“Nicole was such a great sitter! Our cat requires eye drops every 12 hours and she followed instructions to a T and asked follow up questions when necessary. She made our first time out of town stress free and our cat looked so happy to spend time with her. Would definitely recommend and book again!!”

“Olivia is a true animal lover! She really was in tune with my senior cat who needs insulin after meals. I loved seeing the photos and videos each day, and she was so considerate with her visits and updates. I felt so relaxed knowing my cat was in such loving hands.”

“Annika has been extremely reliable with helping us on the drop in visits when our schedules at work are crazy. We always feel confident that our pups will be safe and loved when she drops in. She also keeps us updated during the stay which is always a plus and gives us the peace of mind that the pups are ok! Thank you Annika!”

“Satoia was absolutely excellent, my 2 cats were lucky to have her. So many adorable pictures and videos came my way while I was gone, which was such a treat. Will definitely be booking Satoia again for my kitties!”

“Elizabeth is amazing! She does an amazing job every single time she takes care of my dogs! She’s a great communicator, always does a Rover Card for me and always snaps a couple cute pics of the pups! Thanks Elizabeth!”

About: Hi! My name is Natalie, and I've taken care of silly, flat-faced dogs my whole life! My family had pugs, pug mixes, and bulldogs all throughout my childhood, and I am dying for a dog of my own. But until my living space allows it, I'll have to settle for dogsitting (and visits home to see my parents' new Frenchie puppies)! I have experience with both puppies and senior dogs. My last dog, Lucy (a terrier-pug mix who I got when I was 9 years old), lived a long and healthy life until she was 17. I have familiarity with basic training and commands and love going on walks and hikes of all lengths! Whether your dog is winded after a lap down the block, or wants to hike Runyon with me, I would love to meet them! I love the routine of pet care – whenever I watch dogs, I get outside more than ever and my serotonin goes through the roof! I currently work a combination of part-time and gig jobs, so my schedule is flexible to fit your needs. Some days I work from home completely, while others I'm out for 2-5 hours at a time. No matter the needs of your pet, I'm sure we can find a schedule that works for them! I'm both a house-sitter and a pet-sitter, and am open to whichever combination of both works for you! If you 1) have a dog and live within 15 minutes of my apartment, or 2) have a cact, I'm happy to do à la carte visits, potty breaks, and/or dogwalking. Otherwise for dogs, I prefer to stay at my clients' homes for the entire booking. Especially for extended stays, I've found it's much more convenient for both myself and your dog if we can stick as close to their usual surroundings and routine as possible. I am extremely clean and organized, and I promise I will leave your home better than I found it! While at your home, I'd also be happy to take out trash cans, water plants, and/or bring in any packages you may have delivered. For cats, I love them but I am allergic! I'm happy to schedule visits where I feed your cat, empty their litter box, and briefly play with them, but overnight stays are not possible for me. I prefer not to host in my own apartment, as I live on the top floor of a historic building (with the world's slowest elevator)! However, if you're interested in boarding your dog at my place, please inquire! I don't have any other pets that live with me, and my roommate and I both love having dogs around. Due to my allergy, I am not able to accommodate cats at my apartment.
About: Hello there! Thank you for trusting me with your fur baby/babies! I’m here to give your pets any care that they need. I was raised taking care of all sorts of animals (cats, dogs, bunnies, birds, chickens, hamsters, snakes, and even rescued a raccoon!) I feel very connected to and protective of all animals and hope to one day have an animal sanctuary of my own. Aside from growing up with all sorts of animals and having cats of my own now I have also pet sat many times for family, friends, and coworkers. I’m extremely passionate, responsible, knowledgeable and so very excited to meet your pet! No matter what the age or situation I’m confident that I can provide whatever your pet(s) need. There is nothing in this world that makes me happier than taking care of all creatures.. truly 🫶🏻 Thank you, Destiny I currently have a pretty flexible schedule! I create my own schedule for my work so I can typically work with whatever your needs are! I don’t provide boarding in my own home as I have 4 cats and do not have the space for any other pets. In your home I will take great care to make sure that everything is as you left it or better! I’m a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to my own home so I’ll be treating yours the same - including making sure your pet and home are safe and secure when I leave!
About: Hi, I’m Faith! For all of my life, I’ve had the fortune of being surrounded by animals. Whether it’s raising puppies, caring for senior pets, or taking loving care of my two rescue cats now, I feel so lucky to have always had pets in my life. That’s why I want to care for yours! Through years of caring for dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, and anything in between, I’ve learned that every pet has their own personality, needs, and routines & I strive to make sure your pet feels understood. I’ve helped bottle feed & raise puppies, administered medication to both dogs & cats, and cared for senior pets. I also have extensive experience in cleaning up after pets & always make sure to keep their areas nice & tidy. While you’re away, I’ll make sure you receive clear communication, updates & plenty of photos of your furry friends. I know how stressful it can be to leave your pet with someone new, and I always want you to be in the loop about how your pet is while you’re away. When I’m taking care of your pet, my goals are to give them all of the love & care they deserve & to treat them as if you were there. Since moving to West Hollywood in February, I have a fully open daily and weekly schedule, which means I can give your pets consistent attention and love. I make sure every pet gets the care and attention they deserve, whether it’s a walk around the neighborhood, or a drop-in for play and cuddles. I follow routines, keep pets safe and happy, and make every visit fun and stress-free. I’ll make sure to take plenty of pictures and give you full updates each time I see your pets as well!
“BrieAnna did a great job! She was very communicative and made sure Scully had fresh food and water and was well taken care of. Will definitely book BrieAnna in the future!”

