About: Hi pet guardians, I’m Tauri. . I am a member of Pet Sitters International and I am independently insured and bonded through Pet Sitters Associates. I’ve successfully completed PSI’s Pet First Aid & CPCR for Pet-Care Professionals. . I have extensive dog care experience, including training large working breed dogs for search and rescue (e.g. Dobermans and German Shepherds). . I’ve walked and watched dogs from 5lbs to 130 pounds. I’m comfortable administering oral medicine and watching multiple dogs and other pets - cats, bunnies, birds, etc. . I have experience with dogs who have separation anxiety and I am open to a constant care option on a case-by-case basis (at a higher rate). . I've completed Michael Shikashio’s Aggression in Dogs Master Course, and I'm enrolled in Susan Clothier’s Treat Retreat course, which is geared towards helping dogs who are nervous interacting with people. . I've raised many puppies. I am willing to do walks and drop-ins for puppies. I am open to overnight sits for puppies on a case-by-case basis. Currently, I work remotely, which makes house-sitting possible. . My typical weekday involves working on my computer for 10 hours. I start work between 7am and 9am. I end the day between 5pm and 7pm. I typically don't work weekends or holidays. . On weekdays, I can start a house sit in the evening starting at 7pm or later. If you need the house sit to start earlier than 7pm on a non-holiday weekday I will consider those requests on a case-by-case basis. I can feed and take the dog(s) out to potty in the morning before starting work and I can take the dog(s) on a potty break midday. On weekends, I usually can start the sit earlier than 7pm. . During the week: I am typically not available for walks or drop-in appointments before 7pm. Weekends and holidays: On weekends and holidays I typically can accommodate walks and drop-in appointments. . Disclaimer: I reserve the right to leave to get food and basic necessities during a house sit at any point. I also reserve the right to leave for 4-6 hours during the day. . Constant Care: Pets requiring constant care will be considered on a case-by-case basis and will be subject to additional fees depending on the pets specific needs. I consider a pet to need constant care if the pet: (1) cannot be left for 4 hours at a time and/or (2) will need supervision or attention during 8 hours overnight (sleep time for me) or during the day while I work. In-person Meet & Greets are required prior to all services for new clients. I need to meet the pet(s) and assess temperament. . For dogs I want to go on a walk with the dogs and make sure the leashes, collars and equipment used to walk the pet is in good condition and the pet cannot slip out of the equipment. I want to see the typical walk environment and assess potential safety hazards (coyotes, aggressive dogs behind flimsy fences, debris in the area, etc.) and logistical issues (elevators, stairs, parking). . For all pets the in-person Meet & Greet will also allow me to assess the escape risks for pets and options for minimizing these risks. . The Meet & Greet will also allow you the opportunity to meet me in person, ask me questions and see me interact with your pet. Entrusting your pet and your home to a stranger is a very important decision for you and it should be taken seriously. If for some reason you do feel comfortable with me watching your pets or staying in your house after the Meet & Greet, you should meet with another sitter and find one that matches your needs. . Miscellaneous: I do not plan to bring any people or pets (other than the ones you are asking me to watch) into your home while I pet sit. . Disclaimer: I reserve the right to refuse the sit if after the Meet and Greet I am not comfortable with the situation. While I have experience with aggressive dogs and cats, my overnight sit rate is for social/well-adjusted animals. Animals in need of behavioral modification or that pose a safety risk to myself or others should be boarded at a facility that is geared towards aggressive animals. Similarly, while I have experience caring for animals post surgery or animals experiencing acute medical conditions, my overnight rate is for healthy animals and/or animals with well-controlled chronic conditions. Medically fragile animals should be boarded at a veterinary facility with 24/7 staffing.

“Kendi is so good with our Mini Aussie Max! I do not have to worry while I am away and she always sends me pics of him playing, cuddling, etc! I highly recommend her!”

“My cat took to Elizabeth the minute she walked in (and my cat is very shy!) I felt more than safe knowing she was coming over every day to be her!! Also, bonus, she takes the MOST amazing pics!!! 😻”

“Dayna is awesome! This was our first time using Rover and she made it a great experience. She put us at ease right away and was very communicative throughout. You can tell she loves animals and our kittens loved her! Will definitely hire Dayna again!”

“Adrianne did take amazing care of both of our cats! Even our shy one would come out and greet her. Despite the LA fires she made sure to visit our cats and was ready to evacuate if needed! Really appreciate the great communication and the support. Huge recommendation and happy to have found a trusted pet sitter.”

