I work from home full time and spend a lot of my spare time hiking with my housemates dog, going to the gym, the beach and doing fun activities with friends. I also am on a fitness journey at the moment so very keen on hikes/long walks if that’s what your pup loves. I’m from Australia originally but lived in London for 7 years and moved to the US recently so I’m a very adaptive person.

I am very understanding on the wide range of needs certain furry friends can have, whether it be emotional or physical. I am very patient and will take time and care to get to know your pet to provide them with them same love and care as you do. My housemate has a dog and I am the one who takes him out on hikes and am training him currently, as well as teaching my housemate how to train him.

Please let me know if your dog or has anything special that needs accounting for. I can do most things and even assist in training if you would like. I need to know how many walks the dog-cat would like a day. For drop in’s I will need specific times please so I can adjust my work calendar around the schedule. I have the option to work EST, CST or PST so can change my start time or finish time.
A typical day
Go for long walks/hikes, go to the beach, I know there is a dog park in the area near me so can take I can them there and let them off leash (pending dogs obedience and your preference). If you have a slightly clingier dog I’m happy to bring them with me in the car when I’m running errands etc. if that makes them comfortable! I am also more than happy to stay home with your cat/dog and chill watching movies or TV shows.

I’ve had dogs, cats and horses since I was a baby. My dad is a vet and my mum is a vet nurse so I grew up around many animals and have extensive animal knowledge. I love dogs and cats and would love to spend some more time with animals! (Also have my dad on speed dial so you can feel extra safe leaving your furry friend with me) I love hiking, going to the beach or chilling at home watching movies so I can adapt my days to your fur babies preference! I do not drink or party and mainly spend time being active, seeing friends and working. I work full time from home. So can do drop ins when you need or work from my laptop at your home for when I’m pet sitting. My evenings and mornings are free so will have plenty of time for your fur baby. I’m more than comfortable with Your pup or cat sleeping with me if that’s what they’re used to, I’ll adapt my routine to them so they still have their routine in place even when you’re away. I’m all about ensuring they’re as happy and comfortable as possible, knowing it can be distressing when they’re not with their mum/dad. My work schedule is quite flexible and not very high pressure. Rover is not my full time job and I wouldn’t say im a professional pet sitter but I love spending time with animals and rover helps me do that whilst also having a little side hustle. I’m more than happy to set up a meet and greet before proceeding with any booking so I can meet your pet, get to know them and you before you make any decisions. This is our second time using Emily and she is just fantastic! I cannot recommend her enough, she is so caring and thoughtful and provides such excellent care for our fur baby. She sends daily updates and pictures and also took great care of the house since we had her stay at the house for the duration of our vacation as well. Highly trustworthy and responsible, we would continue to use her again every time!
My outdoor cameras show that Emily brought cigarettes into my home as soon as I left. I have a no guest policy. The cameras show she had a man waiting outside and brought him in my house. The air quality meters in my home indicate that she began smoking indoors immediately. She arrived around 12pm and left the dog alone at 3:30p, returning later with the man. The next day she told me she took the dog for the “nice walk”, but the cameras showed that she took the dog outside for a total of 3 minutes. She had promised to walk the dog for 30 minutes each day. Emily claimed that she went to her house to pick up some medicine in the late afternoon, but she did not return to my house until 1:20am. On Saturday at about 1:30 PM, my dog can be heard distressed and barking as that man returns to our home. At 2:54pm, the man can be seen answering my front door alone and receiving deliveries. At 8:15p she and the man began removing things from inside my home. Great care was taken to hide whatever they are carrying from the cameras. When I arrived home at approximately 8:55 PM, I found my dog panting and her skin bright red. Her water bowl was empty. The house was so thick with smoke and chemical air fresheners that our eyes were burning. We opened up all the windows, ran the fan and the air purifier and gave the dog a bath. It’s been over 24 hours and my house still smells like a cigar store mixed with airport bathroom spray. I fear that this woman chose to party with her boyfriend rather than prioritize the safety of my dog. I’m absolutely horrified that Rover sent this dangerous person into my home. I wish I had checked the cameras sooner so that my dog might have been rescued from this trauma.
I could not have asked for a better care giver for our fur baby while we were out of town than Emily. My kitten does not do well alone and she stayed at our home with him and he took to her right away. She provided me with regular updates, was incredibly kind and responsive, respectful, and responsible. She was in ongoing communication with me and followed every ask I had. I would use her again in a heartbeat!
Emily was incredible! She took excellent care of our 3 dogs, and was super communicative the whole time we were away! She was very patient with our anxious pups and once they warmed up to her she got them all out for regular walks and sent daily updates with pictures and videos. She was even able to accommodate a last minute extra day when our return flights got canceled! Will absolutely book her again for future trips!
