“Jessica took incredible care of our fur babies. She followed instructions and the schedule to a T, and our girls were very happy and well taken care of when we came home. Cannot thank her enough for giving us the peace of mind to know they were under her care while we were out of town. Definitely recommend and will. work with her again.”

“I can't believe there are people more inspired by pets than Tim. He got along great with our elderly dog. Trust was established from the first time we met. I received constantly exciting photos and videos of walks. I 100% recommend Tim and his wife for safe fun caring for your pets. If all people were like that, we wouldn’t be in troubled !”
5. Yana M.
“110% thrilled with my experience with Megan! She dropped in for house visits to feed and clean the litter box for my cat, Simon, and she was very communicative all along the way. I never got to meet her before trusting her to care for my cat, but I felt so comfortable with her based on our messaging conversations that I trusted her without a face-to-face meeting. Very happy with my Rover experience and my Megan experience! Thank you again, Megan!”
6. Anastasiia K.
“Anastasiia is the sweetest! She was flexible with our need to change the dates, and very prompt with her drop-ins. She was informative, and we had a peace of mind having her check in our on Dino. Absolutely would request and recommend Anastasiia for future visit?”
7. Audrey A.
“Audrey loves animals! Whenever we went on a vacation, we could count on her to look after our pets. Or when we ask her to walk our dogs when we are too busy, she would show up on time! We so appreciated her punctuality. She’s always happy to see our dogs and is really good with them. You can count on her!”
8. Traci Y.
“For the doggie parents who know not everyone understands their dog, Traci is your person! Her intuition about animals is very strong and she understands and treats them like her own. She follows directions as given and when things were slightly different than planned, she adjusts without direction. We were out of town for two nights and she came both mornings and then again the afternoon of the first day. She opened up our home (blinds, lights, etc) and closed things up at night. She is a 10 out of 5. She provides narrative and pictures of her visit that had me saying, “That’s my dog!” Hire Traci and rest assured your pet is safe, happy, and loved.?”
9. Tanya H.
“Do yourself a favor and hire Tanya right now!!! My husband and I went out of town for vacation and we had Tanya stay with our 5 cats (yes, we have 5 cats) while we were gone. She was nothing but amazing! We left her with a list of our cats’ needs and she was excellent at it! She sent us daily videos of our cats, and they seemed to really love her. She took the time to play and pet them, while being on top of cleaning litter boxes & medications. Our house was exactly like we had left it, clean & organized. We are so happy to have found Tanya & we will definitely have her come and stay with our fur babies again. Thank you Tanya!!!!”
10. Pamela I.
“Pamela is beyond amazing! Anytime I go out of town or have to work a double she’s the person I call. My baby, Louis, loves and trusts her so much wouldn’t leave her with anyone else!”
11. Emily L.
“Emily was a wonderful dogsitter for my dog Winston, who has severe separation anxiety. She was very empathetic when he was getting upset when I was leaving, and she was able to calm him down shortly after I left. She sent a photo to keep me updated and to give me peace of mind. And when I came home, he was just snuggled up with her on the couch watching TV. I highly recommend Emily, and I'm sure I will contact her again when I need a dogsitter”

