He was dropped off at her place on the day he was neutered and stayed with her until I could fly to California to pick him up and bring him home. When my daughter collected him from the shelter and brought him to Anna’s, he was scared. He was thrown into a new environment, confused, and obviously in pain. Anna kept me updated on his progress, and through pictures and videos, I could see how she nursed him back to health. She gave him his medicine and went above and beyond as a sitter. Einstein recently stayed with Andrew for a couple of nights while we traveled to Seattle, and the level of kindness, communication, and professionalism we experienced was truly exceptional. From the first moment we reached out, Andrew was incredibly responsive, supportive, and thoughtful. The day before Einstein’s stay, he even initiated a meet-and-greet with his wonderful wife so we could all feel more comfortable and make sure Einstein felt at ease in their home. That gave us real peace of mind going into our trip. Throughout Einstein’s stay, Andrew constantly kept us updated with pictures, videos, and thoughtful messages. He also took Einstein out on walks several times a day, which we really appreciated given Einstein’s puppy energy. Knowing that Einstein was being so well cared for allowed us to relax and enjoy our trip so much more. Andrew also followed our instructions carefully regarding Einstein’s special diet, which was very important to us. We feed Einstein human-grade food that we cook for him, and Andrew made sure to heat his frozen meals and serve them at his regular mealtimes. What impressed us even more was how much Einstein learned during his stay. Before boarding with Andrew, our puppy was not able to consistently sit on command or comfortably go up and down stairs. Andrew patiently worked with him, and by the time we picked him up, Einstein had already made incredible progress. Andrew, his wife, and their daughter treated Einstein as if he were part of their own family. Their warmth, attentiveness, generosity, and professionalism meant the world to us. About: Although I have never owned cats due to my family having allergies, I have taken the time to get to know how cats function and live. I volunteered with CARMA cat shelter for over 1.5 years. My family still has multiple dogs and cats. I absolutely adore dogs and feel strongly about tuning in to who they are - if they want to play, it's on! If it's a shy guy or gal, I respect their space if and until they feel more comfortable. I facilitate healing workshops and I'm an artist with a variable schedule that I keep up-to-date on my Rover calendar.
