“Joanne is always great! Highly recommend. She is super detail oriented, kind, gentle with the doggies and punctual. She is the best! She even arrived at 745am to go through medications with me. Thank you joannne!”

“Gosh, I can’t say enough positive things. I was very nervous about using Rover after a bizarre experience 7 years ago. I also have a lot of anxiety leaving my dog with anyone because she has a history of pancreatitis and the smallest thing can cause a flare up. Kat sent tons of pictures - pictures of the food, poop, playing, walks- all of which were very helpful at alleviating my worries and showing me that everything was ok, things were normal, Ziggy (my dog) was doing great. When I came home, I think Ziggy was actually disappointed I wasn’t Kat! 🤣 Definitely recommend Kat. She really went above and beyond 💜”

“Absolutely perfect. We couldn’t of been happier with Natalia staying at our home for a few days with our pup. She took such great care of her, left our home in amazing shape and communicated well with us. She also helped us out with something urgent when we were out on our first day. Highly recommend her! Thank you so much Natalia!”
“Madeline was such a great doggy sitter! I have two pups, both with their own special personalities (one is a little shy and anxious and the other is a little reactive to strangers). She came to do a meet and greet so they would feel comfortable the day of, and she was so patient and sweet with them. She was very attentive and listened to all the details we were sharing with her. She seemed super confident and experienced. For the day of (we were actually getting married!), we did not have to worry one bit about them and she sent us many cute pictures to update us on how they were doing. They looked at ease :) Would definitely recommend her and will contact her again if we ever need a dog sitter. :)”

“Abi was wonderful and our kitties loved her!! Even our less social, nervous kitty was so relaxed and happy when we got home. We absolutely recommend her and would hire her again in a heartbeat! Thank you tons, Abi!!”

“LaTamarra took incredible care of both my dog and cat as a drop in visit sitter. She came by 2-3 times a day while playing, walking, and feeding both of my fur babies. She sent frequent updates via texts, videos, and pictures. She was very responsible and I felt secure knowing that my pets were in good hands while I traveled. I highly recommend LaTamarra as a pet sitter and am grateful I found her!”

“We just took our first family vacation since pre-pandemic, and it was a huge relief to leave our furbabies in Kim's loving care. She stayed overnight for a whole week with our pup and senior kitty. I was worried about our cat turning 19 while we were away because he was losing weight before our trip. When we returned, he had gained weight, and he looked healthier. Kim has a magic touch! She also cared for our guinea pigs, which are rather high maintenance, so I am very appreciative of her dedication to them. I'm so glad we found Kim so we have a trusted sitter for our next trip.”

“Lane took such amazing care of our old gal, Penny! She sent tons of photo updates, spent lots of quality time with her, and walked her every day. We felt so at ease knowing Penny was in such caring hands. Would absolutely hire Lane again and highly recommend her!”

“Thank goodness for Adam. After our initial pet sitter fell through at the last minute for a holiday weekend Adam was available on a moments notice to watch our dog and two cats and even do a meet and greet beforehand as well. He’s was responsive, reliable and constantly sending updates and pictures. So we knew we left our pets in good hands. We returned to a clean and tidy home and happy and safe pets and we couldn’t be more appreciative. We would definitely book Adam again.”

“I can’t recommend Gabby enough! She was incredibly communicative and sent lots of the cutest pics. My dog is working on leash reactivity and Gabby was great at working with her and continuing her daily practice on walks. My dog is obsessed with her. I’ll definitely be booking with her in the future.”

“Tom could the Platonic ideal of pet - and house-sitters. We’ve booked him three times and each time he’s managed to surprise and delight us with his kindness, creativity, sense of humor and responsiveness. He always finds a new way to go above and beyond our expectations, and it is such a comfort and delight to know that he is taking wonderful care of our beloved dogs—he makes us want to go on more trips!”

