To ensure a safe and enjoyable stay for your pup, a Meet & Greet is required for all new clients prior to booking. Please inform me of any health issues, allergies, or special needs your dog may have. Your dog must be up to date on all vaccinations and written proof is required. Please ensure your dog is current on flea/tick treatments. Only house-trained dogs will be accepted. Inform us of any excessive barking, chewing, aggression, or incontinence issues. Your dog must be friendly with people and other dogs, as we have a 3-year-old dog. Your dog must have the ability to climb stairs. Let us know if your dog has specific dietary needs or restrictions (you must bring any foods required for special dietary needs). Provide information about your dog's exercise routine or energy level. Inform us if your dog is on any medications and provide clear instructions. Please provide emergency contact information and veterinarian details.
A typical day
Walking and sniffing aren't just activities for dogs; they're essential for stimulating their minds, fulfilling natural instincts, and promoting overall well-being. An early-morning walk, a midday adventure, and a pre-bedtime potty break are an essential part of every day. Playing fetch, belly rubs, and cozy cuddles fill the time between walks.

You can expect a warm, home away from home environment for your pet. I send morning and evening updates with texts and photos. Working from home allows me to provide all-day care. I have expertise in caring for senior dogs and administering oral medication. If you are traveling for an extended period, I welcome extended stays (*Additional charges may apply). Pia watched our recently-adopted senior rescue dog Merry and provided excellent, loving and thoughtful care. It was the first time that we’d left her overnight with anyone but I felt at ease knowing that Merry was with Pia and her family. She looked so comfortable and relaxed in every photo. Pia is a very kind, caring, and generous person. It was our first time boarding Peanut at a sitter’s place, and Pia made sure that we felt comfortable and at ease by sending frequent updates, photos and videos. She and her family took care of Peanut like their own dog and made sure she is having fun and enjoying her time. Pia even offered to feed Peanut the same home cooked meal she makes her own dog. I recommend Pia 100% and will definitely be coming back.
