“We had such a wonderful experience with Yvonne! She took amazing care of our two little ones, Leo and Luna, and treated them like her own. She was attentive, loving, reliable, and kept us updated, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It’s clear she truly cares about animals and goes above and beyond to make sure they are comfortable and happy. We came home to two very happy pets! I would absolutely trust Yvonne again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone dependable and caring to watch their pets.”

“Elizabeth is a doggie rockstar! She loves the babies and they love her! Couldn’t be happier nor feel better about leaving them in someone’s care! Thank you!!!!”
“She is very smart and friendly. She did all the instructions precisely. My dog was very happy, and she took some lovely photos from my dog and sent them to me while I was in my vacation. I highly recommend her.”

About: Hi! I’m Liz, a TV producer by day and a lifelong animal lover at heart. Before working in television, I spent several years in the pet care industry at a high-end pet supply store that specialized in celebrity dog walking and pet services. During that time, I gained experience handling dogs of all breeds, sizes, personalities, and energy levels. I also worked part-time as a groomer and had the opportunity to learn dog behavior and training techniques from a highly respected professional trainer. Beyond my professional experience, I’ve also cared for my own senior dog through illness, which taught me the importance of patience, attention to detail, and compassionate care. I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else, and I treat every animal as if they were my own. While my career eventually took me into television production, I’ve missed spending time with animals and am excited to get back to doing something I genuinely love. Whether your dog needs a long walk, extra playtime, medication support, or simply a caring companion while you’re away, you can count on me to provide dependable, attentive care. I currently work part-time, which gives me availability after 1:00 PM on weekdays and most weekends. As a freelance TV producer, my schedule can vary depending on the project, but I do my best to keep my calendar updated and communicate availability clearly. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a fully fenced backyard for supervised outdoor play, potty breaks, and plenty of fresh air. Inside, pets are treated like family and will have a comfortable, calm environment with lots of attention and affection.
About: Growing up having three dogs (all Great Pyrenees), I have always had a deep love of animals, but particularly dogs. I am very comfortable with any size of dog, and make sure to love them as much as their owner does. I am always the pet sitter in my friend group and I take pride in being dependable, communicative with owners, clean, and someone the dog can bond with. I love taking dogs on walks, playing fetch, or just hanging out <3 I am currently working full-time, however I am very flexible and have open availability. I am most free weekdays and weekend mornings. Regardless of the day or time, I will make sure to be there for your pet! I have no animals so I can put full attention on your pet. I live in a small, dog friendly complex with a park nearby. I have room to kennel your pet if needed. The complex is not fenced.

“Bailey was very kind and great with our cats! She was on time with each drop in and gave regular updates. I could tell she loves animals and took care of our kitties with such care. She did feedings and gave pets. She even cleaned the litter box for us! I would recommend her to anyone looking for a wonderful cat sitter:)”

“Absolutely amazing. Catherine is super kind and great with my cat babies. I knew she could be trusted when my cat greeted her immediately upon meeting with her, plus she carries a laser light with her, she knows how to win a cats heart. Great communication and flexibility - she sent wonderful messages, photos and videos. Would absolutely recommend.”

About: I have taken care of my own animals for the last 10 years, while also volunteering at local rescues to assist and socialize. My dog experience lies mostly within the rescues as well, cleaning feeding and walking are areas of expertise. I stand out because of my affectionate personality but also self awareness to gauge what the needs of your pet are. I am very flexible at the moment to assist and schedule whatever you will need for your pet. If the schedule is not available or if I have the ability to move things around I am open to that discussion as well. I care for each pet depending on what the pet & owners needs are. I am a fast learner and will adapt to any routine that will need to be implemented. As far as safety goes, I am motivated to accommodate any safety needs the client will need from me and for their home as well. Hey! I have the ability to come on my lunch break if your pet cannot be left alone for more than 4 hours. Can also be flexible on weekends and after 6p on weekdays. I have a large balcony and plenty of space in my apartment. My neighborhood is highly walkable and safe. Will avoid other dogs if needed.
About: I'm a lifelong dog owner with experience with breeds of all kinds, big or small! I'm always ready to provide service that leaves your pups cared for and you worry free on whatever journey life may take you. I'm an owner of two pups myself, so pet care is a part of my everyday life. I know all too well how important it is for our pups to have somebody around them to care for them at all times. I treat my client's pets with the same care and attention that I do my own. Keeping note of every little quirk and detail that makes your dog tick to ensure I'm providing the best possible care for each pet individually is my specialty. It is important to me that your pets as well as your home are cared for and loved while you're away. Rest assured. When your pups are left in my care, they are treated like family.
“Genesis has watched and stayed with our dog multiple times now, and we never have to worry about him when we’re gone! She keeps us updated and sends lots of pictures and videos, and she’s managed to form a bond with our anxious dog and give us peace of mind when we’re away”

“Dea was amazing! I was so anxious about leaving Cali behind, but she made the process soo easy. She was so communicative and I can tell she puts a ton of love and care into what she does. Will definitely book her again in the future!”

