Devoted pet lover, they’re my world
I’ve always been obsessed with dogs for as long as I can remember. I got my first dog when I was 6, and she became the love of my life. I cared for her until I was 19. She was my best friend, part of my daily routine, and went everywhere with me. Since then, I’ve had two rescue dogs, Nani (6) and Lupita (2), who are my whole world. My pets are truly family! They sleep with me, have birthday parties, and are treated with all the love and care they deserve. Because I know how hard it is to trust someone with your biggest treasure, I care for every pet as if they were my own. All my friends always leave their dogs with me when they travel because they know how much love and attention I give to every animal. I have experience walking, bathing, grooming, and playing with dogs of all ages. I’ve also trained my own dogs to follow simple commands like sitting, catching the ball, and peeing on command. I have experience caring for both puppies and senior dogs, my first dog had cancer, and I made sure her final years were full of love and comfort.

Barbara stayed in our home with our 14-year-old Labradoodle, Dolly, for five nights while we attended my mother’s funeral on the East Coast. I would absolutely hire her again. She is reliable, caring, thorough, loving, and kind. Dolly has pretty severe separation anxiety when left alone, and Barbara went above and beyond to keep her comfortable. She stayed by Dolly’s side the entire time and took her everywhere with her—three walks a day, out to lunch, to our community pool, the dog park, shopping, and more. She was very mindful of our concerns about both minimizing stress for a senior dog and avoiding any barking that could disturb neighbors. When we returned, our home was spotless and thoughtfully cared for. She even washed the sheets and emptied the dishwasher, which was so appreciated after a difficult trip. It was also incredibly helpful that Barbara came several days in advance to meet us and Dolly, so by the time we left, Dolly already felt comfortable with her. Throughout our time away, I felt completely confident that Dolly was in excellent hands. I also deeply appreciated her daily updates, videos, and thoughtful questions. I highly recommend Barbara for any pet care needs. She treated Dolly with genuine love and attention, and I’m so grateful for the care she provided during such an important and emotional time. Barbara did an amazing job taking care of my pets. She arrived on time, sent me cute photos of the pets, and did everything I asked to be done. I will definitely be booking her again in the future!
I’ve known Barbara since we were kids and I still remember her first dog Durumba. They were always together and it was the sweetest thing to see. Even back then she had so much love and patience with animals. We grew up side by side and I saw how much she cared for Durumba through every stage of her life. Barbara has always been this way, completely devoted to her pets and everyone who loves them. She’s like a sister to me and one of the few people I would trust with anything, especially my pets.
Barbara has been taking care of my cats for over two years whenever I travel. She’s super reliable and loving, and my cats adore her. I always come home to happy, well-cared-for pets. She’s the best neighbor and truly an animal lover.

Programa
I run my own business from home, so I have a super flexible schedule! I’m home most of the day, which means your pets will always have company, attention, and lots of love. I can easily adjust my routine for walks, drop-ins, or overnight care.

I don’t host pets in my home because I need to respect my older dog, Nani, she’s super sweet but takes time to get comfortable around new dogs. Instead, I offer house sitting and walks at the client’s home. This way, your pet can stay relaxed in their own space, following their routine and getting all the love and care they need.

I always follow whatever makes your dog happiest! If they love going to the park, we’ll go for a walk. If they enjoy playing fetch, we’ll have fun with the ball. If they prefer to relax and get pets, I’ll give them all the cuddles they want. Some dogs love mental stimulation too, and I enjoy including that in our time together. I truly believe it’s important to respect each dog’s personality and energy level. I’ve had three dogs with completely different temperaments, so I always adapt to what makes each one feel loved and comfortable. Please share your dog’s favorite things, I’d love to spoil them!
