About: I have experience walking dogs of all ages and sizes (German Shepard, huskies, Maltese, poodle, frenchies). As a teen I walked dogs for the elderly who resided in a retirement home. I grew up with large dogs and have learned patience and awareness through my experiences. I currently have two talkative cats and have participated in rescuing stray kittens from a Carl’s Jr. parking lot. I love animals and have learned from each and every one of them that I have had the pleasure of meeting in my lifetime. I am currently between jobs and have a lot of free time to take pups for walks! I am available weekends and holidays! I enjoy being outside and going for early morning walks and would love to do that with a dog! I am comfortable watching pets within a home or backyard if needed. I can carry dogs if they are uncomfortable using stairs or if they have special needs. I am extremely cautious when dogs are a flight risk and tend to triple check harnesses and walking gear!

I’m available for morning till late afternoon care, I also have no problem checking in again after work. On my days off I’m available all day those days are sun, mon and Thursday I have a spacious studio with designated space for boarding and I don’t have anything for a pet to mess with or accidentally hurt themselves. I do not have a crate but can get one if needed
About: Hey there, neighbors! I’m Noam, a university student at UC San Diego who loves animals, photography, and running. I’ve had dogs in my life for as long as I can remember, so I know that taking care of a pet isn’t just a responsibility, it’s taking care of another member of the family! As a student, I also know how busy life can get. Whether you’re stuck at work, have a long day of classes, or simply need an extra hand, I’d love to be there for your pets when you can’t. My priority is to make sure your pets feel safe, happy, loved, and cared for while you’re away. I’ve personally cared for dogs, cats, and even rabbits, and I love getting to know each pet’s unique personality. I’m also an avid runner, so if your pet has extra energy to burn, I’m always happy to make their walk a run! I offer walking, house sitting, and drop-in visits. I’ll always treat your pets and your home with the same care and respect I’d want for my own. I can’t wait to meet you and your pets! - Noam :) I’m currently a university student, so pet care fits in perfectly between classes and study breaks. I personally would probably have more time on weekends, and could definitely use pet care as a break from my intensive studies! I’ll make sure that the pets are taken care of at all times, preventing them from eating anything (including themselves haha), getting themselves hurt, and making sure they stay safe overall.

“Brooke was great! She communicated with me the entire time and was available last minute. I would highly recommend her to watch your dogs! I will have her back in the future :)”

About: Hello. I’m Karina, and caring for animals has been a central part of my life for many years. In addition to caring for dogs and cats, I have extensive experience working with horses, including high-performance equine athletes. That background has taught me to be calm, observant, consistent, and attentive to each animal’s individual personality and needs. I understand that every pet is different. Some want an energetic walk, while others simply need a consistent routine, patience, and companionship. My priority is making sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for with me. I specialize in reliable weekday lunchtime dog walks and drop-in visits in the Encino area, making me a great fit for busy professionals who want consistent, dependable care. I also offer cat drop-in visits and limited boarding for dogs that are friendly with my own well-socialized dog and cat. You’ll receive updates and photos during every visit so you can feel confident that your pet is happy and well cared for. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else, and I treat every animal as if they were my own. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family! Pet care is something I intentionally build into my weekly routine. I provide consistent weekday lunchtime walks and drop-in visits, making me a great fit for busy professionals who want dependable care while they’re at work. My schedule also allows me to offer weekend boarding and pet care by arrangement. I enjoy having a routine that lets me give each pet my full attention and provide reliable, consistent care. Boarding dogs stay in my home as part of the family, with plenty of attention, exercise, and a consistent routine. I have a secure balcony and easy access to a large grassy area for potty breaks and fresh air. Depending on each dog’s personality and energy level, we can enjoy walks in my quiet condo complex or explore the dog-friendly neighborhood nearby. I only accept dogs that are a good fit for my home and my own friendly, well-socialized dog, so everyone stays safe, relaxed, and happy. My goal is to provide a calm, comfortable environment where your dog feels at home while you’re away. With your permission, I’m also happy to take well-trained dogs on special outings, such as nature trails or to the horse facilities where I spend time, for additional exercise and enrichment when appropriate.
About: I've had over 30 animals in my life and I've trained, fed and groomed them. Animals are my favorite things in the world and I will always put them first ❤️ I KNOW animals are family and will always be!! I can work any schedule around your furry friends 🧡 I have an open schedule and as long as I know a day in advance, I will be there. I live next door to a hiking trail and a dog park. Plenty of space, time and love for your furry loved ones. I can work full-time or part-time depending on anyone's time. I'd love to be a part of your furry friend's lives ❤️

About: I’ve been a caretaker in one form or another since I was very young. I started as the neighborhood baby/pet/house sitter, and later became a professional nanny—where caring for children also meant caring for the family pets and homes. Although I stepped away from nannying, I still love caring for animals. I travel for work about a week out of every month, which makes having a pet of my own difficult right now, so pet sitting has been the perfect way to stay connected to animals while helping other pet parents feel at ease. I’ve been dog and house sitting for friends and referrals, and I treat every pet like they’re my own—with patience, affection, attention, and reliable care. Whether your pup loves long walks, your cat loves playtime, cuddles, or just a calm and consistent companion, I’m happy to provide dependable, loving care in the comfort of their own home. I have a pretty flexible work week and I’m off on weekends. I wake up on the earlier side so I will have plenty of time to do the morning pet duties. I’m a homebody so my evenings are spent reading, catching up on work, watching tv- so that also leaves plenty of time in the evening for whatever your pet’s needs are! I do love to walk outside so hopefully your pet does too! I follow the house rules and routine to help the pets remain calm while their families are gone. I also believe consistency is key in building trust with them too. Safety first! My mother is a trauma nurse so I am always looking out for any potential danger and I’m a very cautious person.