About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of animals from a young age, dogs being my absolute favorite! While I started pet sitting occasionally for friends and family, last summer this part-time business started to boom! I had the opportunity to meet so many amazing new dogs, learned so many new things and really fell in love with pet sitting! I am currently working in a very flexible part-time position, so I have plenty of time and energy to be putting into pet sitting, walking, or just hanging out! Without a completely fenced in yard, I am more comfortable keeping the pets on leash at all times when outside of the home. With some exceptions including parks, dog parks, and safe fenced in areas, with approval and guidance from the client of course!
“Chelsea went above and beyond to take care of Winston and Miso! Not only did she check in frequently, but she shared tons of photos and videos, and even did training with our pup. Winston can be a handful, and we felt at ease knowing Chelsea was watching after him. We would happily trust her to take care of our little ones next time we are away! Thank you so much, Chelsea!”

“Georgina was absolutely exceptional while caring for our dog, Kobe, during our 13-day trip. From start to finish, she went above and beyond in every way. She carefully administered Kobe’s medication, followed all of our instructions to the letter, and treated him with so much love and attention—it gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. Beyond pet care, Georgina took incredible care of our home as well. She watered our plants, brought in the mail, and managed the garbage—everything was spotless and perfectly maintained when we returned. Her attention to detail is truly unmatched. What stood out most was her communication. She kept us consistently updated with messages and lots of photos, which made being away so much easier. We always felt in the loop and confident that everything was being handled beautifully. Georgina is responsible, thoughtful, and incredibly thorough. We feel so lucky to have found her and she will absolutely be our go-to sitter moving forward. Highly, highly recommend!”

“Adrianne is awesome! We have an anxious reactive dog who is scared of strangers, but Adrianne was very patient and calm with him as he got used to her. We had recurring drop-ins to get our dog comfortable before Adrianne housesat for us, and she was great at communicating - she would let us know in advance if she couldn’t make it on particular drop-in day and was flexible about rescheduling. Our dog also takes medication daily and she was great with that. She sent daily updates and let our place very clean and organized. Definitely recommend and would book her again!”

