I have 2 high energy Australian Shepherds myself and know what goes into caring for and walking dogs. We have a big fenced in yard and have experience dogsitting at our house. About: I've had pets all my life. I've had dogs, cats, fish, and turtles. I've also cared for hamsters, rabbits, and guinea pigs before. I've walked, fed, bathed, house sat, and played with pets belonging to family and friends. Having had my own pets throughout my life, I know how precious furry friends are. About: I love animals! Interacting with them feeds my soul. I think cats and dogs can sense how happy I am to be around them plus how much I love them, making it easy and fulfilling to form bonds. I’ve worked with shy cats and dogs too, and enjoy patiently and gently winning them over. My clients have been German Shepherds, Golden Retrievers, Huskies, a senior Beagle, Australian Cattle Dog and small to medium dogs. I am a lover of all breeds. I also have experience with house sitting kittens to senior cats. Volunteering at Kitten Rescue LA, I socialize with various breeds, ages and personalities. It’s also fun to meet pet parents and connect with the community. For all new clients, I prefer doing an initial meet and greet to discuss specific care details. Thank you to all who checked in*** I will reActive when slots become available! *please leave a text msg either through Rovers messenger or cell phone text so there is a written conversation for both parties to reference* ** ** Residential walks are 20/hr hikes are 35. Those with a higher energy level I do hikes with but that is all based on the client's age, agility and their leash training. For 1 dog per Hike is $35 With new clients I like to have a "meet and greet" at their pickup location before walking services begin. That way I am not a "stranger" to them for pick up on our first hike and get to learn a bit about their behavior. Hikes involve water breaks as needed but usually at halfway point and at the end of the hike with a paw check. Hikes and residential walks are tracked via gps app which you will get a screen shot of so you know where we went, the distance and time. For hikes I also film for short session videos usually about 35-45 second videos that I send via text message. Treats are optional. I use Hebrew national hot dogs; which are cut into small circles and those circles get cut into 4. So two small circles turn into 8 nibble size treats. If you have preferred treats that you currently use I will use those, or if you don't want any treats used thats ok too. For a 1 hour residential walk is $20 per dog. Usually no water breaks but depending on the weather there may be a halfway point water break. I also film parts of the residential walk and will send a short 30-40 second video via text message. I only do hikes and walks Monday, Wednesday,Friday. I currently have a 7AM slot open Monday, Wednesday and Friday available. **ONLY 7AM slot available** I have to pick up my son from school so I only walk dogs during the morning hours. I take care of my dogs at home. One is a senior that takes an oral medication twice a day. Sorry I don't do boarding.

About: I grew up with dogs and have loved having them in my life ever since. My family had Cocker Spaniels and Golden Retrievers, and later I adopted a mixed-breed dog of my own. Having my own dog taught me that every pup is different. Some are immediately affectionate and trusting, while others need a little more patience and time before they feel safe with someone new. I learned how important it is to pay attention to their cues, respect their boundaries, and let trust build naturally. I genuinely love getting to know each dog’s personality and making them feel comfortable, cared for, and loved while their person is away. I work remotely as a brand designer, so pet care fits very naturally into my everyday routine. I’m home throughout most of the day and already take regular breaks to get outside and walk, which means plenty of opportunities for walks, potty breaks, playtime, and attention. My schedule also gives me the flexibility to follow each dog’s usual routine as closely as possible. I know every dog has their own personality, boundaries, and routine, so I like to take the time to let them get comfortable with me at their own pace. I follow the care instructions you provide, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, house rules, and any little routines that help your dog feel at home. When caring for a dog in my apartment, they’ll have a clean, comfortable, air-conditioned space and plenty of company since I work from home. When staying in a client’s home, I’m equally mindful and respectful of both their pet’s routine and their space. My goal is always for your dog to feel safe, relaxed, and cared for while you’re away.

About: I'm a puppy raiser for a service dog agency as well as help keep my daughter's service dog in working condition. Bully breeds to mastiffs to Chihuahuas, I've worked with them all. I'm currently raising my second pup for a service dog agency. I have a soft place in my heart for senior dogs. I'm a special education teacher by trade and walking dogs afternoons/evenings/weekends is the perfect way for me to relax . Pets are my happy place. Pets are our family and should be treated as such, whether it's our energetic cousin or our elderly loved one. They all deserve our love.

About: Welcome to Sung & So Pet Care! Our family, including our beloved Cocker Spaniel Sunny, provides a cage-free, loving home for dogs. With over 4 years of experience caring for various breeds, we follow each dog’s routine closely and ensure every pet gets plenty of walks, playtime, and attention, just like Sunny enjoys every day. I stay at home every day, making food and taking care of the dogs. My husband goes to work every day and my son goes to school in the morning and goes home to do other activities. On his free time, he usually plays games or plays with the dogs. I care for pets in a safe, calm, and loving environment where they are treated like family. In my home, dogs stay in a cage-free space and are supervised throughout the day. I follow each pet’s regular routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and rest. I also reinforce basic manners and leash etiquette during walks. Upon request, I provide homemade meals or treats once a day in addition to their regular food, and for long-term stays, I offer bathing services. To ensure a healthy environment, all pets must be up to date on vaccinations, spayed or neutered, and on regular flea prevention. I require advance booking and strongly recommend a meet-and-greet visit before care begins so pets can feel comfortable and adjust well. I am passionate about caring for animals and provide a safe, fun loving environment, tailored to you and your pets needs. My home and yard are extremely secure, and pets are welcome inside and out. About: ~ I consider myself a compassionate caretaker in as much as I do. ~ * Although I have only had two dogs of my own: a Spaniel-mix (rescue) & Terrier-mix (from a litter) I took upon a role of part-time caretaker, by helping to feed, walk, and bathe our dogs. I enjoyed using a k9sportsack to carry our smaller pup on extended hikes when terrain was tough. I hope that your pet can enjoy their time with my family and myself - as I believe we are keen to sense a pet's basic needs. Personally, I know of fun &/or calm places to take pets on brief outings outdoors, including trails &/or parks. I also take time to clean up along the way, or afterwards. Our home is small to medium sized, and good for up to 1-2 pets maximum (if they are already house trained), to take naps within, and/or sleep overnight. Our Backyard, half-grass/half-patio is also on the small to medium scale, with fencing on all three sides. The outdoor yard has side access (to a Garage) with two gates (one is removeable) along the way. Both front & back yards contain flowers, herbs, and fruit-bearing trees that you or your pet may find pleasant to be around. Currently, we are only accepting small to medium sized dogs that are already well-trained & socialized. I currently work/volunteer part-time - which gives me about every other morning to take your dog outside on a specific hike (if deemed suitable & appropriate), as well as check in on them throughout the day for basic feeding and breaks in the backyard. Currently we have five members to our household, and each person does a part to help out with boarding pets, which includes some combination of feeding, walking, playing, bathing, and 'light' grooming. We are open to any & all suggestions that specifically pertain to your pet and will to our best to make adjustments accordingly.