About: Hi I’m Queena! I have had fur babies of my own since as long as I can remember. Growing up with big dogs I’ve also gotten well versed in training and learning about them. I specialize in bigger breeds such as German Shepherds, Rottweilers, Akitas and Pit Bulls. Currently I have a special needs pup and he is my world, caring for him has opened me to many new experiences and hardships. I focus a lot on dietary nutrition and care as a sitter , especially for puppies and senior pups. Over the years I have participated in working dog training to further my knowledge in handling and protection in other breeds such Dobermans and other Bully breeds. Weekdays are preferred, open to weekends too but I’d need notice ahead of time. I can home-sit for up to a week. My off day is Wednesday. I can provide a safe and trusting relationship with your pup(s) when you are away. That includes hourly updates of pictures or videos, and a report at the end of the day. I understand how daunting and uneasy it could be to leave your fur children at home and in care of someone else, as I have also experienced this; I will communicate thoroughly with you to put an ease on your mind. Their daily necessities will be provided (of course!), and any special needs will be fulfilled and reported as well.
“Ginneh is a gem! She is our go-to for dropping in on our two cats. Super friendly, communicative, and sends the most wonderfully detailed and fun Rover reports! You can rest assured your pets are in excellent hands with Ginneh!”

About: Hi, I’m Amanda! I’m an LA-based animal lover and proud cat mom to my sweet orange tabby, Jeff. Being a pet parent has been one of the greatest joys of my life, but my love for animals started long before that. I grew up with two golden retrievers, Kona and Maggie, and my family has always joked that I’m the “dog whisperer” because every dog I meet seems to decide we’re best friends. Before joining Rover, I pet sat for family, friends, roommates, and neighbors for years, caring for both dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and personalities. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cuddles on the couch, or just having a calm, friendly companion around, I’m happy to meet them where they’re at. My goal is to make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. When you book with me, you can expect reliable care, great communication, lots of photo updates, and someone who will treat your pet like one of their own. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, and I take that responsibility seriously. I have a remote job so my schedule is very flexible and I am typically available to house sit during the week. I usually have plenty of availability over the weekend for walks or drop-ins as well. Whether it's drop-ins or extended overnight care, I am very happy to learn and follow your routine for your pet in order to provide the best care possible :)

About: Hi! I'm an experienced animal lover with over 12 years of pet sitting and foster care experience. Throughout the years, I've cared for dogs, cats, reptiles, fish, and small mammals, and I'm comfortable working with pets of all personalities, energy levels, and care needs. In addition to pet sitting, I've fostered both cats and dogs, helping care for them until they found their forever homes. This experience has taught me patience, adaptability, and how to make animals feel safe and comfortable in new situations. I work from home, which gives me the flexibility to provide plenty of attention, companionship, and care for pets whose families need an extra helping hand. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, or simply having someone nearby, I'm happy to tailor my care to their individual needs. I'm active and experienced with high-energy pets, thanks in part to my own well-trained 8-year-old Australian Shepherd, Nylo, who keeps me on my toes! I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your furry (or scaly!) family members, and I look forward to providing them with loving, dependable care. I'm working from home and self-employed so I am in control of my own schedule. Boarding rates include a 24 hour period. My drop-off hours are 2pm-8pm for new clients, or anytime between 8am-8pm for returning clients. This is to ensure that new clients get my full attention so they can adjust! Before booking first time boarding or daycare clients, I require a brief meet and greet with you and your fur babies to ensure the best experience for everyone involved! For all visiting pets, I do require that your little one be trained with the basics, as well as the ability to get along with other dogs.
About: I have been a dog owner for 16 years and have developed a strong understanding of the care, attention, and responsibility that pets require. Throughout my life, I have also gained hands-on experience caring for animals through house sitting and dog walking for friends, family, and others in my community. These experiences have taught me how important patience, consistency, and attentiveness are in creating a safe and comfortable environment for every pet. I take pride in being dependable and ensuring that each animal receives the same level of care and attention that I would want for my own pets. I genuinely love working with animals, and pet care has always been a consistent part of my daily life. As a longtime pet owner with years of experience caring for dogs and cats through house sitting and pet care, I’m comfortable building my schedule around feeding routines, walks, exercise, playtime, and individual needs. I understand how important consistency and trust are when someone is caring for your pet, and I make it a priority to provide dependable care, plenty of attention, and a safe, comfortable environment where pets can feel happy and at ease while owners have peace of mind. I always prioritize a pet’s safety, comfort, and routine while in my care. Whether I’m caring for pets in my client’s home or during walks and visits, I make sure they receive plenty of attention while maintaining the routines they are familiar with, including feeding schedules, exercise, playtime, and any specific instructions provided by the owner. I understand that every pet has different needs and personalities, so I take the time to create an environment where they feel comfortable, secure, and well cared for. I also believe communication is important, so I make it a priority to keep owners updated and provide peace of mind while they are away.
“Katherine was amazing! I trust very few people with my boy and she made me super comfortable by respecting all my rules and providing a lot of updates. Lincoln also ended up loving her and asking for a bunch of pets. Thank you!!!!”

