About Roxanne:

It is important when you leave your pet in someone’s care, you can relax and know they will be well taken care of. I started my licensed business because I myself have hired people to care for my own animals and had the same expectations. I am completely devoted to giving animals the best possible experience when they are under my supervision. I was involved with a rescue organization for over 10 years in the late 90's and have come across a huge array of circumstances in dealing with animals. Rest assured, I know what I am doing, I have excellent instincts, and I have a deep connection with animals.

Being a pet lover runs in my family. My grandmother was the owner and trainer of the chimpanzee in the Tarzan pictures back in the 50s. My Aunt Bernice and Uncle George were the MGM trainers for all the wildlife and domesticated animals used in all the films back in the 50s and 60s. As a child, I always felt lucky because my mother allowed me to follow my intuition and rescue every lizard, bird, frog, cat, and dog that I felt needed extra love and attention. It didn’t take me long to figure out that I have a passion for both rescuing and an innate ability to care for all types of animals, especially cats and dogs. I learned at a young age that I had a special connection with animals and as an adult, I was able to channel my passion into a career where I get to provide cats and dogs with love and special attention.

In addition to having cared for approximately 75 of my own pets over the last 36 years, I also spent 10 years volunteering for a rescue group called New Hope for Animals in Los Angeles. My experience there was incredibly rewarding and quite the education!

Please let me prove to you that your pets will be in the best hands!

I would welcome the opportunity to earn your trust and deliver you the best service in the industry.

**Why I love caring for dogs:

My first experience was when I was 1 year old, we had a German Shepard named "Rusty." My family has always had dogs as well as other animals. I come from a background of animals trainers & cannot think of a time that I was without a cat or dog! They are an intricate part of my life, always have been, & always will be!

*Thank you for reading my profile. ROVER customer Service will help you with any questions or assist you with any concerns that you may have.

PAWRIFFICVan Nuys, Valley Glen, CA

Hi! I'm Jennifer aka PAWRIFFIC! I love all dogs..big and small. I have a 14 year old standard poodle named Mona Lisa. My husband, 20 year old son, Jake and I live in a house in a great neighborhood in Valley Glen!

My PAWTASTIC days start like this..we wake up around 7am. All dogs are out in the backyard for their first poop/pee of the day:) Then it's time for breakfast. We chill for a little while after breakfast before going out for our first walk around the neighborhood. Nap time is next or time to watch Hulu & Netflix..we all have to agree on a show :) Free time/play time outside in the yard is next on our pawtastic agenda. My place is nice and cool and all dogs are allowed to nap on the couch or the carpeted floor or my communal cozy dog beds. Dinner time is between 5 & 6:00 and another walk shortly after. Our final romp in the yard is around 9ish. Then it's off to bed...and they are allowed to sleep in bed with my hubby and I!

I love organization and the dogs thrive on the structure I set up for them. I am a full time dog sitter and absolutely love what i do!! I will send photos and videos daily to let you see how much fun they are having.

If all this sounds good to you, let's set up a meet and greet!

I look forward to meeting you and your pup soon:)

About my yard

It's fabulous. Lots of space and an amazing covered area where anyone can chill in the shade.

My experience administering medication

Yes. I have not given shots but I am capable if shown how to do it.

Your baby safe & happy with us :-)Van Nuys, CA

I am home with the pups pretty much all day. I am a certified pet grief counselor (APLB/AAVSB). I also run #MissionWellington with our “TreatsForPups” pet philanthropic mission, bringing food and blankets to the homeless pups living out in the streets. I love dogs!!

Your dog will have indoor/outdoor access while fully supervised. My 5000sqf Zen Garden Backyard is fully secure with a 6ft wall. Very dog-friendly house (they can be on the couches if they want to) :)

I lost my two beloved boys to cancer in July '17 and in September '18. Wellington was my super sweet golden doodle. He taught me to love dogs and enjoying pooch dates & long hikes :) Handsome was my brave yellow lab and he taught me to be brave and to be in the moment, and that it's never too late to adopt...

As a pet grief counselor, I work out of my house a few hours a day, I'm home a lot, allowing me to give your fur baby the attention & presence he/she needs. We have lots of playtime in the Zen Garden for some added fun! Our pet heavenly garden is spacious (5000 square feet), bright and has a large safe and enclosed back garden area. Beautiful and comfortable with lots of room to sniff, run around and lounge & even chase a squirrel!

