responsive, communicative and punctual for our bookings. She left everything immaculate, sent pictures, and was able to pivot and adjust when our guy didn’t want to come out from under the bed and made sure he still got his medicine without needing to reach out for advice. She is very friendly and professional and I would both recommend her and book her again personally.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
