“Elizabeth helped take care of our two big dogs at the last minute due to a family emergency. She was able to meet the dogs before we left and got along well with them. She came early in the morning to let them out and late to put them out before bed. She kept us updated with pictures in the rover card. We look forward to having her walk our dogs in the future. Thank you again!!”

“Satoia took really good care of my Snickles! She kept me updated and sent pictures and video, which gave me peace of mind that Snickles was in good hands. Snickles has been finicky about taking her medication but Satoia did some quick thing and found a way to get her to take them, which I am so grateful for. I highly recommend Satoia to look after your pet!”

“Colette and my two cats hit it off instantly. It's easy to see why animals love her! She's thoughtful, responsive, consistent, and kind. Thanks so much for taking care of them Colette! Koko”

About: I have a genuine love for animals and years of experience, caring for pets of all shapes and sizes. I will provide attentive, reliable and compassionate care for your pets and understand that every pet is unique so I will take the time to get to know their personality, preferences, and routines to ensure they feel safe happy and loved in my care. I am trustworthy and detail oriented and will keep you updated with pictures and messages so you can relax knowing they are in good hands! I currently work a fully remote job and have a flexible schedule with plenty of time between responsibilities to be able to tend to your pets needs. I currently care for two small dogs with two totally different personalities and so I plan to only care for client’s pets in their own homes for the safety and comfortability of all.

“Bruce was a great sitter for Mimi. His check in times were prompt and on time each day. Even when the app was having trouble Bruce made sure to contact us so we knew Mimi was getting care. Thanks Bruce!”

“Genesis was lovely and made sure my cat was so well taken care of while I was gone! Sent so many pictures and was extremely thorough, felt very safe leaving my cat in her hands. ❤️❤️❤️”

“So so sweet! I felt comforted knowing that my babies were being so well taken care of :) I received so many pictures and videos that I looked forward to every day Will definitely be booking again”

“Fearless, caring, dependable, and not afraid to call reinforcements when she needs it. She can be trusted with your pets, trust me, we have four. They were rascals just to say the least of it. One of them was feral actually, swipe her a few times, even got her neck, but she came back the next day with battle scars and an unwavering tenacity to get the job done. She worked with others well to provide our cats, insulin, food, and love. We were quite worried actually and thought of coming home early from our trip, but, to our pleasant surprise we were able to stay the full length of our weekend trip. She was even so thoughtful as to leave babies gifts, which was not necessary at all! Would definitely use her in the future, I would recommend this sitter to anybody who has babies that are in need of attention and care, with the detail and consistency that ensures the safe and relaxing cat sitting experience!”

“BrieAnna is the best, we use her for weekly walks, and she went above and beyond when doing drop in checks for my dog while I was out of town! So communicative and thoughtful!”

“Valentin is always so kind and thoughtful! Our pup is so very happy with him and he constantly communicates with us, ensuring we are feeling secure about our dog’s needs. She’s lucky to have him, as are we!”

“Annika has been extremely reliable with helping us on the drop in visits when our schedules at work are crazy. We always feel confident that our pups will be safe and loved when she drops in. She also keeps us updated during the stay which is always a plus and gives us the peace of mind that the pups are ok! Thank you Annika!”

“Amalie was so wonderful. The cats were drawn to her straight away, which is unusual for them! Perfect communication and great flexibility. We would definitely recommend her and will certainly have her cat sit again!”

About: I had dogs and other pets since I was a small child. I’ve cared for labs, great danes, golden doodles, pomskys, beagiliers and more. I’ve dog sat on countless occasions and love getting in some excercise walking dogs. I have a very flexible schedule since I am still a college student. I am able to be around and relax within the pet’s company while doing homework or I love going on walks to get some exercise so it’s always been easy taking dogs out. I have plenty of time to keep pets company. I enjoy playing and being in their company. There’s nothing better than sitting with a pet and making sure they’re comfortable and entertained.
“Nicole was really great with my blind kitten Bonnie! They became fast friends and played the entire time. Nicole is a great communicator and listened/paid attention to all of the details given for my special kitten which is great for an anxious pet parent like me.”

“Olivia has been amazing with my very demanding and anxious Shiba. Throughout the last 1.5 years, we are moving and I can’t imagine finding someone as good as her in my new place, she is amazing! Super communicative and reliable so if you’re looking for someone who’s going to love and care for your pet as much as you do go with Olivia! 🐾🖤”

About: I grew up with both dogs and cats. I have a deep love of all animals and miss my own pets now that I live on the west coast. Would love the opportunity to care for my neighbors pets I am available before work (930am) and after work (630pm). I am also flexible on weekends. Open to sitting, walking, playing, anything you need! Excited for this opportunity. I live in a gated apartment building. I live alone. I am trustworthy and responsible when entering clients homes as well. I have my own car that I park I a garage as well
About: I've taken care of pets since I was 11, including neighbors dogs, turtles, cats, and fish, as well as my own fur babies. I am really good at getting a dog to eat food (with creative solutions) and I have experience with giving oral medication to a kitty. I work part times in the afternoon, so that means I have a lot of free time to care for your lovely pets. On the weekends, I work in the mornings so the afternoons are free. My home is a nice spacious apartment. Not too big, but okay for pets to fully roam and explore the premises. When it comes to cats, I'm really good at feeding them on time, especially if they have a certain schedule. I absolutely thrive on the structure and can provide that for your pets as well. When it comes to dogs, I will walk and feed them every morning and night, including a good noon/afternoon walk as well. And like I said, because my apartment is spacious, it will create room for lots of fun playing. And definitely enough room for the zoomies.

Beiwei was great! She followed all of our instructions when taking care of our little guy, and sent us update pictures everyday. I especially appreciated her taking photos of how much food and water was being distributed per day and showing his litter all clean. Would book again!!

Lorinda is so fantastic! After my last sitter moved, I was hesitant about trying anyone new, but within a single visit, Lorinda eased all my anxieties about leaving my baby for a week. She’s thorough, communicative, and genuinely cares and my little girl Pixee 🤍 I couldn’t ask for a better sitter for her, and I could tell from day 1 that Pixee loved her! Very happy that we found Lorinda and will be having her back :)

I cannot thank Paige enough for taking care of my cat, Effy, while I was out of town on a last minute trip. This is the second time that Paige has watched Effy and she is truly amazing. She shows up on time, plays with Effy, feeds her and gives her cuddles! She has such a calming presence, Effy is obsessed with her. I’ve already recommended her to my friends with pets in the neighborhood! Cannot recommend her enough!

Morgan did an amazing job while we were out of town with our cat. After recently loosing his brother we were hesitant about heading out of town with our cat alone. Morgan was so kind, gentle and friendly with our kitty and they became fast friends. I felt safe and at ease knowing Morgan was checking on our cat.

Elzem is a reliable, caring, and conscientious petsitter. She’s the only person I trust to come into my home while I’m out of town and take care of my two babies: Juniper, my 2-year-old caliby kitty, and Leni, my 14-year-old Chihuahua. Juniper and Leni each have their own personalities, routines, and needs, and Elzem does a great job giving them both the right kind of care and attention. It gives me real peace of mind knowing they’re in good hands while I’m away. I’m very glad to have found her and would happily recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable and thoughtful petsitter.
I booked Mackenzie for a second time when I was out of town for a long holiday weekend- as always, she was responsive, friendly, and took great care of my cat Bea. Mackenzie always takes sends great pictures and updates with every visit, and I had peace of mind while traveling.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in West Hollywood. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
