About: I’ve personally had many dogs and cats throughout both my childhood and now adulthood and consider them my family. I’m patient, kind, caring and very good with any and all special care needs for younger or older pets. I’m currently working part time and remotely from my home so I have a lot of time and flexibility / openings daily as may be needed. I have a fenced yard in a nice, safe neighborhood with one male terrier mix dog and one long haired domestic long hair cat. I work remotely so am home with my pets and any additional friends I may meet who come by! Very animal safe!
“Christian took amazing care of my cat DMX and my frogs over the long weekend, and I couldn’t have asked for a better pet sitter. He was always on time, very attentive, and made sure everyone was comfortable, fed, and well cared for. It was obvious that he genuinely cared about my pets and paid close attention to their routines and needs. DMX absolutely loved him, which is not something I say lightly, and it gave me a lot of peace of mind while I was away. He also kept me updated and was very dependable throughout the entire stay. I came home to happy, relaxed pets and everything in perfect shape. I would absolutely trust Christian again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable, thoughtful, and caring pet sitter. Definitely a 5-star experience!”

About: While I’m new to Rover and building my profile, I’m not new to caring for animals. I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life and have experience with pets of different ages, personalities, and needs. I understand that trusting someone with your pet is a big decision, so I make communication a priority and will keep you updated with photos and messages so you can feel confident that your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for. Growing up, I also helped at a shelter with my mom, which gave me early experience working with animals of different temperaments and needs. I truly love animals and enjoy making them feel safe, happy, and comfortable. I’m very active and love spending time outdoors, especially hiking. I used to take my last dog, Loulou, on adventures with me, and I would love to have a furry companion to explore nature with. Whether it’s playtime, walks, or just keeping them company, I treat every pet like my own. I’m excited to earn the trust of both pets and their owners by providing reliable, loving care every time. I’m also flexible with location and can help with pick-up and drop-off if that makes things easier. Pet care fits easily into my routine since I currently work part-time, which gives me a flexible schedule. I’m consistently available on Wednesdays, Fridays, and often on weekends, and I can plan my days around the needs of the pets I’m caring for. On the days I’m available, I make sure to dedicate quality time to each pet whether that’s walks, playtime, feeding, or just giving them attention and companionship. I enjoy being active, so incorporating walks or outdoor time into my day feels very natural to me. I’m also attentive to each pet’s routine and will adjust my schedule to match their usual habits as closely as possible, helping them feel comfortable and secure. When caring for pets, I always focus on keeping them comfortable, safe, and as close to their normal routine as possible. I follow the owner’s instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, exercise needs, and any specific preferences or habits the pet has. In my home, I create a calm and clean environment where pets can relax and feel at ease. I make sure they have plenty of attention, playtime, and regular walks, along with a safe space to rest. I’m attentive to their behavior and mood to ensure they’re happy and not stressed.

About: Hi! I’m Care! I’ve been an animal lover my entire life and genuinely feel happiest around pets. I grew up with both dogs and cats, so caring for animals has always been second nature to me. Over the years, I’ve had experience with all kinds of personalities and sizes — from small, sweet Shih Tzus to a playful Cane Corso puppy I dogsat for a full month, to most recently living with my most recent ex roommate's golden retriever. I’m very attentive, patient, and intuitive with animals. I pay close attention to their energy, needs, and comfort levels, whether that means giving them space or extra love. I’ll treat your pet like my own — making sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for at all times. I also live an active lifestyle, so I love going on walks, playing, and keeping pets engaged. At the same time, I’m calm and gentle, which helps especially with anxious or shy animals. You can fully trust that your pet will be in loving, reliable hands with me 🤍 I’m currently in school getting my master’s, so my schedule is flexible and I naturally build in breaks throughout the day. I love using those breaks to go on walks, get outside, and spend time with pets. I always prioritize creating a safe, calm, and loving environment for every pet. In a client’s home, I’m very respectful of their space and follow all instructions carefully, including feeding routines, walks, and any specific needs. I’m happy to communicate about whatever works best for you and your pet. I typically use your pet’s own leash, food, and supplies so everything stays consistent and comfortable for them. I pay close attention to each pet’s behavior and energy, making sure they feel secure and cared for at all times. My goal is always to treat your pet like my own and give you full peace of mind while you’re away.
About: I've been taking care of dogs of all shapes and sizes for the last 10 years. From small puppies still needing potty training, to senior guys grey around the snout who need meds and very gentle affection, and everything in between, I'm here to give your doggo the type of love and attention they need! I currently have an extremely flexible schedule, so I have plenty of time throughout the day to give pets all the food, scritches, playtime, walks, and potty breaks they could need. Every fur baby has their own unique needs, and I believe it's important to meet those. Beyond caring for the necessities of food, water, and potty breaks/litter cleaning, I like to meet the energy and affection levels of your pet. Some pets want non-stop action, and it's great to take them on walks or have at-home playtime, and some pets just want to snuggle, and that's great, too. Realistically, almost everyone will fall somewhere in the middle, and finding that balance is what I'm there for.

“I really appreciate Tania and her communication. She always left photos and few comments for every visit. She is kind and she takes instructions very well. Thank you Tania!”
“SLOANE IS THE BEST! My dog Luna absolutely adores her, she gets so excited when she walks through the door. Sloane is not only an animal lover, but she truly understands dogs and can handle my very strong 85 pound pitbull mix, I trust Sloane 100% with my dog (who can be a bit reactive) on walks. Sloane took time to understand my dog and it shows. 10/10 would book Sloane again and again.”

“We've worked with Caysee twice already, and she has consistently been an amazing petsitter to our two cats! She is communicative and responsible, and I would strongly reccomend her without reservation!”

