About: Since highschool, I've been watching family and friend's homes & pets. I have experience with all shapes and sizes of dogs, cats, fish and even some farm animals. I only ever had my own animals when I was a child so as someone who loves being around them, I am grateful for any experiences I get to do so 😊 I am a digital freelancer so all my work is done on my laptop. This allows me to determine my own schedule and provides flexibility in not only the hours I work but where in the world I put those hours in (around 3-4 hours daily, 4 days a week) I've always taken pride in leaving a housesit with the place looking exactly the same as you left it (if not better) and providing the animals with such a positive experience that when given the opportunity to watch them again, they are ecstatic to see me 😊

Happy to do some heavy lifting for pets with mobility challenges (up to 80lbs). I’m big on respecting animals’ boundaries, and know all the body language signs for dogs, cats, and horses. About: I grew up around dogs my whole life. My parents have two miniature schnauzers and one Doberman that I was the main caretaker for when I lived there. One of the schnauzers is in a diaper and the other is on a special diet for her kidneys. That being said I can help take care of dogs with special instructions for their care. I can also take care of larger dogs as my Doberman is my best friend. I help my family and my friends families, walk their dogs and I’m around dogs quite often. I try to nanny during the week so my schedule is pretty free, especially in the mornings and early afternoons. I love to go on walks in general both morning and evening so I can fit pet around most schedules. I am in an apartment but across the street there is a dog park that rarely gets used. It’s not super busy around me so going on walks is easy. I also don’t mind going to your home and will leave it mess free.

About: Hi! I'm Arvanh 😊 Animal companions have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, there was always some kind of animal around: dogs, cats, fish, parakeets, and even chickens, ducks, and cows when I spent time with family in Laos. Being around these companions just been a normal and joyful part of life for me. One of the biggest reasons I'm here on Rover is because of my dog, Avery. Avery was my best friend for many years and taught me so much about patience, loyalty, and unconditional love. Like most pet owners, I talked to her like she was a person, and planned parts of my day around making sure she was happy. Since losing her, I've realized how much I miss having furry kids in my life and how much I genuinely enjoy caring for them. Over the years, I've become the friend people call when they're heading out of town and need someone they trust to watch their fur babies. I've cared for: -energetic dogs who want to play nonstop, -cats that needed cuddle time and WALKS (wild, I know) -and nervous pets who just need a calm presence while their humans are away. When I care for someone's pet, I try to get to know their personality, routines, and preferences so I can give them the unique attention they deserve. That means: attention, sticking to their routine, and making sure you never have to wonder how they're doing. If you're away, I'll send photos and updates throughout the day because I know personally how comforting it is to see your pet happy and relaxed while you're gone. For house sitting, my goal is simple: keep your pet's life feeling as normal as possible (with some fun of course). We'll stick to feeding schedules, walks, playtime, cuddle sessions, and whatever routines help them feel comfortable. If needed, I'll also take care of the little things around the house so you can enjoy your trip without worrying. :) For drop-in visits, I'll make sure your pet gets the attention, exercise, food, water, and care they need during my visit. Whether they want to play fetch, chase a toy, get belly rubs, or even just have someone sit with them for a bit, I'm happy to meet them where they're at. For dog walks, I love letting dogs enjoy the walk at their pace. Some dogs want to power walk the whole neighborhood, while others are on a mission to sniff every tree in sight. For drop-in visits, I'll make sure your pet has fresh water, food, potty breaks or litter box care, exercise, playtime, and plenty of attention. I'll also keep an eye on their overall well-being and let you know if anything seems unusual. For dog walks, I focus on safety, exercise, and making sure your dog has an enjoyable experience. Some dogs want a brisk walk, while others prefer to stop and sniff every interesting thing they find. I enjoy both! No matter the service, you can expect regular photo updates and communication so you always know how your pet is doing while you're away.

About: What’s the most important thing all dog owners want to know before entrusting their dogs to a stranger? Well first of all I’m from Jersey. I’ll play with your dog, make sure they’re happy, take them on a walk, not lose them, and feed them only what you tell me to feed them. No human food, I promise. Unless of course that’s in your list of food to give them. Of course hydrate them as well. I know the do’s and don’ts of a dog’s diet since I have 2 of my own. I’ve also been fostering dogs on and off for the past 3 years. I am known to be reliable and responsible, so I can assure you that you can rest easy with leaving your dog(s) in my care. Or if you have a cat, I also get along super well with them since I also have 2 of my own! I work from home so I do have some flexibility or if you need eyes on your little one for long hours I will also be able to do that. I do have 2 cats so I have pet gates up to separate my cats from any dogs. The dogs get free roaming of the living room which tends to be enough for my two dogs plus any friends they’ve had over. Routine in my home is key. At your home, I’ll stick to your routine and respect your house rules. Whatever you require, it will be respected.