Overnight dog stays include lots of playtime and belly rubs at no extra charge :-) For everyone's safety, as I usually have a couple of other well mannered dogs from other families, I prefer dogs who are crate trained for the night if possible - again, just for everyone’s safety (as I can’t supervise them while I’m

asleep) :)

I’m happy to do a simple meet-n-greet in my home to get an idea of how your dog will do here. They can run & play in my backyard but it is landscaped....so if they have too much energy and they tend to dig holes or shred plants, then my garden would not be the best environment for them.

We think it's fun to socialize, have doggie dates and visitors. Happy and affectionate, I feel that other doodle / golden / lab types will be happiest here, as I prefer happy & mellow dogs. That said, I love them all and I've got enough energy for sweet puppies too. As long your dog is not aggressive and will not chew the furniture (dogbeds are available), or destroy my landscaping, we will get along perfectly. Your dog must be on a flea medication, spayed/neutered, crate-trained and must be housebroken.

A comfortable, healthy and safe environment for them is our Nr. 1 priority, I believe in sustainability, no pesticides in our organic garden, and no chemicals on the wood floors. Also, I'm a non-smoker!! I love to play with them as much as they enjoy playing with one another and we love cuddles. There is attendance here with them 97% of the time. They are super happy here and we understand how important it is to not have to worry about how your baby is doing while you are away.

I'll be sure to text you pictures and daily updates of your dog's vacation through the Rover App =)

I am also happy to brush teeth, administer any daily meds, pills, eye creams/drops, even subcutaneous fluids if/as needed (there’s a $5/day nominal charge for any type of daily meds, it’ll be added to your booking), and respect any routines you let us know of. Having lost 2 dogs to cancer, I am well versed in patiently administering meds as needed. Looking forward to taking care of your fur baby soon!!

Echo Bark: A home away from home!Echo Park, Los Angeles, CA

Echo Bark provides the comfort and care of an experienced, loving home with a myriad of playtime activities and outdoorsy fun like hiking the local parks and exploring the neighborhood.

My name's Sylvia. My husband, Ethan, and I are creative freelancers who work mostly from home--he is a musician who records in Los Angeles and tours worldwide, while I'm a freelance writer and a private English tutor.

We rescued two stray pups--a sister and a brother, who we found huddled in the middle of a busy intersection--and since then, they have been part of our loving family. Prior to that, we grew up as children with family dogs and cats and my husband once had a few years experience under his belt as a professional dog walker in Malibu.

Our property is flanked by shady bamboo and brilliant bougainvilleas for those pups who enjoy basking in the dappled shade outdoors.

Among other amenities, we provide our pups filtered water and freshly grown wheat grass. Inside our dog resting room, they can enjoy vaulted ceilings with big windows for adequate ventilation, cool concrete floors and extra bedding/pillows for the overnighters (although it's advisable that you bring your own to introduce familiar smells.) Prior to their stay, we do require that the pups have their flea meds and shots up-to-date.

In addition, we take our dogs on neighborhood strolls. We regularly frequent the newly renovated Echo Park Lake. Hike the dog-friendly paths of Elysian Park and Solana Park, frequent the Historic public staircase--all within walking vicinity of our home.

HUGE Yard, AWESOME Home & FT Host!Rancho Park, Los Angeles, CA

I **AM** STILL BOOKING STAYS during the COVID-19 crisis. My dogs and I are 100% Stay At Home compliant.

ADDITIONAL COVID-details: I do NOT walk guest dogs; they and “use” only my backyard, so they are also safe from encountering others during their stay. I do NOT allow people in my home; we would hand-off a leash(Ed) in my yard - only your pup(s) would enter the house. I’m happy to give your dog a bath (for a small fee) and/or use dog-safe cleaning wipes with them before pickup. Please contact me with any questions or concerns BEFORE booking, so we can be sure all necessary precautions can be adequately accommodated! Stay safe & healthy!

IMPORTANT NOTE: I’m currently ONLY able to take SMALL breed dogs.

