About: I’ve been around dogs and cats for years, starting in college when I regularly walked and cared for my roommate’s American Eskimo. I adopted my own cat six years ago. since she’s meant to be the only child, and I just love cats, I decided to spend some time with the cats who don’t have a family yet :) I now volunteer weekly at Perry’s Place in North Hollywood, where I socialize cats and kittens and help potential adopters find their match. I also have hands-on experience fostering weaned kittens and administering oral medication, so I’m comfortable with pets who need extra care. I currently work from home and will have a job break in august. I’ll be available in the afternoons during the week and on the weekends. I will regularly have a lot of holiday availability as I tend to stay in town. Please don’t hesitate to reach out! Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priority. When I’m in your home, I follow your pet’s existing routine as closely as possible to minimize stress: same feeding schedule, same walking routes, same rules. I double check that doors and gates are locked, keep an eye out for anything that could be a hazard, and never leave a pet unsupervised in an unsafe situation. I will keep in close contact with you throughout the visit, sending photo updates and flagging anything unusual right away, whether it’s a health concern or just a change in behavior. For cats, I’m attentive to litter box needs, fresh water, and any signs of stress or hiding. For dogs, I make sure walks and any yard time are secure and supervised

When this meant that she toppled the auto-feeding machine that we had set up for the mornings (multiple times), Gabriela went out of her way to come to our apartment outside of her scheduled check-ins (multiple times) to make sure Riddle still got fed and to fix the machine (ultimately improvising a clever solution to support it involving a scarf and a bookshelf). Needless to say, we will be getting a new auto-feeder but keeping the same catsitter in the future if we can, haha. Gabriela was attentive and helpful and Riddle was head over hills for her, I would absolutely recommend her to look after your pet!”

About: Growing up in Chicago I've had dogs/cats my whole entire life. Moving to LA made it unavailable for me to have my own anymore. I can exercise with dogs. I do runyan canyon atleast 3 times a week. I work from home and enjoy getting out every two hours for 30 minutes and having a lil buddy to hang out with during the day while I work. I broke both of my legs last year in a pair of motorcycle accidents so I really have a new appreciation for walking haha. I'd say your dog and I are doing each other favors. About: My family had dogs (including very large breeds like Shepherds and Corso) even before I was born, and because of that I spent every second of my life around dogs and animals in general. Living in LA I don't get enough free time to have my own pup so I try my best to work with dogs every day and help other people care for their pets. I have also completed American Red Cross course in Cat and Dog First Aid I work in commercial photo/video production, so it's really different from one gig to another. I'm also doing my apprenticeship in a dog training. Whenever I have a chance to spend my time working with animals, I take it. The only universal way to handle any dog is to understand that every dogs needs a unique approach for their personality, just like people.
About: I have had cats and dogs and mice and fish my whole life, and have been many people's go-to consultant for care and advice, and for taking care of their pets when they're out of town. I am one of those people that folks say have "a way with animals". Always have, even when I was a toddler. I can administer medications and injections, help with puppy training, and bring your shy pet out of his or her shell. I rescued my own kitties when they were only a week old and syringe and bottle-fed them and reared them up to be sturdy upright feline citizens of the world. I'm good with the "difficult" cases, and a gentle loving companion to the seniors. “Best boarding experience my pup has ever had! He’s not exactly the easiest boy to handle given how energetic he is, but after our initial meet and greet with Ashlee I had 0 concerns. She told me about the dog rescue organization she created so she definitely will give your pup the care and attention they need. She also took my dog on pack walks and long hikes around Runyon Canyon! She has so much space on her fenced off property and the sweetest dogs of her own that all played well with my pup and helped keep him busy! I genuinely believe he had a better time than I did while I was away. He came home cuddly and so tired so I know he had a blast! About: Hi, my name is Kate Gray, and I’m a 30- something year old LA native, with more than 10 year experience taking care of dogs. I have fostered dogs ever since I graduated college (go Bruins!), having fostered over 10 dogs with orgs like Wags & Walks, MaeDay Rescue, Pup Culture Rescue, and more. I have also been graced by the heavens with my own dog/child, Remi. She is my best friend, and I rescued her in 2020. Ever since, my life revolves around her, and frankly all dogs, not even just my own! I am consistently the go-to person for my friends, family, and neighbors to watch their dogs, or walk whenever they need, because of my love for dogs, and undeniable dedication to making sure their pup has the best time adventuring! I truly feel it’s always an incredible honor to get to know every dog, and would love to provide my services to you when needed! I'm very open to meeting beforehand to ensure you can trust me with your child, I absolutely understand <3 My dog is my life, so pet care is simultaneous with self care - constant! I take my dog out for daily hikes around Elysian Park, a daily walk, and sometimes fetch in an open field if she's lucky! Having recently been laid off by my full time at Warner Music, I have been applying my love for dogs and care-taking qualities to watching dogs and open schedule, and would love to extend that to you, my hopeful future client! I watch the dog the entire time, ensuring they do not eat anything they're not supposed to, have any accidents, and even get in to a lil mayhem. I make sure to keep all needed doors and gates closed, while also being mindful of their need for exercise with plenty of indoor/outdoor playing, light command training for brain stimuli, and a bunch of pets! I make sure to adapt my actions per each pet, all the while ensuring they are safe and cared for.
