Pets Mean the World to Me!
I have a history as a dog groomer/bather, and have taken care of pets and had pet responsibilities of all kind since I was a child. I have been pet sitting for friends and family throughout my teenage years into adulthood and I have a soft spot for senior pets, as well as have specific safety training from my time as a dog groomer/bather. I am very comfortable with all animals and their needs and will always take into consideration any individual needs or requirements! I am very organized and will take into consideration every detail that is needed when providing for your pet. My family owned a Shiba Inu that we loved and cared for into her senior years, and now owns a playful, mischievous 5 year old munchkin cat! It was always a childhood dream of mine to work with animals as I love spending time with them and making sure that their daily lives are filled with nothing but love and comfort! :) I am a music therapy intern so during the week I work at my internship from 9-5, but am still able to provide care for your furry babies both before and after. I have also worked to provide comfort, music and support for many different people so I am very understanding of any stresses that may be happening within your life and will strive to provide the best service possible for your pet. <3

Carissa took care of our Pippin on short notice and was incredibly reliable, communicative, and caring. She’s a wonderful dog sitter, as always.
I’m a super nervous pet owner and Carissa took excellent care of Steve! He was well taken care of, super chill when I got home, and Carissa obviously loves animals and takes a lot of pride in her work. I also appreciated the pictures and check ins while I was gone.
My boy Toulouse loves Carissa! She always takes such good care of him whether it’s an overnight stay or a quick drop in. She’s the best!
Carissa was amazing with Lady Mae! Lady felt super safe and secure while Carissa sent photos and updates often. Excellent communication and super smooth process.
Carissa was so easy and an absolute pleasure to work with! Will be booking again with her moving forward. My cat loved her and he was well cared for.

I have just finished grad school and am free to care for your kitties throughout this fall before I begin an internship this winter. I have a retail job but I have generally open availability and can work around your schedule!