ADDITIONAL INFO: ALL my guest pups *must* be altered; have complete & up-to-date vaccinations; and be friendly with other dogs of *all* shapes & sizes. I typically have 3 dogs everyday (this includes my own 2 and another that usually comes for daycare 7 days a week). Guest dogs *must* be friendly with ALL dogs AND be able to warm-up quickly to MULTIPLE dogs at once. My environment is probably best described as a cross between a posh pet hotel & a private dog park, so at this time I *cannot* accommodate requests that require no other dogs be here!

NOW ONTO THE GOOD STUFF:

Owners tell me their dog(s) get excited as they turn down my street. Most of my pups run off to their favorite spot or toy (or both!) when they arrive, so you may want to prepare your "Goodbye!" at the door!

DAYCARE & BOARDING DETAILS:

I try to make the pet sitting/boarding experience as EASY as it can be for you and your pet(s). My schedule is very flexible and I am always available to keep your pup longer than you initially book; I do not have "black-out" dates that would leave you without a sitter in an emergency! I prefer AM drop-offs no earlier than 7:00 and PM pick-ups no later than 10:00 - although there is some “wiggle room!” **

**PLEASE NOTE**

DAYCARE RATES: “Regular” daycare covers an 8 hour period. Daycare stays over 8 hours and up to 12 hours and/or pickups/drop-offs outside of 7-10 AM and 4-7 PM will incur an extra $10 fee.

BOARDING RATES: Boarding covers a 24 hour period, so an additional fee for daycare may apply. A surcharge for drop-offs/pick-ups outside of the 7-10 AM and 4-7 PM window may also apply.

**I reserve the right to enforce what (if any) additional fees will be charged per stay. Since you APPROVE of and CONFIRM the total stay cost at the time of your request, and if/when any modifications to pricing are made, none of these charges should ever come as a surprise to you! I am *fully* transparent about total cost(s) BEFORE you are ever charged. **

I watch a variety of dog sizes, ages & energy levels - however they ALL get along swimmingly and are generally a very *chill* group. Since I have a mix of dogs, all my guests MUST be completely friendly with ALL other types of dogs. I have never had an issue with dogs in my pack getting along, as I conduct meet & greets to determine the “fit” of every member of the pack before a stay (even a daycare stay). More on meet & greets, below.

While I do watch a number of dogs, the house and yard are very spacious - so everyone can socialize, relax, play, nap, etc., when and where they like without being overwhelmed. Owners tell me their dogs come home “tuckered out, in a good way!” In other words, they’re relaxed and/or tired because they had a good stay, *not* because they were over-stimulused all day and pass out from nervous exhaustion (as often reported at commercial daycares).

PLEASE NOTE: WALKS ARE NOT INCLUDED!

I do NOT offer walks to my guest pups because they tend to tire themselves out running around the yard/house. If you would like me to walk your pet, I will send you a custom quote that includes an additional fee for EACH walk!

I have more daycare than boarding pups these days, but this fluctuates around holidays and popular events (e.g. Coachella). More often than not, daycare pups do not require me to feed them, but I’m happy to do so if needed. I feed everyone separately - not only to avoid the potential for an incident over food - but also to make sure everyone eats his/her own food.

Lots of folks have told me their dogs are allergic to chicken these days, so in general, IF I give the dogs treats (which is rare), I use Zuke’s Training snacks (3 calories a piece) in duck or rabbit flavor. I tend to avoid peanut butter, as well, as a few owners have told me a (human) member of their household has peanut allergies and would prefer the dogs not have access to it.

I provide the pack with 10s if not 100s of toys of all manner (balls, squeakers, crunchers, enrichment puzzles, etc.), as well as a number of deer antlers and water buffalo horns. NOTE: I do not have rawhide around and do my best not to have *any* food/treats around that are manufactured or prepared in China.

I also just added a doggy pool to the mix! It’s 6 feet wide by 12 inches deep (I only fill it to about 7 inches), so if you don’t want your dog to get wet...let me know in advance!

