“Very communicative. King took to her with no problem. The pictures I received were amazing. I can never capture great pics of king. I was able to do a meet n greet before the official stay which allowed me to be mentally at ease with leaving my fur baby for days. Will definitely book again.”

“Pia M. is the most caring, conscientious dog sitter you could possibly find. My soft-coated wheaten terrier, Gracie, is always so excited when I bring her to Pia's house, she can hardly believe her luck! During Gracie's last visit, when I was away without phone reception for over a week, Gracie got sick and started eating inedible stuff (a thing she does when she has a tummy ache). Pia treated my dog as if she was her own: without missing a beat, she called the vet, got instructions, prepared special food, and nursed my pup back to health. By the time I returned, Gracie was just fine again, and Pia gave me a full report. I am so grateful to Pia for her wonderful, loving attention to my pup's needs and for all the fun Gracie has with Pia and her own sweet dog on every visit!”
“Ryan is always great with my pup. He gets crazy excited when we pull up to Ryan’s house and he sees Ryan waiting for us, that confirms for me that Ryan is great to him. Then again, maybe I should say he’s awful to ensure he’s always available when I need him 🤣”

“Reliable, communicative, and a very kind soul. Thanks to Jeanne for providing me the peace of mind to travel while she took such great care of Romeo. I’ll be back!”

“Angela is an amazing at caring for our skittish doggie, and she is even flexible enough to accommodate drop ins for our kitties! Can't rave enough about how good she is. She takes time to get our fur babies acclimated to things, is very patient, provides daily updates and even a "Pawgress Report" for us when the booking is complete! Simply awesome! 😃”

“Helen was very professional and easy to work with on the Rover app. She was quick to respond to me and took amazing care of my 4 month old puppy. I would highly recommend her!”

“Alexis took great care of our puppy, highly recommend her. First time leaving our pup, so had a meet & greet in advance. During his stay, she sent me pics and videos everyday. Also asked before taking him out to a park. Great communication.”

“We couldn’t have asked for a better experience! We left our golden retriever with this wonderful family and their golden while we were out of town celebrating our son’s birthday. From the very beginning, their communication was excellent and they made us feel completely at ease. Our dog had the best time — it was her very first time staying with another golden retriever, and the two of them clearly had a blast together! Knowing she was in such loving, attentive hands allowed us to fully enjoy our family trip without worry. The updates and photos we received were such a treat. This family clearly adores dogs and provides genuine, caring, home-away-from-home care. We are already planning to book them again for our next trip. Highly, highly recommend!”

“Our dog Daisy did quite well with Vanessa. And we really appreciated her organizing a "meet and greet" prior to her stay, as this was the first time for Daisy to board anywhere ever. Overall. We are quite happy to have found a host for Daisy that we can trust. Thank you, Vanessa!”

“This was Oscar’s second stay with Zsolt and again we were so impressed with him! Lots of photo and video updates were so comforting to receive. Oscar gets so much love and attention when he stays with Zsolt and Pudding :) thank you again! Could not recommend him more as he is wonderful!”

“Kyle was very communicative and responsive. We met up a day or so before our scheduled boarding and did a meet and greet. Our dogs got along well and made the drop off much easier and stress-free. Our dog came back happy and well cared for. We look forward to using Kyle again in the future.”

“Kimberlee is amazing! She took such great care of our pup and sent daily check-ins and photos, which gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. We have a very high energy Aussie, and somehow she managed to tire her out, which is no easy feat! It was clear our dog was happy, well cared for, and getting plenty of attention. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with Kimberlee again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter.”

“This was our first time having Vinny stay with Jess & Max, and they were great! They were very kind during our meet & greet and very communicative during Vinny’s stay. They shared plenty of photos of Vinny, and we were at ease knowing that he was being taken care of.”

“Brittany was very responsive by text in setting up our stay and was available. Goldie seemed well cared for and only shared the house with her two small dogs so I’m sure got lots of attention.”

“Yiyu was extremely accommodating with our last minute booking. She was extremely communicative with sending updates and pictures. We felt PeeWee was in GREAT hands which allowed us to have a worry and stress free time away. We will definitely be booking with Yiyu again! Thank you for taking care of our baby!”

“Shane took amazing care of Riley! He looked so happy in every picture / video during his stay :) I couldn’t be happier about how well Riley was taken care of while I was away. Highly recommend!”

Nicole and Ted were absolutely amazing! I left Bisou my senior dog there who needed extra care and medications and she got so much love and special attention from them that she came home a changed dog. She even started playing with balls again. They are so trustworthy and kind. Bisou was sad to leave and had made lifelong friends!

Sean was very calm and sweet! Sage seemed very comfortable with him and he was very communicative with us, as this was our first time leaving her with anyone! Would definitely recommend, especially if you want your dog to have 1:1 time the whole time!! Thank you so much for taking great care of our girl!!

Amber was thoughtful, prompt, and flexible which is exactly what we were looking for! She was able to accommodate a last minute booking that changed again right before the date. She was so kind and thoughtful throughout the entire booking. She made us feel more at ease with her quick responses and constant updates. We’ll definitely be booking her again!

Raymond was absolutely wonderful in taking care of Rajah. He sent us daily pictures of Rajah and was prompt and organized in coordinating pickups and drop offs. We truly appreciate Rajah being in Raymond's caring hands and look forward to using his services again in the future!

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