About: I've been blessed to have two dogs in my life in the past. My first one was an older corgi that I also provided daily insulin shots for. My second was another corgi that I raised from a puppy into adulthood. From this, I learned a lot on how to read a dog's body language and understand when a dog is or is not comfortable with the situation or their surroundings. I tend to be a lot more patient with dogs than I am with people, and that let's me work pretty well with dogs that are stubborn like my last two daughters. I've dog sat for friends and family more times than I can count, and I'm excited to experience Rover with your pets as if they were my own. I recently moved into the area, and now I find myself with a lot of time and a lot of love to share. My schedule consists of a workout in the morning (before 8 am) and then working/relaxing the rest of the day. I typically don't go out besides for meals and spend most of my time at home. Because I work from home, I typically spend my own time either in meetings at work and engage with your pet in the off moments. I'd like to take the dogs on more frequent walks if that's something you're looking for. In regards to your home, I would want to first understand what specific things I should be aware of and what's important to you including privacy. For your pet, I'd like to meet them beforehand outside before coming in. I am also experienced with taking care of freshwater fish.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 13 from the puppy stages all the way to when they’re slow and gray. My first dog was a senior that I took care of till the very end and eventually came 2 of my other puppies who were given to use by family friends. These 2 grew up and had one litter of puppies that we raised and gave away to new families (we kept the goofiest one). Several friends and families have entrusted me to look after their dogs and cats and I’m always happy to do so! Outside of my 9-5, I will gladly take my time to take care of your pets before and/or after those work hours. I’m completely free to help out weekends and would be happy to help out :) I’ve been around and taken care of dogs, cats, frogs, fish, and hamsters since I was a kid. I’ve always loved animals. When watching other people’s pets, I make sure to follow any specific requests and directions that were given to me but also try to make sure the pets get comfortable with me so they’re not uncomfortable in their own space. I think a key factor is trying to get read on the animal’s behavior so I can act accordingly.
14. Jacqueline B.
“It is my pleasure to refer Jackie. She has sit for my animals on several occasions.. Jackie is clearly an animal lover and I easily grew to trust her to care for my cats and dogs. She is quietly competent, definitely has good instincts and can sense the needs of animals. I understand Jackie grew up on a farm and has even worked for a dog groomer. I can highly recommend her.”
15. Muskan B.
“Muskan did an awesome job with Indy! She worked with him a few days during a week and was on time every day and made sure he had some outside time and cuddles during the day!”
16. Eric D.
“Eric did a great job caring for our dogs while we were out of town! Upon the meet and greet, it was clear that he is professional, reliable, and friendly. Eric even went the extra mile in dealing with the amount of snow that came as well as our leashing-eating dog without complaint or bother. We also really enjoy getting daily pictures! We definitely recommend Eric and will look to him for future bookings!”
17. Ashley L.
“I've know Ashley for over a decade, and she has been my go-to dogsitter throughout the Pandemic. It's great having some who understands how dogs think, play and emote. She is also a dog owner, so it's easy to trust her maternal instincts and feel rest assured knowing my pup is receiving lots of love in my absence.”
18. Ali C.
“Ali was able to visit my cat on last minute notice after I had to go out of town unexpectedly. She communicated well and sent several pics during the visit. Everything was in order when I returned. Would book again.”
19. Varun T.
“Highly recommend Varun, he sends Me updates all the time of his stay with Coco . Coco loved him. He's very attentive and super nice”

About: I am a dog owner myself, I have a golden retriever who is now 2 years old. My past family dog, now 6, was a maltipoo. I have always loved dogs and enjoy training them. I am extremely meticulous and detail orientated when it comes to pet care. I love sending silly photos and frequent updates. I am a user of Rover and have frequently met great sitters for my own dog, and now excited to become a Rover sitter. I know how it feels to be on both sides. As an anxious owner myself, I completely understand your worry and stress leaving your dog. I would love the opportunity to let YOU enjoy your time away, knowing your baby is in good hands. I am comfortable with all breeds and ages, puppies as well as senior dogs. My dog is crate trained but can be free roaming, so if that’s something you prefer, let me know! I am able to administer medication if your dog requires extra attention. I always encourage play, socialization (not just meeting other dogs but new experiences and things to see), mental stimulation, as well as enforced downtime /naps. I will follow your directions to the T, so the more information you give the better. Still uncomfortable? Let’s schedule a meet and greet! Additional disclaimer: I am generally pretty cautious or hesitant about dog parks for my own dog even though she is friendly. This is my personal belief as a pet owner as there are risks of her getting hurt by unknown dogs. She plays with dogs whose owners I can trust/ communicate with. I am protective and do not let other dogs approach her unless the other dog owner has asked permission first. Know that I will keep this caution with your dog as well. If you would prefer me to take your dog to the dog park, please understand and ensure you are comfortable with the risks before asking me to do so. Your pet’s safety is my number one concern! I am a consultant, planning on going back to school soon. I work from home and have a flexible schedule. I enjoy walks, hikes, and frequent coffee shops nearby. I am active and go on runs 4-5x a week, if that is something your pet is interested in. I leave the house to grab groceries nearby or to run/gym for 1-2 hours max but can schedule around if your pup needs me. I understand not everyone has the flexibility to take their dogs out while they work, so I hope to be that for you! My dog is crate trained and I am comfortable with crates. Separate play and rest time is possible. I live in a two story apartment and the upstairs is the kitchen and living room, which dogs are allowed on furniture. I am very meticulous about keeping my floors/counters clear and clean so your pup does not get into anything they’re not supposed to. I am constantly keeping a watchful eye. I only feed what is provided/approved by you. If your dog happens to suffer from a sensitive stomach on my watch, I can also help provide a bland diet. In the event your pet has an emergency, please know I will take them to the closest emergency vet and be in contact immediately. Any instructions, paperwork will be discussed with you asap or to an emergency contact you provide. I cannot and will not proceed without your permission and consent.