The door to the yard is open all day UNTIL I go to sleep (usually around midnight). Before I go to sleep, I let everyone out for one last potty break, then bring them inside to sleep in “my den.” If they sleep with you in bed, they’ll sleep with me in my bed; if they prefer a crate or the floor or a dog bed, then that’s where they’ll be. Sleeping “arrangements” are really sort of up to them - just like their ability to choose what they do/where they do it, during the day. They just have to give Francis & Bruce “first dibs” on their preferred sleep spots ^_^

DOG CRATES:

I have ~10 dog crates of various sizes and types (e.g. metal, plastic “pet taxi,” wicker, etc.). Occasionally a guest dog arrives with their own crate & other dogs lay it; when I notice this, I usually leave a few of my crates around, so they have their own “den” for nesting :)

MEET & GREETS:

I encourage MEET & GREETS but on *VERY* RARE occasions I can accept a guest pup without one (at my discretion). Even though I have a sizeable pack at times, I have *NEVER* had a situation where a dog(s) is/are injured. I credit this, in part, to my “screening process,” as my meet & greet standards are *VERY* specific (expect a lot of questions). Please understand that scheduling for meet & greets is a bit more nuanced than when you are officially booked, as I am entirely flexible for regular booking pickups & drop-offs.

AVAILABILITY FOR MEET & GREETS:

Generally, I can accommodate a meet & greet on Mondays (usually) and Wednesday through Friday at and after 7 PM. I *can* meet on Sat & Sun (timing on weekends is *usually* between 10-1 then again from 6-8).

Of course, you can & should opt for another sitter if the scheduling of *our* meet & greet seems inconvenient or falls too close to your stay dates for comfort. I take meet & greets very seriously & would rather conduct them to my standards, than confirm a booking without one & end up with a guest pup that isn’t a good fit!

ABOUT MY HOME:

My home is super clean and awesomely big - and my guest pups have complete run of it! I also have what is possibly the best back yard for dog boarding that I could ask for - sun, shade, benches, beds - it's definitely a dog "vacation destination!” Be advised, there are 2 small steps to the backyard (they are WIDE steps so all my older pups haven’t ever had an issue with them) AND the entire house has hardwood flooring, which some dogs may find too difficult (i.e. “slippery”) to manage comfortably!

The house itself is situated in a lovely, quiet neighborhood. I am often told the "vibe" is really "chill," and I strive to keep it that way! I have neighbors, but have *never* had a complaint of any kind - which is a testament to how well-behaved my pack really is!

BTW: I generally have space for you to park in my big, long drive-way for pickups and drop-offs - please feel free to do so. After 6 PM and ALL DAY on weekends, my street is permit only, so please remember to park in the drive or you may get a ticket!

ABOUT ME:

I've been pet sitting for about 18 years & enjoy having various "packs" around the house! Whether your pup(s) drop by my place for a play-date or an overnight, or whether you'd like me to walk & watch them at your place - I'm available practically 24/7! I am a FULL TIME sitter & send PHOTO/VIDEO updates at least once a day (and any time you may ask). Plus, I'm SUPER flexible about pickup and drop-off time!

I am female, 36 years old, and have a Master's degree & PhD in learning & behavior. I've worked with all types of animals from puzzle-solving pigeons to language trained chimps, so putting together a great little “pack” of dogs, again, has been a welcome treat!

VET TECH BACKGROUND:

I have lived & worked with animals my entire life, and have held various positions in veterinary clinics around LA. I am comfortable administering medication(s) & can even monitor animals post surgery. NOTE: Many of my guests are older/senior dogs with special needs, so I tend not to take younger puppies in the large(r) breed category (they often lack body awareness!); however, I evaluate each pup's “fit” and have made exceptions in the past!

MY HOUSEMATES:

I live with 1 other professional (1 male), who is equally pet-loving and happy to have your pet(s) join our pack! He has been briefed on my guest pups but is not personally responsible for them.

AVAILABILITY & CALENDAR:

Scheduling & completing a meet & greet does NOT mean I will be available on the dates you’ve requested! Too many times I’ve held spots for folks who fail to confirm a stay (for whatever reason: e.g., their trip is cancelled, a neighbor said they will step in, etc.) and I’m left with an open space in my calendar that could have been filled. You are only *officially* booked when you are charged for the stay & receive a confirmation from Rover! On a related note, please do NOT put all your eggs in MY basket. It’s YOUR responsibility to have a contingency plan should we not be able to complete a meet & greet or book a stay in time. In my 6 years of pet sitting with Dogvacay & Rover, this has not been an issue, as I am upfront with my booking policy (see above); but, please do what is best for you & your pups!