“Fearless, caring, dependable, and not afraid to call reinforcements when she needs it. She can be trusted with your pets, trust me, we have four. They were rascals just to say the least of it. One of them was feral actually, swipe her a few times, even got her neck, but she came back the next day with battle scars and an unwavering tenacity to get the job done. She worked with others well to provide our cats, insulin, food, and love. We were quite worried actually and thought of coming home early from our trip, but, to our pleasant surprise we were able to stay the full length of our weekend trip. She was even so thoughtful as to leave babies gifts, which was not necessary at all! Would definitely use her in the future, I would recommend this sitter to anybody who has babies that are in need of attention and care, with the detail and consistency that ensures the safe and relaxing cat sitting experience!”

About: I’ve had pets my entire life and truly can’t imagine it any other way! At one point I cared for four dogs and a cat, so I’m very comfortable in a busy pet filled home. I also have experience with dogs who have had seizures and frequent sneezing attacks, so I know how to stay calm, assess situations, and make sure pets feel safe and loved. I took my dog to training classes as both a puppy and an adult, and while I’m not professionally trained, I’ve carried the techniques I learned with me when caring for other pets. Friends and neighbors have always trusted me to walk, feed, and spend quality time with their animals. I currently have a 7 yr. old French Bulldog named Gus and a sassy orange tabby cat named Azula! Animals mean the world to me, and I’ll treat your pet like one of my own! I’m currently a full time student, which gives me plenty of flexibility outside of my classes! I’m available most mornings through evenings, with limited availability on Mondays and Fridays. I’m happy to spend all that free time caring for your pet whether that’s a walk to the park or just a quick hello! I’m also available for pet sitting on weekends and will always care for your pet according to your preferences. Since I don’t offer boarding in my own home, I provide attentive and reliable care in my client’s home. I genuinely enjoy spending quality time with animals and will give them plenty of attention supervision! I’m great at following routines and schedules, and I always prioritize making sure your pet feels safe and comfortable while you’re away.

We had such a wonderful experience with Kaitlin! She took amazing care of my girls and gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. Her updates were incredibly detailed, and I always looked forward to reading them. She included lots of photos each visit, which made it so much easier being away from my cats. She was also very reliable and consistent, and it was clear she genuinely cared about making sure my girls were happy and well cared for. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. I would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, communicative, and caring to look after their pets. Thank you for taking such great care of my girls!

Allison took great care of my 2 cats while I was away for a few days. She was attentive, reliable, and kept me updated with photos, which gave me peace of mind. My cats were happy and well cared for when I returned. I would definitely recommend Allison to anyone looking for a loving and trustworthy pet sitter!

Mikayla was absolutely wonderful! I get a lot of stress and anxiety before a trip having to leave my girls but I felt peace of mind knowing they were in her care. My care instructions can be lengthy and particular but she was up for the job and my girls seemed to love her! She’s professional and so friendly. I’m happy I found someone to care for them going forward!

Kasey was wonderful from start to finish! She was professional, reliable, and communicative throughout the entire booking. I especially appreciated the thorough updates and photos she provided after each visit—they gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. It was clear that she genuinely cared and took the time to make sure everything was taken care of. Thank you, Kasey, for making the experience so stress-free. I would absolutely book with her again! 🐾💕

Emma was great ! My cat is super anti social and usually takes days to warm up to anyone. But Luna took to Emma day 2! I was so happy when I saw the camera. She sent pics and was prompt with Luna’s breakfast and dinner. I could enjoy my vacation without worrying about my baby. She was in great hands. Will def book again ! Thank you Emma.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in West Hollywood. On Rover:
- 89% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 93% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
