“I was anxious about hiring someone to watch the cats for the first time. Robbie made it easy and stress-free. He was great at communicating updates on the Kitties while I was away. My really shy cat warmed up to Robbie. He was great. I'll be hiring him the next time I'm away.”

“Thank you Elizabeth for accommodating our last minute need for two drop in visits last Friday. I am extremely happy with your service. Look forward to having you come again.”

“Fearless, caring, dependable, and not afraid to call reinforcements when she needs it. She can be trusted with your pets, trust me, we have four. They were rascals just to say the least of it. One of them was feral actually, swipe her a few times, even got her neck, but she came back the next day with battle scars and an unwavering tenacity to get the job done. She worked with others well to provide our cats, insulin, food, and love. We were quite worried actually and thought of coming home early from our trip, but, to our pleasant surprise we were able to stay the full length of our weekend trip. She was even so thoughtful as to leave babies gifts, which was not necessary at all! Would definitely use her in the future, I would recommend this sitter to anybody who has babies that are in need of attention and care, with the detail and consistency that ensures the safe and relaxing cat sitting experience!”

“Nicole was such a great sitter! Our cat requires eye drops every 12 hours and she followed instructions to a T and asked follow up questions when necessary. She made our first time out of town stress free and our cat looked so happy to spend time with her. Would definitely recommend and book again!!”

“Georgia is always so friendly and sends me wonderful updates and plenty of pics and videos of my kitty (if she can get them!)! You can tell she has such a love for animals! Highly recommend!”

“Annika has been extremely reliable with helping us on the drop in visits when our schedules at work are crazy. We always feel confident that our pups will be safe and loved when she drops in. She also keeps us updated during the stay which is always a plus and gives us the peace of mind that the pups are ok! Thank you Annika!”

“Sidney did an incredible job with my two cats! She took care of them for an entire week and when I returned I could tell that they had been loved and taken care of the entire time. I loved her daily updates and it was really nice getting photos of them so I knew they were alright. I’ll definitely be booking with her again!”
“Satoia took really good care of my Snickles! She kept me updated and sent pictures and video, which gave me peace of mind that Snickles was in good hands. Snickles has been finicky about taking her medication but Satoia did some quick thing and found a way to get her to take them, which I am so grateful for. I highly recommend Satoia to look after your pet!”
About: Humble brag incoming: I'm a dog's kinda person. I just vibe with them and we are often drawn to each other when I'm out walking around Los Angeles. I will hear a dog parent say things like "My dog never likes other people." or a dog will spot me from afar and refuse to move until I say Hello. It's happened so often, that I'm convinced I was a dog in a past life. Truly, there is no feeling better then building a connection with a dog; When they are excited to see you, there is no better positive affirmation. I've had dogs since my teen years in the 90s and cats since I left for college in the 2000s. I love getting to know cats and earning their trust. Im always hopeful for a head butt, but I respect their boundaries always. I'm looking forward to meeting your dogs and cats. Tell em I said Hi. I'm available to watch your fur babies anytime. Check with me if you need anyone for an early walk for your pup or an evening visit to feed your cat if you can't make it home. My kitty roommate is self-sufficient at home, so staying with your pet overnight is very doable. I will come to your home to care for your animals in their home environment. First, I will always be a calming, kind presence to your fur baby. Second, I enjoy getting to give them a lil workout. Dogs need that movement to feel normal and I love being there for it! You tell me if the walk should be brief and in the neighborhood or if your dog likes to hike, I offer that, too. Panting dogs after a walk are my favorite. As for kitties, I Approach With Caution and as a roommate to a feline myself, I know some will take a minute to let their guard down. I know how to read body language of animals and I take every step possible to make sure they are at ease, well fed and cared for.

“DJ is amazing! He really goes above and beyond. My animals are happy and I don’t return home to a crazy mess. My younger cat is rather messy, but DJ always takes some time to straighten up behind her.”