BRING ITEMS AT YOUR OWN RISK:

I am *not* responsible for lost or destroyed items (e.g. toys, beds, blankets, bowls, etc.) that arrive with your pup. I try my best to send guests back home with everything, but SOMETIMES a bowl or a toy gets left behind. I am happy to RETURN or REPLACE any items *I* may break (e.g. a glass bowl) but, I can't guarantee 100% that a beloved item will survive your pup's vacay! I have 100s of toys and 10s of bowls they can break & destroy with impunity - so it’s best just to bring your pup & their food and leave their other belongings at home :)

CARE FOR EXOTICS, TOO:

I can take care of other types of pets (birds, lizards, rodents, etc.), as I have personal experience with many exotic creatures. You're welcome to bring your exotics to my home (if they travel well), but unfortunately, I cannot board cats at my house! :(

SMALL DOG OASIS with huge backyard!Van Nuys, Sherman Oaks, CA

NEW PROTOCOLS REGARDING COVID-19: If you met me and my family prior to March 2020, you'd be greeted with a hug and invited into our home and walked through our doggy oasis. Due to the recent outbreak of coronavirus, we've unfortunately had to switch things up for your safety and ours. We are here and still available to you, but from 6ft away lol We've been bunkered down in our home since the first week of March and are taking self-isolation very seriously. This means we can not do any meet and greets at this time. I'm happy to Facetime, talk on the phone and/or chat through the app so that we both feel comfortable with the booking, but a normal tour or face to face chat isn't something I'm offering. Should you book, all pick ups and drop offs will be done at the end of the porch. I'm asking for a 5 minute warning so that I can be ready. Please do not come to my door. Don't be alarmed by my gloves and mask, I promise there's a smile under there. I'm generally very chatty and friendly, but this will have be a very quick hand off, on leash, of your pup to me. If there are any bags, beds or doggy essentials you've brought I ask you to leave it at the end of the porch and once you leave, I'll come out and grab it and wipe it down. This may sound a little nutty and overboard, but I've always taken safety very seriously. Other than that, it'll be business as usual over here. I'll love on and hug your dogs until their hearts are content, they'll run freely around my backyard, sunbathe, play and I'll keep you updated with pictures and videos every step of the way so you know how they're doing. I'm very communicative so feel free to reach out with any questions whatsoever. Thanks for your understanding during this crazy time and cheers that it'll all be over soon.

ABOUT US

My husband and I absolutely LOVE dogs. We've been caring for dogs for years and can't imagine what our home would be like without them. We welcome all breeds, so long as they're nonaggressive and can hang with our very friendly resident pups. To keep the playing field even, we only accept small dogs (15lbs and under). If you happen to have a small dog that's a tad stocky in the midsection lol and over 15lbs, feel free to reach out, but please be honest regarding size. I only watch small dogs and some of them have fears of bigger dogs, so regardless of how submissive your fur baby is, it just won't be in the cards for us to watch yours if he/she is more than 20lbs. I just want to be upfront and honest so neither of us wastes time.

We know that dogs aren't just pets, they're family. Our dogs have an all-access pass to the entire house and more toys than a dog could ever even hope to play with. We have a huge fenced in backyard with two doggy doors so your little one can come and go as he/she pleases. When we aren't playing fetch, they usually find a spot on my lap and get scratches :) I will treat your dog as I treat my own. There are no cages in our house. When your dog stays with us, they'll just become part of the family and be treated as so. They can also sleep wherever they want, which almost always means in our bedroom, under the covers or by the bedside in any of our dog beds. However, we can always accommodate any special rules you have. For example, if you have trained your dog to sleep in a crate for potty reasons, we are happy to accommodate.

We do have a pool, but that area is blocked off by a fence. However, if you're little one likes the pool, I'm more than happy to go for a swim with them in our heated saltwater pool.

Our home and backyard are professionally flea treated every quarter with an organic spray to make sure no fleas and/or bugs start breeding. I wash linens daily. Our dogs also receive flea treatment on the first of the month. Please make sure your dog is flea treated within 20 days of their stay, especially in the summer months. If your dog is flea treated, they will not get fleas.

