“I have a 63lb gentle dog who is cautious with new people. Aileen was referred to me by someone in my neighborhood. My first impressions of Aileen was her dedication to her existing clients, her professionalism and sweet nature toward my dog. She was also very accommodating and did/does her best to fit our needs. My dogs ultimate display of comfort and excitement to see someone is her happy growls which I’ve seen her do when Aileen arrives. As much as I love having Aileen my dog does too. I’ve hired Aileen many times now and wouldn’t hesitate to hire her again.”

“Jordan is wonderful! She’s reliable, thoughtful, super communicative, and so great with my dogs. I feel completely comfortable knowing they’re in her care and am so happy we found her! 😊”

“My baby Maggie just returned from her walk with Megan so happy!!! Megan clearly read the profile and followed our advice. We are very protective of our pet and so happy that we tried Megan. Fantastic!!”

About: What sets me apart is the personalized attention I give every pet. I’ve cared for a Mini Goldendoodle since puppyhood and have experience with breeds of different sizes and personalities, including German Shepherds and Cocker Spaniels. I understand that every dog has unique needs, and I focus on providing a safe, loving, and reliable experience while keeping pets happy, active, and comfortable. Pet care fits perfectly into my daily and weekly routine because I’m a very active person. I enjoy long walks, have trained for half marathons, and love spending time outdoors at places like the beach and parks. I’m fully available and flexible, so I can easily adjust my schedule around pet care needs. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or simply spending time with pets, I genuinely enjoy incorporating it into my day and staying active while caring for animals. Safety, trust, and comfort are my top priorities when caring for pets. I make sure they are well-fed, have fresh water, and are cared for throughout the day. I enjoy taking dogs on walks and potty breaks, keeping them active and hydrated, and spending time playing with them, like throwing the ball or engaging in interactive play. I also make sure their environment stays clean and comfortable, and I always take time for cuddles and attention so they feel safe and loved while their owners are away.
“Joanne was amazing! She was able to help us out last minute when our other walkers weren't available. She was thoughtful and took careful notes so she wouldn't miss any details. While we were away, she took great care of our little guy and sent us regular messages to keep us updated. We look forward to using Joanne again in the future. Thank you!”

“Lizette came over last minute- same day request and amazing communication. My dog is a chihuahua and barks but did well and i was happy that lizett handled her well and i came home to a happy pup.”

“Devon was available to walk Charlie on short notice, and we are so grateful for the help! She asked good questions in advance, arrived right on time, and sent a few photos. We look forward to working with her again!”

About: I have over 10 years of experience as a dedicated dog walker and pet sitter, I’ve built lasting bonds with pets and their people across Los Angeles. I truly treat every dog like my own💗 I pay close attention to each pet’s unique personality and needs. From high energy pups to senior dogs who like a slower pace, I tailor every walk and visit to make your pet feel comfortable, safe, and happy. Reliability, kindness, and communication are at the heart of how I care for your furry family members😊 My daily schedule is built around walks, drop ins, and overnight stays, which means I have the flexibility to give each pet the time and attention they deserve. I’m super reliable, quick to respond, and always ready to help when something last minute comes up. In a client’s home I’m respectful of their space and try to keep things as stress free and familiar as possible for their pets. I send regular updates and photos so you always know how your furry friends are doing🥰
About: Throughout my life I have owned cats and dogs. At the moment I only have one cat which is the least amount of pets I've had since I was around 5 years old, so I am craving more animals to care for! In terms of dog care, I work nights as a restaurants server so I have plenty of time during the day for walks, hikes, and play time with your pup! I live in an apartment with no yard so boarding dogs is limited to cat friendly smaller breeds and I will be most helpful for either drop in visits, or care in your home for your baby. Most of my experience is with larger breeds such as Bernese Mountain Dogs and more high maintenance breeds such as Huskies. However, I love to play and take care of my friends' French bulldogs and mini bully mix! Currently my family dog is a sweet yet strong personality Siberian Husky named Sasha who lives with my parents, and we love to go on hikes or long walks on the beach together whenever we can! My Husky Sasha is a very typical, sensitive husky who taught me a lot of patience and respecting of boundaries when it comes to dogs. Grooming her is a job only my brother and I seem to be able to take on adar requires a lot patience and listening to her cues and I can bring that patience and sensitivity to caring for your pet. Overall, I love caring for pets! It gives me so much joy and purpose and I would love to share that with your fur baby and be a part of their care village! Available upon scheduling 7 days a week, 7AM-4PM I currently only work nights so I am available upon scheduling during the day 7 days a week. I also have flexibility in these hours if later or earlier times may be needed. (Often when I hike I go early in the morning around 630, but that is flexible depending on your schedule). I love to run and hike, so i can bring your dog on some adventures that are sure to stretch their legs and provide some fun! My cat and I play at least 30 minutes a day and I love chasing him around the house to get his legs moving and his heart pumping!
“Shay is the best with our Remi especially as he gets older. He takes his time with him and is really sweet and gentle. He takes great pictures and gives great updates. We highly recommend him!!”

“Brooke has been incredibly consistent/punctual. My pup is always excited when Brooke comes over and is always exhausted after her walks. I absolutely would recommend for anybody that needs help!”

“Penelope is amazing! She takes great care of our dog, always makes sure he has everything he needs when she leaves, and takes him on nice long walks. She’s been super flexible with scheduling and sends great pictures too!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - El Segundo
We had such a great experience with Devon! She showed up right on time, was incredibly communicative, and took such great care of our Storm girl. We loved getting the updates and adorable photos from their walk—it was so reassuring to know Storm was happy and in great hands. Devon was so sweet, and Storm clearly loved her! We’ve already booked her again and would absolutely recommend her!

I am very satisfied with the service I received from Saffi. It is very comforting to know I can trust someone to help me with my pets when I’m out on vacation. Saffi sent me updates and photos and I knew my dog was very happy. I definitely would recommend her to anyone on the Rover app. Thank you Saffi!

Our dog, Tucky, is very particular about the people he warms up to, so we’re always cautious when leaving him with someone. He absolutely loved Adam! They had the best time together, and it was clear from the start that Tucky felt comfortable. Adam was incredibly communicative throughout the stay and sent lots of updates, photos, and messages, which gave us so much peace of mind. We came home to a happy pup and would not hesitate to book with Adam again. Highly recommend! 🐾

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