Open to sitting, walking, playing, anything you need! Excited for this opportunity. I live in a gated apartment building. I live alone. I am trustworthy and responsible when entering clients homes as well. I have my own car that I park I a garage as well
About: I’ve spent my entire with two or more dogs/cats being a part of my family. Not having a pet of my own in Los Angeles, I always hop on the opportunity to pet sit and spend as much time as I can with any and all animals. When sitting, I love being active with pets. This means walks, play time, or just hanging out on the couch. I would love to meet your furry friend!! I am open to early morning walks, overnight stays, and daytime sitting with pets. As long as the schedule is consistent, I can make anything work! I believe in spending quality time with pets and having them be an active part of my day. This means frequent walks, lots of play time, and being around them even I’m doing other work. When in someone else’s home, I always make sure to leave it nicer than I found it and respect their boundaries. I know I’m a guest and want to behave as such.
About: I've been taking care of our canine friends since the age of ten. I truly enjoy taking them for walks, caring for them, and for those that can taking them on adventures. Every dog I've had lived a long, full life so I have significant experience with senior dogs and their needs. This includes adjusting the walk routine, administering medicine and making special accommodations for their unique needs I have an adjustable schedule that I can tailor to my clients needs, if that means more one on one time I can dedicate the needed time for that. I have two friendly dogs and a very friendly cat, that have access to a fenced in property and a grassy area for lounging. I also have quick access to Runyon Canyon for hiking.
About: love dogs at every stage of life, from playful puppies to sweet senior companions. I’m attentive, patient, and committed to understanding each dog’s unique needs. I’ll work closely with you to create a schedule that keeps your dog happy, comfortable, and well cared for. I have a consulting business, so I make my own hours and schedule. I can be available with short notice if needed for recurring clients. I care for pets by following their normal routines as closely as possible to keep them comfortable and stress-free. In a client’s home, I respect their space and ensure feeding, walks, playtime, and any special instructions are followed carefully. I prioritize safety, consistency, and communication so you always know how your pet is doing.
About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life, as both of my parents are veterinarians. That environment gave me a deep understanding of animal behavior, health, and emotional needs from a very young age. I have hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats of all temperaments, including puppies, seniors, and more sensitive or anxious pets. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, administering basic medications, and creating a calm, safe environment tailored to each pet. What sets me apart is not just experience, but genuine care, I pay attention, I’m patient, and I treat every pet like family. My schedule is flexible, which allows me to give pets the time, attention, and consistency they need. I can accommodate morning, afternoon, and evening visits, as well as overnight care when needed. I prioritize being present and not rushing through visits, so your pet gets real attention, not just a quick check-in. I’m reliable, communicative, and committed to making sure your pet feels secure and cared for while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I create a calm, clean, and secure environment where pets can feel at ease. I pay close attention to details whether that’s securely closing doors, monitoring behavior, or following specific care instructions exactly as given. Because of my background, I’m very aware of signs of stress or discomfort and respond quickly and responsibly. I also keep owners updated with messages and photos, so you always feel connected and reassured. You can trust that your pet will be treated with patience, respect, and genuine care at all times.
“Stefano took great care of my cat, Urus. I enjoyed the photos he sent me of my cat during my time away. Stefano did a great job in making Urus feel comfortable and I came home to a clean apartment. I would definitely recommend Stefano and look forward to booking him again.”

“Olivia has been amazing with my very demanding and anxious Shiba. Throughout the last 1.5 years, we are moving and I can’t imagine finding someone as good as her in my new place, she is amazing! Super communicative and reliable so if you’re looking for someone who’s going to love and care for your pet as much as you do go with Olivia! 🐾🖤”

“If I could give Lorinda a million stars I would. As an anxious cat mom my mind was completely at ease with Lorinda’s in depth updates, kindness, professionalism and respect for my home. I returned to two very happy, relaxed kitties. Could not be more thankful!”

“Very nice lady! She kept checking in with me sending me pictures and did everything how I asked! Will definitely keep her as my dog sitter. I felt so comfortable. Thank Sydney! My dogs loved you”

Second time booking Stefano and he was just as great as the first. Goose and Ducky are shy cats who normally hide from anyone new, but they clearly remembered him and settled in fast. He kept up the daily photos and updates while I was in Texas with family, which made the whole trip easier. Everything was tidy when I got home and both cats were happy and well fed. If you have shy or anxious cats, book him. We’ll keep doing it.

Cindy was amazing with Cosmo. She was always on time, sent us really great photos, and even stayed a little longer after knowing he had been nervous from the fire alarm testing earlier that day. She also paid attention to small details, like putting the used bowls and spoons neatly in the sink after feeding. She also left us a Polaroid photo of Cosmo and some cute stickers, which was such a sweet surprise. We felt very comfortable having Cindy watch Cosmo and would definitely book with her again. Highly recommend!

Mia is a life saver. Booked way last minute and she was able to help out with my two bengal boys. They really enjoyed her company and playtime. I can tell how the energy was by how the boys respond to us coming home afterwards and they were totally chill. Mia moved to the top of the sitter list and takes awesome photos and she asked questions as needed which was appreciated and even offered to buy new toys for them since she wasn’t aware how feral the boys get with their toys. She’s a delight and so good with pets and a good human highly recommended.

We were so worried when we found out our friend would not be able to help us watch our little kitty while we were out of town for the week. We scrambled and hopped on Rover and found Carolin. She not only was able to help us on short notice but she patiently gained the trust of our shy little girl. We really appreciate Carolin’s help and will definitely use her in future adventures knowing our cat was is good hands.
Amanda took excellent care of our two fur baby kitties! She was thorough and thoughtful about every aspect, even catching a discrepancy I made in my detailed written instructions as compared to the meet and greet orientation. She was communicative and warm. Both our cats seemed to enjoy spending time with her, including the shy one! We’ll definitely be booking with Amanda again, and highly recommend her! Thank you, Amanda!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