Dogs should be in good health. We cannot accept any dogs that have vomited or had diarrhea in the last 48 hours.

Rates: Boarding covers a 24hr period. Friday morning to Sunday morning is 2 nights. If you drop off early morning Friday and pick up late night Sunday, you'll be charged for 2 nights plus a daycare. If the daycare exceeds 8 hours, you'll be charged for a full 3 days. Hope that makes sense. I do offer a grace period. <3

We'd love to keep all pick up and drop offs between 8AM-8PM. If you need to pick up or drop off outside those hours, please let us know. An additional charge of $5 will be added per after hour. No pick ups later than 10pm or before 6am.

You can expect pictures and videos until you tell me to stop. :) We can't wait to meet you and your fur-babies!

I should note that I do NOT take cats. I've received an influx of cat requests lately and I am very allergic to them. So I'm sorry, but I can not take them.

A Home Away from Home!Central City, Los Angeles, CA

Welcome to my profile! My name is Rebecca. I am a stay at home mom who loves all kinds of animals. I have been sitting through Rover now for about 6 years and have had such a wonderful time getting to know so many doggies and their owners. I am available during Covid19 please contact me if you need assistance!

My small cozy home is perfect for your pups. It has a large yard with a high fence, plenty of shady spots, and lots of room to play. There is a local park that's great for walking dogs. My daughter is a little dog whisper and all the pups love when she gets home from school! I do request that your dogs be good with children.

I offer discounted prices for multiple night stays and monthly work hour daycare. I am available for pickup and drop off services within the local vicinity. I send out photo's daily and a summary of your pup's day. For long stays your pup will always be returning home freshly bathed and brushed. I understand most dogs are on a special diet, and request that the owner provide enough food for the duration of the stay. I am available everyday starting at 6:30 am and almost every major holiday.

I look forward to hearing from you!

Why I love dog sitting

I've had dogs from the time I was a baby until my early 20's. As a kid I can't remember a time when I didn't have at least one dog following me around. To me dogs just give me a feeling of safety and love you can't get anywhere else.

About my yard

I have a large L shaped backyard part is K9 artificial turf and part is concrete. There are trees that provide shade also a large canopy area for additional shade. The entire yard is surrounded in 6 foot fence with a gate that is about 10 foot tall and locked on the inside. Outdoor cameras are installed as well.

My experience administering medication

As long as proper instructions are included I have no problem administering oral or injected medications.

I work from home and my teen daughter also helps. We love dogs and cats! I have been a sitter/host for Rover for almost 4 years !

My senior dog went over the Rainbow on Oct. 11, 2019 he was 15 years and 3 months. So I only have 1 dog with me, Fluffy. He is 6-7 years old. Gets along with other dogs. And I would love to have more company.

$20 off your first stay with me - just ask me about it! **NEW ROVER CLIENTS ONLY**. (If first time using Rover ) REPEAT Clients get a discount too! Just ask! Discounts for longer stays!

Pick Ups and Drop offs: I am flexible but please let me know in advance. Sometimes I offer Free Pick ups and Drop offs (depends on my schedule & your location)

Over 260+ plus CLIENTS!!! Over 130+ plus REPEAT CLIENTS !!! ( And they are VERIFIED Clients that have used my services )!! We do our best to keep your pet safe & happy!

A Professional Facility/Kennel with established experienced sitter/boarding charges about $60+ a day . An Experienced Sitter and sometimes NOT experienced ( without a facility charges $50 a day ).

SIZE: I ONLY take smaller dogs up to 25 pounds. Sorry I can no longer take larger dogs.

A Dog Owner & Animal Lover, my husband and I come from a family of dog owners and together have over 40 years experience. I have experience working in the Medical field as a Medical Assistant (Cardiology/Pediatrics/General Practice). By my Medical experience I am "hands on" and nurture your pet. I took Special Training just for Pets and am Certified! One of my dogs is a Rescue so I have a better understanding if your pet is also a rescue.

