About: Hello, animal parents! I’m Taylor, a 36-year-old long-time professional animal and human caretaker with great references. I’m available for drop-in visits for cats, dogs, horses and other hoofed loved ones, as well as reptiles, amphibians, fish, and any other little critters. Need me to visit your tarantula? I would love nothing more. :) My partner and I have two cats, three dogs, and pond fish. I have many years of experience with senior cats and pups and administering medications. Happy to do some heavy lifting for pets with mobility challenges (up to 80lbs). I’m big on respecting animals’ boundaries, and know all the body language signs for dogs, cats, and horses. Bonus: my own beloved fur children and I have also completed many positive reinforcement dog training courses (so I won’t undo the progress you’ve made with your puppy)! Double bonus: natural horsemanship classes. In my spare time, I like to read, hike, play games, spend time with my human and animal loved ones, and volunteer at the LGBT Center. By day, I am a caregiver (to humans), a pet-sitter, and a social work student. I’m available for early morning and evening animal visits during the week, and morning, midday, and evening visits on the weekends. At this time, I am only available for drop-in visits. I am careful, respectful, and kind. I treat the animals temporarily under my care as I would want someone to care for my own fur children. By hiring me, you’re getting the benefit of the experience of an eldest child of five who cared for her siblings (and pets) in her teens, then dogs, cats, and horses professionally in her early 20s, and elderly patients (and so many more animals) in her 30s.

“Helen was truly excellent. My cat immediately liked her and I know he enjoyed his time with her because she sent me so many (welcome) videos and pictures. She updated me not only whenever she was coming and going but when and how much he was eating so there is no doubt in my mind that she spent a great deal of time at my house with my cat despite having her own family, and that she spent lots of loving time with my fur baby. She did the laundry, replaced the tissues and detergent, which I didn’t even request, and she left the place cleaner than when I left. I feel much better planning trips knowing that I now have more than one dependable pet sitter. Highly recommend.”

About: Since highschool, I've been watching family and friend's homes & pets. I have experience with all shapes and sizes of dogs, cats, fish and even some farm animals. I only ever had my own animals when I was a child so as someone who loves being around them, I am grateful for any experiences I get to do so 😊 I am a digital freelancer so all my work is done on my laptop. About: I’ve grown up with animals my whole life. My first puppy was a Yorkie named Lola, who I got when I was 5 — she was my first love! Animals have always been one of the most meaningful parts of my life, and that hasn’t changed. I currently live with two cats and a dog, including my cat Kai, who is truly my pride and joy and the light of my life. I’d do absolutely anything for him, so I know firsthand what it’s like to love and care for your pet like they’re your child. About: I have had cats since I was a young girl and own two 10 year old cats now, adopted from rescue shelters. I love all animals! I will ensure they have clean food and water, play and cuddle time, clean litter, and lots of love. About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my whole life. Growing up in a ranch in Mexico we had all farm animals as well as 4 big guardian dogs and a family of farm cats. From the initial meet and greet, we could tell Brujo approved of her, and he took to her instantly. She’s cared for both dogs and cats, and you can just tell she really loves animals. I’m hoping I can help someone out during their busy day, and care for their furry friends and also to make my work days a lot brighter! At home my dog has a big yard that has a fence around it. Lots of room for activity! In a client’s home I know it’s important to maintain awareness of safety protocols, keeping door and windows closed if need be. Building trust with clients and their pets is also very important and I am always open to meeting with the dogs beforehand to help them feel more comfortable!
