I grew up with cats and have cared for pets for more than 15 years. I’m also comfortable caring for older cats and giving oral medication if needed. I only book pets from one household at a time. If you have two cats, they can stay together. I won’t book another family’s dog while your cats are here. We don’t have any pets of our own. When your cat arrives, I’ll start them off in the bedroom my wife and I share. It’s a quiet place where they can hide or rest. We do have AC all over the house, so do not worry about the SF Valley heat! Our daughters get home from school after 4 p.m. and usually do their homework downstairs. They know to leave cats alone unless the cat comes over for attention. If your cat wants to come downstairs and spend time with us, that’s fine too. Our furry friends are always welcome to sit on our laps and spend time with us they are comfortable with that. I’ll follow your instructions for food, litter, and medication, and send you photos and updates. We have cat treats, but I’ll only give them to your cat if you say it’s okay. I am excited to welcome your cat/kitten into our home as our own!

“Booked Daniela a couple of weeks ago and just booked with her again this past weekend. She had great communication and provided lots of pictures and updates, which made me feel much more comfortable throughout the stay. I had never left my pets with someone I didn’t personally know before, so I was definitely nervous at first, but everything turned out great. She is very loving and caring with pets, which I really appreciated. I would definitely book with her again. The only downside for me was not being able to physically see where my pet would be staying, sleeping, and spending time beforehand, since everything is handled through pictures and text messages. That may just be a personal preference because I tend to worry and have a hard time trusting others with my pup. Overall, it was a really good experience, and I hope she’s available for all future visits.”

About: One delightful benefit of being single and living alone is I’ve ended up being the person in my friends group who gets to dog sit for all my friends whenever they go out of town. I studied Ecology at University and the love and respect of all animals is very much ingrained in me. I work from home, so to have a justified incentive to leave my desk and go for a walk would be gratefully appreciated. I live in the foothills of Sherman Oaks which makes for easy, safe walks in a very dog friendly neighborhood. I’m also more than happy to hop in the car and take dogs to the park. I’m completely flexible to the desires and recommendations of the owner. I care for dogs as if they were my own. Lots of interaction, affection, a continual supply of fresh water and hopefully a buddy to watch the Premier League with me on the weekend!
“I cannot say enough good things about Ori and how she cared for my dog Clyde. It was his first time being boarded and it was for 8 days...he was scared and anxious to the point he wasn't eating his food. Ori was kind enough to make him feel comfortable and hand fed him with his bone that he wanted to use as his spoon. Yes, you read that right, she fed him his food using his bone. LOL. She did this every night for him. Ori walked Clyde a lot but he was scared to walk far from the home, she didn't force him to do so. She allowed him to go as far as he wanted to before turning around. She also gave him his medication every day and made sure his nail did not get infected. Side note: Clyde ripped his nail off the day before boarding...so she was great in keeping an eye on it. Ori sent me pictures and videos of Clyde to help ease my mind...my own anxiety was through the roof. Her kids were kind to my dog (allowing him to be on their bed) and he was completely cared for and safe while I was out of the country. By the end of the stay, Clyde had calmed down and build a bond with her. I absolutely would use Ori again when I travel out of town. She is worth every penny. Thank you so much Ori and to your family for watching Clyde.”