LOS ANGELES: LEASHED & SAFETY: Your pet will be in a VERY Safe area and in a Good area in Beverly Hills, we never have issues with Air Conditioning as some parts of Los Angeles & Hollywood sometimes has rolling blackouts and power outages. I have never seen ANY Coyotes in our neighborhood as some parts of Hollywood, West Hollywood or Homes near the Hollywood Hills have known to have Coyotes roam these neighborhoods. ( Just ask your friendly Police ). I walk the dogs 2 or 3 times a day ( leashed ), so they will get their daily exercise and lots of fun. I have toys strewn all over the living room. Our home is quiet & family oriented environment. Enclosed Back yard and my building has a front and back door that are closed and protected. Pleasant & comfortable. I accept small dogs and some slightly larger dogs up to 25 pds.

LAS VEGAS: I work with Clients that are also based in Las Vegas or are going to be in Vegas. As I have a home there, so check in with me on specific date requests.

HONOLULU: Yes, I also sit for neighbors, friends and clients in Honolulu. I am usually in Hawaii a month to 2 months. I am usually there during Christmas or Summer.

NO HIKING*****I give you a peace of mind. I am not reckless. Based on Personal experience, we will NOT take your dog "hiking". My brother in law had a German Shepard and use to take him hiking and unfortunately put his nose into some bushes and was bitten by a snake and did not make it ( here in Los Angeles ). Your dog will never be left alone ( unsupervised ) in my Yard. My husband use to live in Hollywood Hills and left his dog unsupervised , let him move freely through a doggy door to go into the gated yard whenever he needed to go potty, and unfortunately was TAKEN by a Coyote, sadly neighbors heard the crying and the Coyote ran off and our dog was never seen again! We keep our pets near and safe, indoors in our home or on a leash outside with us ( my daughter , my husband or myself ). Supervised all the time!!! This is California...realistically you have to keep your pet safe from Coyotes, Snakes and Mountain Lions! It does happen, and we protect ourselves by not being reckless.

Note: ****The over nights are periods of up to 24hrs from "your" drop off time to pick up. I have a 1 hour grace period for emergencies. Anything beyond will incur additional daycare fee . Latest "pick up"or "Drop off" is 9:30pm, you will pay extra boarding fee to pick up your pet in the morning ( next day ). Please note* There is a daycare fee is you do NOT pick up your dog in the 24 hour period, you will be asked to pay extra for daycare if it is a later pick up, ask me if you have any questions. We can work out a discount depending how long you are late, Just ask! Communication is key to everything! There is a extra fee for very early "drop off" ( 4am, 5am, 6am ), we can discuss.

FEEDING: Sometimes dogs will go on a hunger strike. I been sitting dogs for almost 4 years on Rover. And I noticed with some dogs, they will refuse to eat for a few days. Many reasons come into factor, new environment, I am a stranger to them, some may take awhile to warm up to the new situation/environment and they will not eat. Sometimes I will try to hand feed the dog. I will do my best to get them to eat but if the dog refuses to eat , I will not force them to eat. I can only be patient and will either leave the food out for them or I will refrigerate and try again. For advance purposes, please keep this in mind!!!

MEET & GREETS: I require written instructions by YOU or Please make sure all Information about the dog is current on Rover. Specific instructions on meds and a "Meet & Greet"for long stays. I do take last minute bookings and emergencies. As long as your dog is up to date and current with shots and gets along with other dogs and humans, I will waive a "Meet and Greet" A phone conversation is ok. "Meet and Greet" meetings : You would meet either myself or my husband. Sometimes my daughter will be there. My daughter is a Teen She loves all animals . "Meet and Greet" will be at a Neutral Environment - like in front of my building, on a side walk nearby, etc. Photos of my home are on my Profile Photos. We can make a appt. to visit since I do sit other dogs at different times, I do not want to create a Noisy "Meet and Greet". I prefer "Meet and Greets" outside of my home when my husband is not here, it's just safer for me and my Teen daughter (Thanks for your understanding in advance ). Your dog will be in a loving & caring environment with our family!

WHAT TO BRING: Please provide for your dogs necessities: Poop bags, Dog food, Snacks, Pee Pads, Crates, Beds ( optional ), Bowls and Instructions on special meds and care, please be specific. I charge $5 to $10 extra if there is no poop bags or dog food. Please ask.

FLEAS: Although we always stress a clean environment, a flea free can not be guaranteed as some dog owners do not always disclose properly. Suggestion, put them on treatment a few days before you drop off, or you can also give them a Pill (specifically to keep fleas from them ) these pills are available on Amazon or ask your Vet. We can work together to resolve future flea issues by preparing in advance.