About: Hi! I grew up on my grandmother’s farm in Italy. As an only child, I spent most of my time with animals and learned from an early age how to care for them. My dog, Billie, and my cat, Chico, were my best friends growing up. Fast forward to today: I live in Studio City with my husband. Over the years, I’ve provided professional pet-sitting services through word-of-mouth referrals, caring for dogs of all sizes and cats. I have two cats of our own, whom I love as if they were my children. I’m fascinated by feline behavior and have spent countless hours learning about their needs and personalities. Dogs may be a little easier to understand, but I adore them just as much. 😊 I love going for walks, and I take great pride in providing the best possible care for every pet. I follow instructions carefully, am highly respectful of other people’s homes and routines, and am extremely reliable and dependable. I look forward to meeting you and your pets! As an actress and founder of my own theatre company, I'm fortunate to have a flexible schedule that allows me to embrace a variety of meaningful experiences between projects. Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine. Spending time with animals combines two things I truly enjoy: being in the open air and caring for pets. Whether it's going for walks, playing, or simply providing care and companionship, looking after pets feels less like a task and more like something that perfectly complements my lifestyle and brings me genuine joy. I offer both pet sitting and house sitting and have experience with both. As a former nanny, I'm very attentive, responsible, and used to caring not only for pets but also for someone's home with the utmost respect. I have previously hosted small dogs in my townhome and would be happy to do so again, provided they are comfortable around cats, as I have two furry babies of my own. If a dog is generally fine with cats but not completely at ease around them, I take extra precautions and have them sleep in a crate at night or whenever I cannot actively supervise. My priority is always everyone's safety and comfort. I am extremely conscientious and prudent. I follow care instructions to the letter, communicate clearly, and take reliability very seriously. Pet owners can trust that their pets, routines, and homes will be cared for exactly as requested.
“Jesslin has been punctual and reports precisely what she has done during her visits. She also goes the extra mile when needed to ensure my cats’ well being. I recommend her highly.”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Universal City
Beiwei was great! She followed all of our instructions when taking care of our little guy, and sent us update pictures everyday. I especially appreciated her taking photos of how much food and water was being distributed per day and showing his litter all clean. Would book again!!

Kelly was very friendly, professional and responsive. She answered all my texts extremely fast, shared photo updates of my cats every day and texted if she had any questions - all of which made me feel very at ease while I was away. She even cleaned up a small spill of medicine and brought in a package. I highly recommend booking with Kelly!

Yvonne was an easy choice for my family when we had to go out of town. My baby, Tater Tot, is a simple cat, but he sometimes has mildly complex issues. It was clear from the start that Yvonne was ready to take care of our baby. We arranged an easy meet and greet, and we could see that Yvonne understood Tater's needs. They shared photos via Rover card twice a day and our minds were eased seeing that Tater was doing well. Yvonne cleaned litter, refilled food and water, and also took care of Tater's special needs, like daily face cleaning and eyedrop application. It's hard to leave your pets at any time, but I believe that you can trust that your pet is good hands when you book Yvonne. Thank you!

Shanna took such good care of my boys! She kept me updated with lots of videos and pictures which I loved. I would definitely book her again. She clearly cares a lot about animals; she spent awhile playing with them rather than just feeding them and leaving.

Jessica did a great job taking care of our senior kitty while we were out of town! She is very kind and considerate and communicated well with us, sent us lots of pictures of our little guy, and kept us up to date on his appetite! Really appreciate your help, Jessica!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Universal City. On Rover:
- 89% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 93% can help with giving oral medications or injections

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