“Wendy did amazing with Benji when I was away for 5 days on a vacation. She was really communicative and provided daily updates with pictures. Benji is generally on the shyer side but he loved Wendy. I will definitely book again!”

About: I greatly enjoy my work in the company of dogs, and making their day better. I have experience with dogs big and small, and have experience with meds and diapers. I'm a dog sitter and walker of 5 years. I make sure to provide treats, grooming, play time and to make feedings varied, fresh and new. I really enjoy spending time with dogs as a dog sitter and walker. I make sure that pets are feeling happy and will make sure to step around them, if they do not like visitors that much. I'm pretty good at reading a pet's vibe.
“Alyssa was able to help us out with short notice. She was very sweet, professional and friendly so we felt completely safe and happy leaving out cat in her care. Good communication & care!”

About: Hi, I'm Caroline! As a remote worker, I am home during day so I can provide your pet with constant companionship, regular potty breaks, and most importantly lots of love. I'm new to Rover, but not new to pet sitting. My experience includes caring for a family dog and cat, pet sitting, fostering, and volunteering at Best Friends Animal Society. I have never met a dog or cat I didn't like. My apartment is animal friendly, smoke-free, and ready to become a safe home away from home for your pet with lots of nap spots. I'm open to everything from high-energy puppies or kittens who need consistent play and training to gentle seniors who want a relaxed environment. I am highly skilled at reading animal body language and creating a calm environment for anxious pets. Above all, I will respect your rules for your pet and love them as my own. I cannot wait to love and care for your furry family member while you are away! Please note I open up my availability about a month in advance so my calendar is constantly being updated and I am happy to work to accommodate last minute bookings :) I'm currently working freelance and I work from home so I have lots of time to care for your pups and adjust my flexible schedule to your needs! While I live in an apartment, I have a large living space so your pet will never feel cramped. I am also a very active person so your pet can expect lots of walks, dog park visits, or whatever makes them happy. I love being creative with stimulating activities whether it's in my home or outside. I do not have any pets of my own beside those that I dogsit or foster so I can work to accommodate pets that prefer to be the only animal in the home. :)

“This was my first time using a Rover sitter. Elizabeth was amazing! I didn’t know what information to provide. The weather was sketchy. My dog is sensitive to different people. My house is quirky. Elizabeth dealt well with all of it. She was flexible about the dogs indoor/outdoor arrangement. She kept in touch with questions. When my quirky locks jammed, she notified me and we were able to solve the problem remotely. My dog, known to reject some sitters, clearly got along well with Elizabeth. Elizabeth was great with communication and care and I came home to a super happy healthy dog. We are incredibly grateful and hope to use Elizabeth again. We highly recommend Elizabeth for dog sitting & walks & general care. She was fantastic!”

About: I have been a dog foster for a long time. I worked with shelters and having great passions about dogs. I know a bit "dog psychology" ha and understand how to react to certain situations... especially when dogs are uncomfortable.. There’s a park right by my apartment, a very good option for dogs looking to socialize. My apartment is very quiet, so if your fur baby does not want to socialize, it is all covered as well. I've had dogs since 6. Dogs generally like me too. I enjoy my time with dogs. They melt my heart :) I can’t wait to meet your fur babies! It will be fun I can watch dogs during weekdays with a day or two notice, and my weekends are usually open. I do appreciate advanced notice. My apartment is very quiet, and please let me know if your dog has any excessive barking. I usually only watch dogs from the same owner or I will let you know. That way I ensure they will get along and don't fight.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Century City
We had a wonderful experience with Caitlin. Our cats took to her right away, which is incredibly important to us and says a lot about her calm, kind approach with animals. She was reliable, communicative, and even managed to get the best photo we’ve ever seen of our skittish and camera-shy cat… an impressive accomplishment in itself! We felt our cats were in great hands and would happily book with her again.
Mellissa was a godsend. We were away for quite a long time, and she came every day, gave us throw updates, gave the Cats very sweet attention, and even handled a few other things that went wrong around the house while we were away. Above and beyond the call of duty!

My regular cat sitter was not available for the dates I needed, so this was my first time booking Kalee. She is very sweet and reliable. My elderly cat is taking several oral medications and eats a special diet. She carefully followed all my instructions. I would definitely use her again if needed.

Ava was an excellent caretaker for my two kitties! She was always on time and consistently sent timely updates on how they were doing. She was reliable, affectionate, and clearly cared for them. I came back from a work trip to find my babies happy, relaxed, and well taken care of. Thanks, Ava!

This was our second time booking Allison to watch our 2 cats, and she was phenomenal again as always! She’s super thoughtful, sends the best pics, and really bonds with our pets. I think my cats will be very excited to see her again soon for our third booking!

This is the second time we have had Tasha watch our very shy cats, and she is fantastic! She’s gotten both to warm up to her, which is very rare for a pair of cats that normally hide from all strangers. She also goes above and beyond by making sure the cats get lots of pets and playtime every time. Finally, she is truly fantastic at sending lots of videos and photos - very clutch for this neurotic cat dad! We come home to happy cats every time Tasha has taken care of them and we will definitely be asking for her help again!

Jazi was awesome to have! The initial meet was super simple and she was knowledgeable to ask questions that we didn’t even think about and she made the process super quick and easy. For the actual drop-ins, Jazi was amazing. I realized that while we were gone, I actually didn’t give her a lot of details about what to do with the cat feeders but Jazi figured it out. She cleaned their dishes, played with the cats, and even took the time to take some pictures and sent them to us, even when we didn’t initially request it. We’re definitely going to ask her first any time we’re out because she was amazing.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