My fees are subject to change. I keep my fees low because I know how difficult it is to find a Safe & affordable environment for your dog in Los Angeles. I am here to help keep your pet SAFE. I feed them, walk them, and keep them happy. If they have specific needs, I need them written down on paper ( by YOU ). I am a "Host", I am not a Vet, I am here to Help, take some stress away & give you piece of mind while you are away!

RAIN: If your pet has a raincoat, please provide as well as towels so I can wipe them down. I also suggest paying for a wash which is $40. After it rains, dogs tend to have more doggy smell to them. They are also dirty. Unless you dont mind picking them up in dirty or smelly just a suggestion.

COMMUNICATION & RESPECT: I would like that owners "check in" on photos and updates with me. Communication is important. I will be honest about your pet's issues, any anxiety or hunger strike maybe due to a new environment, some animals blend in better than others. Any stress maybe due to lack of social interaction with others dogs previously or if your pet is a rescue, they may still have some issues that is beyond my control. Please give me as much information about your pet so I understand their needs or if I can accept them.

3RD PARTY: I would prefer NOT to accept dogs that have been left with "others" prior to me "taking over" as a host, unless they are healthy and well taken care of. I do not take ill dogs or dogs in treatment of a illness. Please let me know in advance if a friend is dropping off or picking up. If your pet is picked up by a 3rd party I am no longer responsible for the condition of your pet after a 3rd party has picked them up.

PHOTOS: I send minimum 1-3 photos per day but I sometimes send a lot more. I send them usually very early in the morning if I take photos prior in evening or later at night after the day is almost over. None of my photos are in "real time", I send send them anytime during the day. I send them throughout the day or night.

NO PIT BULLS :***I do NOT accept aggressive dogs or Pit Bulls.

POTTY BREAKS: are 2 or 3 times a day depending on weather and my work at home.

2 breaks - Morning and Evening

3 breaks - Morning , Late afternoon and Evening.

HANDICAP DOGS: Dogs with a handicap is charged $37 to $40 a night boarding. (We can discuss during "Meet & Greet"). Please let me know "in advance" if your Pet has a handicap so I can properly assess if I can accept sitting them.

DAYCARE: ** I accept daycare for short term, but not for long term. Daycare is from 8am (earliest drop off , if earlier we can discuss) to 4pm ( 8 hours ) anything over 8 hours incur a daycare fee.

Happy 2020!

Looking forward to meeting you & your Pet!

Huge Yard, Keeping it CleanPlaya Vista, LOS ANGELES, CA

In these trying times, here to help with your pups getting there playtime while you work. All pups and leashes are wiped down with natural soapy cloths on drop off and pickup. My hands are always washed and every pup and leash will be wiped down again before pickup. We'll also keep the 6ft distance.

I work from home in digital media so I am here to look after your little ones with great care!

I specialize in small dogs and your precious pooch(es) will be staying in a CAGE FREE environment with high quality home made treats and daily playtime. The only requirement I have is that your precious pooch be up to date on shots, on flea control and have a great personality as they would be staying with my own pups.

I pamper my pooches and will do the same for yours. We love dogs!

PLEASE READ: Because I do daycare throughout the week and have limited spots, for overnight boarding, pickups after 24 hours from the time of drop off will incur a half day daycare rate.

I.E, if you drop off at 10 am and pickup after 10am the last day of the stay, half daycare rate of $25.00 will apply.

Also, for either daycare or overnight boarding, any pickups after 8:30pm will incur a late pickup fee ($15). Half day of daycare is 0-5 hours and full day of daycare is 5-12 hours. Thanks for understanding!

Please let me know if you have any questions and look forward to meeting you and your pups!

Maria and her family were excellent! I’ve taken too long to post a review...but, that’s not a comment on Maria’s service. Needed last minute care, and Maria was so hospitable, even giving photo and text updates. So appreciated it!

Sylvia and Ethan are fabulous! My dog is so excited every time I take him to them—he’s clearly so much happier here than at his last daycare. And they send me pics and videos of him while he’s playing, which I love!!! Can’t recommend them highly enough.
