My skills include dog walking, pet sitting, animal handling, training, and administering a wide range of medications, including SubQ injections, intramuscular injections, liquid medications, and pills. I hold a degree in Zoology from San Diego State University, solidifying my academic foundation in animal behavior and health. However, my qualifications extend far beyond my degree. I’ve honed my expertise through hands-on roles in diverse, high-pressure environments such as an emergency animal hospital, an animal shelter, the San Diego Safari Park (Elephant Team), and a dog rehabilitation center. These experiences have equipped me with a deep understanding of animal care across various species and situations. In addition to my professional background, I have over 10 years of experience providing pet care services through animal care platforms, beginning in high school and continuing to today. This includes working with pets of all temperaments—from the shy and withdrawn to the high-energy and playful. My unique skill set enables me to address behavioral challenges such as separation anxiety, resource guarding, and fear-based aggression, as well as providing specialized care for senior pets, pets with dietary restrictions, and those with chronic illnesses.
