Reliable, Attentive Dog Care
Hi, I’m Leisa. I provide both in-home dog sitting and care in my home for clients who want their dogs to feel comfortable, settled, and well cared for. While I’m new to Rover, I’ve been caring for dogs through my personal network for years, often on a repeat and referral basis. I’m experienced with larger breeds and very comfortable maintaining established routines, whether that’s walks, feeding schedules, or simply keeping things consistent so your dog feels at ease. I’m also comfortable administering medications when needed and have experience doing so with care and attention to detail. I offer sitting in your home, or boarding for small to medium dogs in mine. I’m happy to talk through which option would be the best fit based on your dog’s temperament and needs. I’m naturally attentive and detail-oriented, and I take that responsibility seriously whether I’m in someone else’s home or caring for a dog in mine. I follow instructions closely, keep spaces clean and organized, and make sure your dog receives the right balance of exercise, attention, and quiet time based on their individual needs. I also understand how important it is to feel confident while you’re away. I keep communication clear and consistent, with regular updates so you always know how things are going. I tend to have a calm presence, and dogs usually settle in quickly with me. I take the time to understand their temperament and adjust my approach so they feel secure and well cared for. If it feels like a fit, I’m always happy to meet for a quick meet and greet so you can feel completely comfortable before booking.

Leisa is an angel on earth! She took such loving care of my dog and gave me complete peace of mind while I was out of town. She is warm, reliable, friendly, and my dog adores her! He is also a 90 lb dog so good information to know that she is great with big dogs. Will definitely be booking with her again!
I cannot recommend Leisa F. highly enough! She was absolutely amazing with our five dogs! As you can imagine trusting someone with that many personalities and needs (medical issues included) is no small task! From day one, she was always incredibly responsible, reliable, and attentive. Our dogs genuinely love and adore her — they get excited every time they see her, which says everything about the care and kindness she shows them. She treats each dog like her own, making sure they are happy, safe, exercised, and well cared for while you’re away. You could not ask for a more dependable, loving, and trustworthy person to care for your fur-babies!!!
Leisa is a true dog lover who can’t pass a pup without stopping to say hello. She cared for my dog Duke for a weekend, and I felt completely at ease knowing he was in such loving hands. I highly recommend her for dog walking or daycare—your pet will be wonderfully cared for.
First things first, Leisa is a fantastic and highly responsible person. As far as dog walkers / dog sitters go she’s always my favorite. She spoils the dogs to a very high degree but always within dietary restrictions and takes extremely good care of them. My puppies almost enjoy spending time with her more than us. So if there ever was a problem that might be it. Lol. You can fully trust Leisa with your fur babies, she’s the best, hands down!

Schedule
I work from home, so pet care fits very naturally into my day. I’m able to be present, attentive, and flexible with walks, feeding, and general care throughout the day rather than needing to leave dogs alone for long periods. My schedule allows me to maintain a consistent routine, which I find helps dogs settle in more easily and feel comfortable. I’m also able to adjust based on each dog’s needs, whether that’s more activity, more downtime, or a bit of both.

For in-home sitting, I’m very respectful of your space and follow your routines closely so your dog experiences as little disruption as possible. If I’m caring for a dog in my home, I have a small outdoor area and live on a walk street with a steady flow of people and dogs passing by. Because of that, I’m mindful about supervision and typically find my home is best suited to dogs who are comfortable with that kind of environment. I’m also happy to talk through what setting would be the best fit for your dog, whether that’s staying in your home or mine.