“Thank you so much for taking care of my dogs! You were very flexible and competent and able to navitgate the complications that arose with getting into the building. I really appreciate how well you handled everything and were able to figure it out, and had great communication. This was my first time using rover and I was very nervous to leave my dogs, but I knew they were in good hands and you made this a great first experience with rover. THANK YOU so much.”

Feel free to reach out with any inquiries and I'll get back to you same day! While I cannot currently offer boarding or daycare in my home, I am happy to house sit at your place. Let’s chat about how I can help keep your pets happy and healthy while you’re busy or away! Feel free to reach out for more information or to schedule a meet-and-greet! 🌟 I am currently not working full-time so I have a lot of flexibility to give your pets the love they deserve. I am available for early mornings if you need, or can swing by for a before-bedtime visit. At my home, we don't have a yard so we take our two dogs out multiple times a day for walks and relief. They get lots of love from everyone who knows them. ♥️
“Naomi was great! She sent pictures and updates for my cat Sal during her drop in visits. She followed instructions and was easy to coordinate with. I’d definitely recommend her!”

“Gabriela's catsitting for our cat Riddle was the definition of above and beyond. Our cat is one year old and very energetic. When this meant that she toppled the auto-feeding machine that we had set up for the mornings (multiple times), Gabriela went out of her way to come to our apartment outside of her scheduled check-ins (multiple times) to make sure Riddle still got fed and to fix the machine (ultimately improvising a clever solution to support it involving a scarf and a bookshelf). Needless to say, we will be getting a new auto-feeder but keeping the same catsitter in the future if we can, haha. Gabriela was attentive and helpful and Riddle was head over hills for her, I would absolutely recommend her to look after your pet!”

“We love how Alyssa interacted with our pup from the very beginning. Love the communication we got from her. She was very attentive and caring. We definitely will be using her from now. Definitely recommend her!!”

Dana is a wonderful and thoughtful sitter. The photos that she sent of our dog and cat showed how happy they were with her. We felt secure in our choice of sitter and would definitely choose Dana in the future. She even watered our tomatoes while we were gone! Excellent sitter all around!

Mackenzie is a true cat whisperer! I warned her that she probably wouldn’t even see my gray cat, because he takes days to warm up to new people— but by her second visit he was already coming right up to her and playing! The cats seemed to really love her and she gave regular updates with photos. On her last visit she even put a movie on for my shy cat and sent pics of him watching 🥹 very much hoping that Mackenzie is available any time I’m out of town so she can watch my boys again!

Paris did an excellent job taking care of my cat, who is a very picky eater and slow to trust anyone. She gave me regular updates and was very patient trying new techniques to get him to eat and socialize. I came home to a very happy kitty! Overall Paris was a responsible sitter who went above and beyond to make sure my scaredy cat was well taken care of. I’d trust her to watch my pet again.

Yvonne was an easy choice for my family when we had to go out of town. My baby, Tater Tot, is a simple cat, but he sometimes has mildly complex issues. It was clear from the start that Yvonne was ready to take care of our baby. We arranged an easy meet and greet, and we could see that Yvonne understood Tater's needs. They shared photos via Rover card twice a day and our minds were eased seeing that Tater was doing well. Yvonne cleaned litter, refilled food and water, and also took care of Tater's special needs, like daily face cleaning and eyedrop application. It's hard to leave your pets at any time, but I believe that you can trust that your pet is good hands when you book Yvonne. Thank you!

All of my kitties fell in love with Vanessa. She was as attentive to the shy and aloof adult cats as she was to the playful 12-week-old foster kittens. This was something I really appreciated, as my adult cats - while not hostile - aren't exactly charming to strangers. Vanessa told me she brought her own cat from to California when she moved here. That told me she thinks of pets as true lifetime companions. She then also adopted a dog and just exudes positive vibes. I would 100% recommend her services.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
