About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover who genuinely enjoys spending time with pets of all personalities and energy levels. I got my dog when I was 5 years old and he was truly my best friend for 17 years. Ever since then, dogs have always been a huge part of my life. After moving from Minnesota to California, I had the opportunity to work on the TV show Dog Whisperer with Cesar Millan and it’s still one of the best jobs I’ve ever had! Being around dogs every day only deepened my appreciation for how unique and special they are. When I got engaged, my then roommate surprised me with a puppy party Bridal Shower! She knew I didn’t want anything traditional so when I walked into our apartment and there were puppies running all over the kitchen, I almost died of happiness! These days, I’m building my own genealogy research business and looking to spend more time caring for animals again through dog walks, drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, and companionship. While I’ve always been a dog person, many of my friends have cats, so I’ve grown into a cat lover too! I’m patient, dependable, attentive, and genuinely happy around animals. Whether your pet needs a walk, play time, or just someone caring to check in on them, I’d love to help. My schedule is currently pretty flexible, especially for daytime walks and drop-in visits. I primarily serve pets close to my neighborhood, which allows me to provide dependable care and consistent availability throughout the week. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I pay close attention during walks and visits to make sure pets are secure, comfortable, and well-cared for at all times.

“Gabriela's catsitting for our cat Riddle was the definition of above and beyond. Our cat is one year old and very energetic. When this meant that she toppled the auto-feeding machine that we had set up for the mornings (multiple times), Gabriela went out of her way to come to our apartment outside of her scheduled check-ins (multiple times) to make sure Riddle still got fed and to fix the machine (ultimately improvising a clever solution to support it involving a scarf and a bookshelf). Needless to say, we will be getting a new auto-feeder but keeping the same catsitter in the future if we can, haha. Gabriela was attentive and helpful and Riddle was head over hills for her, I would absolutely recommend her to look after your pet!”

About: As soon as I gained consciousness, all I wanted was a dog. I begged and begged until my parents finally relented when I was seven and we got our family dog, Bouser. He lived for 16 long years, and we made him very comfortable during his senior years. Because of him, I've got a soft spot for the older doggos. My love for animals has been lifelong. In high school, my community service was volunteering at a dog and cat shelter. One of my first jobs was at a doggy day care, and I loved it. I then worked as a professional pet sitter for three years with a reputable and insured company, and never had an unhappy client. In fact, I had many recurring clients and I love and miss them all! I have lived with cats of varied personalities and will be patient with your fur baby. I was also a proud hedgehog mom to the sweetest hedgie!! I just love animals so much! I work on a TV show and I'm between seasons so I'm fully available to look after your pet for the next couple of months! I live in a studio apartment of a pet-friendly building in a quiet neighborhood, so walks and potty breaks are not a problem. Of course, cuddles and attention are not even in question. There will be photos, videos, and daily updates when I'm looking after your babies. About: My Cairn Terriers (like Toto from Oz) hike Griffith and Runyon, chase squirrels, dig holes, play fetch at Weddington Park and take long walks. Sometimes we just lay in the sun or snuggle on the couch, but this is a loving home that is grain free, caters to the Fluff gang and we’re big on patience and attention. I've raised five dogs in my life - German Shepard, Black Lab, Lhasa Opso and now my Cairns. Having learned so much from each of them and the love I have for dogs in general, I'm excited to welcome your loved one into my home and help you be at ease knowing they're well cared for. I know nothing can keep you from missing your pet, but a confidence in them being comfortable and loved while you're away is a great help. ***Originally DogVacay, I’ve been with the service since 2010 and rarely open up to new clients. After a few folks moved out of town and others had kids which limited travel time, I’m opening up again. My preference would be to begin those same kind of long term care relationships with people who travel often or for larger lengths of time which allows your pup to feel as though they’re always going to a safe and familiar space with friends they know and love playing with. Working from home has allowed me to better care for my own senior pups and also gives me the freedom to spoil your loved one as well. My two friendly senior pups and I enjoy a gated back yard that still sees birds and squirrels enough to entertain them while being safe from any interactions. We have astroturf for back scratching and enjoying the sun, as well as a front yard, quiet cul de sac streets and a giant park for leisurely walks.

About: Having a dog and 2 cats as a kid was the best childhood! I am home most of the day so I have lots of time to walk and play with your pup! I live with my boyfriend who also loves animals. I have been freelance dog sitting/walking for the last year through friends but looking for more furry friends here! I am based in North Hollywood and generally service Noho, Burbank, Toluca Lake, Studio City and parts of Sherman Oaks I don’t accept animals from multiple households at once for my safety and theirs. I have multiple screen doors where they can safely watch the world outside at all the people and dogs who might pass by. I can also offer daytime sitting in someone’s home as long as my laptop and internet access is allowed!

About: I have taken care of friends' dogs and neighbors' dogs a lot growing up. I have had the same dog since I was 6 years old, and he is now 16 years old. I love taking care of him and hanging out with him. I have done a lot of walking dogs as well. I am currently looking for part-time work as a server. I recently graduated from college and am looking to focus on personal health for a few months before looking for full-time jobs. Because of this, my schedule and routine are flexible in a way that accommodates pet care. I live in an apartment with roommates, so I do not currently own pets, and I cannot house pets in my place. With my childhood dog, I would always participate in his feeding, walking, grooming/washing, and taking him on walks. I loved sitting with him and giving him pets as well.