About: Hi pet guardians, I’m Tauri. I have extensive dog care experience, especially with large working breeds (e.g. Dobermans and German Shepherds). . I often get calls and requests from neighbors when someone needs their dog walked, watched or has an emergency. I’ve walked and watched dogs from 5lbs to 100+ pounds. I’m comfortable administering oral medicine and watching multiple dogs and other pets (cats, bunnies, birds, etc.) . . I’ve fostered four German Shepherds, one of which was aggressive toward people. The aggressive foster led me to enroll in Michael Shikashio’s Aggression in Dogs Master Course and Susan Clothier’s Treat Retreat course, which is geared towards helping dogs who are nervous interacting with people. I have experience with dogs who have separation anxiety and I am open to a constant care option on a case-by-case basis (at a higher rate). . I've raised many puppies. It's hard work caring for puppies but they are so much fun! I am very willing to do walks and drop-ins for puppies. I am open to overnight sits for puppies on a case-by-case basis. Currently, I work remotely, which makes house-sitting possible. . My typical weekday involves working on my computer for 10 hours. I start work between 7am and 9am. I end the day between 5pm and 7pm. I typically don't work weekends or holidays. . On weekdays, I can start a house sit in the evening starting at 7pm or later. If you need the house sit to start earlier than 7pm on a non-holiday weekday I will consider those requests on a case-by-case basis. I can feed and take the dog(s) out to potty in the morning before starting work and I can take the dog(s) on a potty break midday. On weekends, I usually can start the sit earlier than 7pm. . During the week: I am typically not available for walks or drop-in appointments before 7pm. Weekends and holidays: On weekends and holidays I typically can accommodate walks and drop-in appointments. . Disclaimer: I reserve the right to leave to get food and basic necessities during a house sit at any point. I also reserve the right to leave for 4-6 hours during the day. . Constant Care: Pets requiring constant care will be considered on a case-by-case basis and will be subject to additional fees depending on the pets specific needs. I consider a pet to need constant care if the pet: (1) cannot be left for 4 hours at a time and/or (2) will need supervision or attention during 8 hours overnight (sleep time for me) or during the day while I work. In-person Meet & Greets are required prior to all services for new clients. I need to meet the pet(s) and assess temperament. . For dogs I want to go on a walk with the dogs and make sure the leashes, collars and equipment used to walk the pet is in good condition and the pet cannot slip out of the equipment. I want to see the typical walk environment and assess potential safety hazards (coyotes, aggressive dogs behind flimsy fences, debris in the area, etc.) and logistical issues (elevators, stairs, parking). . For all pets the in-person Meet & Greet will also allow me to assess the escape risks for pets and options for minimizing these risks. . The Meet & Greet will also allow you the opportunity to meet me in person, ask me questions and see me interact with your pet. Entrusting your pet and your home to a stranger is a very important decision for you and it should be taken seriously. If for some reason you do feel comfortable with me watching your pets or staying in your house after the Meet & Greet, you should meet with another sitter and find one that matches your needs. . Miscellaneous: I do not plan to bring any people or pets (other than the ones you are asking me to watch) into your home while I pet sit. . Disclaimer: I reserve the right to refuse the sit if after the Meet and Greet I am not comfortable with the situation. While I have experience with aggressive dogs and cats, my overnight sit rate is for social/well-adjusted animals. Animals in need of behavioral modification or that pose a safety risk to myself or others should be boarded at a facility that is geared towards aggressive animals. Similarly, while I have experience caring for animals post surgery or animals experiencing acute medical conditions, my overnight rate is for healthy animals and/or animals with well-controlled chronic conditions. Medically fragile animals should be boarded at a veterinary facility with 24/7 staffing.
“We had the pleasure of having Amanda watch over Jupiter and Artemis during several hours house-sitting, and she was absolutely amazing! From the moment she arrived, we felt totally at ease knowing our pups were in such caring and capable hands. Amanda was incredibly attentive, kept us updated with funny and sweet photos, and made sure both dogs were comfortable, happy, and well taken care of while we were away. It was clear she really connected with them—and they adored her in return! Amanda is warm, reliable, and genuinely wonderful with animals. We’re so grateful for the time she spent with Jupiter and Artemis, and anyone would be lucky to have her care for their pets!”

About: Ever since my sister adopted her angel dog in college, I have been vying to go anywhere and do anything to hang w her. Ive never met a fur baby I didn’t love. I have quite a bit of experience in elder dog care and maintaining medication and diet. I’m also good at keeping up with training and other behavioral habits. I am new to Los Angeles, but not new to animal care. I work as a freelancer, so I have plenty of day time to offer in helping relieve your pup and stretch their legs. Always happy giving affection or putting them to work, depending on their needs. I’m not allowed to take pets into my home at the moment, but happy to spend time or overnight at someone else’s in helping an animal.
“Veronica was amazing — very professional and really engaged well with our dog. I especially liked that they truly understood the breed of my dog. They were great!”

Universal City pet parents share their Rover experiences
Adam has been an absolute pleasure to work with. Our pets were clearly receiving the highest level of care during his 2 week stay. He was communicative and adapted to an ever shifting situation as one of our pets needed a little extra attention due to newly prescribed dietary needs. We had a friend check in while we were gone and she said it was obvious the pets were big fans as well. Very highly recommended.

Georgina was a fantastic house sitter for our senior dog, Gelato. Very communicative, caring, and reliable. It’s great having someone to trust with our little man while we’re out for a few days. She sent pics and videos and left the house clean and Gelato very happy and cared for. Thanks so much!

Katherine was wonderful! She was prompt and communicative and easy going. Our puppy is not the easiest (he’s young and a bit of a land shark), but Katherine was great at keeping him engaged and distracting him if he was getting too energetic. Will definitely be using her again!

Grace was a wonderful sitter for my complicated fur babies (3 cats, very large golden and elderly dog). She sent daily updates and pictures and took extra steps to ensure they were well cared for and loved. Grace went above and beyond and highly recommend! Wonderful experience and peace of mind♥️
