I’ve worked in a veterinary clinic as well as taken care of dogs and cats whether it be my own, or a roommates for majority of my life. I also am an active dog walker on other platforms. I work remotely which allows me to be out and about during the day. My job is flexible in that I don’t need to be at home and can work according to my schedule. I’m also very active and try to spend as much time outside or out of the house as possible so pet care is ideal for my situation. I do not currently have a pet of my own. However when it comes to anyone’s pet I care for them as I would my own but with the awareness that I am (initially) a stranger to them. Caring but with caution. A pet is someone’s baby in a sense and should be cared for as such.

She only stayed one night out of two and fed our dog some canned dog food from the pantry that was not part of the instructions. There were some messes by the time we returned.

A typical day
Aside from walks I love hiking. There are several trails I frequent that I’d love to take dogs if permitted by the owner. Parks are also an option…basically anywhere outdoors that is dog-friendly, I’m there.
