About: I've been around animals and helping care for them from a young age, so taking care of pets has always been a natural part of my life. I grew up with a variety of dogs, including Chocolate Labrador Retrievers, Shiba Inus, Huskies, and Chihuahuas, so I'm comfortable with dogs of all different sizes, breeds, and personalities! I've also house-sat for dogs that required extra care, including giving oral medications, keeping up with scheduled walks, feeding, and, of course, making sure they get plenty of playtime and attention. My experience isn't limited to dogs either! I've cared for cats overnight and have experience giving oral medications, cleaning litter boxes, keeping up with feeding and fresh water, and making sure they feel comfortable and cared for while their owners are away. I'm also currently a proud cat parent to two beautiful cats of my own, so I know how important it is to have someone you trust looking after your pets. I always try to treat every animal I care for like they're one of my own! I work from home and have flexible hours, which makes it easy for me to fit pet care into my daily routine. I’m able to provide regular walks, playtime, feeding, medication, and plenty of attention throughout the day. My flexible schedule also allows me to adjust to each pet’s normal routine and specific needs. I understand that every pet has their own personality and routine, so I do my best to make them feel safe and comfortable while in my care. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their usual feeding, walking, playtime, and medication schedules as closely as possible. Being a pet parent has been one of the greatest joys of my life, but my love for animals started long before that. I grew up with two golden retrievers, Kona and Maggie, and my family has always joked that I’m the “dog whisperer” because every dog I meet seems to decide we’re best friends. Before joining Rover, I pet sat for family, friends, roommates, and neighbors for years, caring for both dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and personalities. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cuddles on the couch, or just having a calm, friendly companion around, I’m happy to meet them where they’re at. My goal is to make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away.
