I'm a former clinical research nurse coordinator dealing with human patients for 20 years before becoming disabled. I have had pets all of my life. I have adopted several cats and dogs from the humane society including a 3 legged Siamese cat who was a Siamese twin that surgically separated from his sister leaving them both with 3 legs. I have trained several my dogs including a temperamental Dalmatian mix. I currently have a 13 year old Chihuahua/American Eskimo mix, who has Cushing's Disease that is on medication twice a day, a 9 year old Rat Terrier/Toy Poodle mix and an 8 year old black short haired cat that loves snuggling. My little dogs love to play what I call trick or treat. The kitty loves to play fetch the hair elastic and fishing. I have recently started pet sitting for a cat in the neighborhood. I've always loved animals and as a child I wanted to be a veterinarian.

I make sure that the pets are fed, have water, and go potty, (which means cleaning up after them.) Of course play with and walk the dogs. I would come to your home at intervals of 1, 2 or 3 times a day or if you or if you need I can stay at your home to care for your pet.

Karen was a life saver. We had to travel unexpectedly and she took care of the cats without a problem. She’s been great for us.
Karen was excellent. She visited the cats before the visits, provided great updates and photos, attended to our cat’s medication and helped us feel good about leaving them alone in a new house for the first time. Highly recommend!
Karen took great care of our cat while we were recently away on vacation. Her updates were very detailed and helpful. I would highly recommend her!
Karen was fantastic. She covered 10 days for us, house & dog. We received daily updates and photos which were great. Karen also took care of watering house plants and our fruit trees in the yard. Overall, we couldn’t have found anyone nicer or more helpful!
Karen has cat sat for our 13 year old cat multiple times. She is thoroughly reliable and a very warm person. I highly recommend her! Plus, she’s a very good photographer. Each time she visits she sends us many pictures of our darling Kitty.
Karen has been an amazing cat sitter - her reports are detailed, she is very prompt and reliable and she gives our cats lots of love and attention!

I am a former clinical research nurse with 20 years of nursing experience who has been on disability for 10 years. I lost my husband to pancreatic cancer 4 years ago and I now am looking to supplement my income by working with animals and giving and receiving unconditional love.