About: I’m a pre-veterinary student with a genuine passion for caring for animals and helping them feel safe, healthy, and comfortable. Since I was 11, I’ve cared for family and friends’ dogs, cats, lizards, birds, turtles, rabbits, and hedgehogs. I’m experienced with feeding, grooming, walking, exercise, cleaning, enrichment, and monitoring animals’ health and behavior, and I’m attentive to each animal’s individual needs. My goal is to provide compassionate, patient care while treating every animal as if they were my own. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I genuinely enjoy spending time with and caring for animals. I am currently available from 9am-10pm daily and I’m comfortable building my schedule around their needs. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their normal routine as closely as possible so they feel comfortable and secure. I pay close attention to their behavior, appetite, energy, and overall well being, and I make sure to give them plenty of patience, attention, and affection while respecting the client’s home and instructions.
“Daniela is fantastic. She took such great care of our kitties. We have 3 cats, all with different foods and needs, and she handled it perfectly. Highly recommend Daniela”

About: I've worked with dogs for over 15 years, training for 4 years, previously CPDT certified. I can handle dogs of any size, experienced in giving medication and reactive dogs. PLEASE NOTE I can only offer boarding for puppies under 4 months old. While they are boarding I will teach crate training and basic obedience. I have a fenced yard for pups without all their shots. They will get to socialize with my dog and cat. This is similar to a board and train for puppies for a fraction of the cost! I am currently between jobs so I have lots of free time to care for your kids! I can do drop in visits, walks, and puppy boarding for pups 4 months and younger. I can follow any rules for your pets in your own home. I am very careful to keep animals safe and will pay attention to any details you give me.
About: Hi, I’m Sofia—I’m currently working from home as a graphic designer. I’m a life-long dog owner with years of experience caring for pets of all ages and personalities. I’m patient, reliable, and great with shy or cautious animals. I’ll make sure your furry (or feathered!) friend feels safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. Bonus—I’m also an illustrator, so let me know and I can draw your pet as a little keepsake! I’m currently working part-time and remotely so I have a flexible schedule to be there for your pets! I’m happy to accommodate and discuss how I can be of service. I follow your home’s rules and your pet’s care instructions closely to make sure they feel safe and you feel confident. I always double-check gates, locks, and am extra careful when opening doors. I keep a close eye on curious noses and paws—whether that means keeping terriers out of the trash or making sure no one snacks on mystery items during walks. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities!
“Patty is great! She has watched our cats multiple times. Very communicative and accommodating. One of our cats is not very friendly and can be aggressive, but she has always managed to handle him fine. I would definitely recommend Patty for any Rover needs!”

Bethany is a caring and thoughtful person. She watched our cat for 8 days (longest we’ve ever been away from our cat) and she took the best pictures and made sure our cat was happy and had company. I can’t recommend Bethany enough, she loves animals and is extremely reliable.

Minerva did such a fantastic job. I was a little worried since we needed her to care for a lot of pets with different foods, but she handled it all gracefully. She was also very accommodating to the times we needed her to come. If you’re looking for a pet sitter who is detail oriented and trustworthy, your search can end here! Thank you Minerva!

Haley once again took amazing care of our girls! My husband and I feel incredibly fortunate that we found such a kind and caring sitter in Haley. The girls love her and even our older cat (who can be pretty aloof/distant with others outside of our family) has enjoyed playing with her. Do not hesitate in hiring Haley--she's a gem!

This was my first time using Rover and she made it the best experience possible she went above and beyond and communication she was on time she sent pictures. She had cute commentary and honestly, our animals loved her. I can't wait for her to watch them again as she cared so much for my animals and I can't thank her enough for giving us the peace of mind while we were out of town

Erika is an absolutely wonderful cat sitter. She is so patient and has a very calming presence. My cat usually ignores strangers and refuses to play with them, but took to her right away and loved playing with her! She is deeply caring and I felt so comfortable leaving my cat in her hands. Highly recommend!

Valerie is absolutely wonderful with our cat! She’s been able to watch her a few times now and Valerie is always so communicative, helpful, and takes THE BEST check in photos which really helps when we are missing our pet. From the first pet meet and greet, our cat took to her so fast and we are so happy to have found Valerie. Highly recommend!

I love booking with Eileen! She is extremely communicative and ensures that she follows my notes. Eileen also went above and beyond with my cat by trying different ways to get her to eat more. She also updated me daily about my cat’s mood and health as well. Additionally, Eileen sent lots of pictures and videos each visit, which I greatly appreciated. The videos (with lots of purring) showed me just how much my fur baby loves her. Thank you again Eileen!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
