About: I grew up with two dogs and currently have a cat, so I have years of hands on experience caring for both dogs and cats. My dogs are still an important part of my life, and caring for them has taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and understanding each pet's unique personality and needs. I am comfortable with feeding, walking, playtime, cleaning up after pets, and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I treat every pet as if they were my own and will provide plenty of attention, care, and companionship while you're away. 🐾 I'm a college student with a flexible schedule, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to pet care throughout the week. I can accommodate feeding schedules, playtime, litter box cleaning, walks, and check ins while making sure pets receive the care and companionship they need. Since I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, pet care fits naturally into my daily routine and I make it a priority to provide reliable, attentive care for every pet. 🐾 For drop in visits, I care for pets in the comfort of their own home where they feel safest and most relaxed. I follow each pet's routine by providing fresh food and water, cleaning litter boxes or taking dogs out for potty breaks, playtime, exercise, and plenty of attention. I always respect your home's rules and make sure doors, gates, and windows are secure before leaving. Whether your pet is energetic and playful or prefers a calmer approach, I adapt to their needs to ensure they feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for while you're away. 🐾🐶🐱
About: I’ve had animals in my life for as long as I can remember, from growing up with a cat to horseback riding, owning a horse, helping care for other people’s horses, walking friends’ dogs and having dogs of my own, including a German shepherd and two dachshunds. I currently don’t have pets, which is a big reason I’m signing up for Rover. I miss having animals around and would love to help care for yours. I’m an avid walker and hiker, so getting in my steps with a furry companion sounds wonderful. I’m comfortable with both larger and small dogs, and I also love cats, whether that means cuddling, giving them space or simply making sure they are well cared for. While I’m new to pet sitting through Rover, I’m a responsible, competent and trusted animal lover. Having had my own dogs, I know how much it means to find someone reliable and kind to care for your furry family members while you’re at work or on vacation. I’m a semi-retired freelancer with a flexible schedule and plenty of availability throughout the day. I prefer early morning through mid-afternoon visits, but will try to be accommodating according to your schedule. I don’t have a fenced yard and am not able to host pets in my home, but I’m very happy to come to you for drop-in visits, cat care and neighborhood walks. I love getting outside with dogs and am equally happy to to spend indoor time with cats.

About: I’ve had a love for animals for as long as I can remember. As a little kid, I would spend hours at my aunt’s house playing with her dogs — my mom would even have to come call me so I’d finally go home! Growing up, I had many different types of pets, but the one thing I always dreamed of having was a dog of my own. I begged my parents for years, and when I finally got my first dog at 13 years old, he instantly became my whole world. From a very young age, I was always the person friends and family trusted with their pets. I watched a friend’s cat while they were away and even cared for my school’s bunny for an entire day! Later on, when I moved to Sydney, Australia, I volunteered at an animal rescue center and spent the next 10 years pet sitting for both dogs and cats — something I truly loved and felt very passionate about. I have experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages, from energetic puppies and kittens to sweet senior dogs who need extra patience and attention. I recently lost my own beloved senior dog, so I deeply understand the gentle, specialized care, and massive amount of love older pets need in their golden years. Because of this, I’m incredibly comfortable monitoring their comfort, administering medication, and making sure they feel entirely safe and relaxed while you are away. Caring for animals has always come naturally to me, and I treat every pet with the same love, patience, and attention I would give my own. <3 Since I’m currently home full-time, I have a super flexible schedule with plenty of open availability Monday through Sunday, so I can easily fit into your pet's regular daily routine without a problem. Whether you need a consistent daily walker while you're at work, or last-minute drop-in visits because something popped up, I’m around and ready to step in whenever you need an extra hand." In Your Home: When I come by for drop-ins or to pick up your dog, I treat your home with total respect. I always make sure doors are securely locked, keys are safely stored, and your home is exactly how you left it. Plus, I love giving cats and dogs lots of love, refreshing their water, and making sure they are comfy before I leave. Out on Walks: Safety is everything when we are out on an adventure. I always keep dogs securely on-leash, stay highly aware of our surroundings, and steer clear of any unpredictable situations or unfamiliar dogs. Keeping You Posted: I know how hard it is to be away, so I always send a quick update and some cute photos during or right after my visit. You'll never have to wonder how they are doing!

“We’re so thankful we found Maria to care for Odin and Loki. She was on time, kept us in the loop, and the boys were clearly happy and relaxed with her. From the first meeting, it was obvious she had a natural way with dogs, and we felt comfortable. She stayed responsive to our questions and made the whole experience stress-free. Truly grateful for her help — we’d happily book with her again and highly recommend her!”

Oakmont pet parents share their Rover experiences
Kaylah was so gentle and great towards moomoo! She was cautious not to get too close as he gets anxious and took her time getting go know him. We had a non stressful vacation knowing we were in such great hands. Every report was detailed loaded with a bunch of photos. I would highly recommend booking Kaylah to take care of your precious fur babies!

Wow. I cannot say enough about how wonderful the experience was having Alex look after my 2 kittens. It’s always stressful to be away from pets, but all of the positive reviews I read about Alex turned out to be true. He gave detailed reports of his interactions with my little guys and sent lots of photos. This gave me so much reassurance that all was well. I recommend Alex 100% if you want the very best care for your fur babies.

Barbara is the best sitter! She takes care of my cat Lancelot every time we travel. She gives him a lot of love and affection, and will go far and beyond to take care of unexpected things that happen when you travel (like plumbing issues). Thank you, Barbara!

Tomoko was a great pet sitter for my senior cat. She is very kind, generous, and accommodating, and my cat was genuinely cared for while i was away. She sent very detailed updates and took great pictures. I felt so safe that my cat was in her capable hands and I will gladly book her services again next time.

Ritzwi & Ben were wonderful from start to finish. They were always on time, very communicative, and incredibly kind. When heavy rains caused some minor basement flooding, they went above and beyond to help us manage it, which meant a lot and gave us real peace of mind. Most importantly, they were so sweet and attentive with our cats—clearly thinking about their comfort and happiness, not just checking a box. They made time for play, pets, and genuine care. We’d happily trust them with our home and pets again.

Highly highly recommend booking Ruby for your next trip. This is our third or fourth(?) time booking Ruby for an out of town trip and I cannot stress how much of a relief it is to leave our little kitty with someone he has grown to really love and to not worry about him at all. As always, Ruby goes above and beyond in her care and communication. She's super responsive and we look forward to getting little report cards where it is clear that Cantaloupe gets all of Ruby's love and attention during her drop-ins with him, and that she really intentionally spends time him doing all his favorite activities: chasing lasers, getting brushed, the occasional treat. It's been so fun to see Cantaloupe bond more with her after every trip. Thanks again Ruby - we appreciate you ❤️
