About: My whole life I’ve been around animals. I used to own 2 dogs and would foster street animals. I would volunteer at an animal shelter to gain more proper animal care, I was a groomer to learn animal behavior, and back to college I’ve gained animal experience for all different sizes of animals. Not only this but I go to my friends house weekly to play with their dogs and play with them During this summer I am attending school but only have 2 classes from 8am-3pm. Afterward I am trying to gain any opportunities that will help me grow my resume and animal experience. I am a huge pet person and prefer to spend my time caring and giving attention to the pet. I am very cautious of my surroundings

About: I’ve taken care of my family dogs but my sister friend wanted us to dog sit at our house while they went away and she fell in love with us and so did we ! they had moved her with a different owner and when they would check in on her they saw she was scared and alone in the garage with no food then she reached out to us and we took her in and in less than a month she was a whole new dog she would love to cuddle with us in the bed she would let others pet her and she loves to play with other dogs her size only haha. I am working at my job from 8-5pm Monday - Friday. I will be available to working after work and on the weekends to help take and walk dogs. I have two fenced gate to keep my dog inside and safe. We park our cars inside so we are able to put our dogs in safely when we entered.

Bradley and Greta LOVE Jared. We hired him to give them a mid-day break/walk while we were unavailable and he gave them so much more than we were hoping for! He not only took them on a 30+ walk around Green Lake, but he also took them to the dog park to ensure our pups were nice and tired before returning them home. Even though it was only a walk, he gave updates about his arrival/departure times, what they were doing, and how the dogs were. Our dogs were super happy and exhausted when we returned, so we know they're looking forward to seeing Jared again. We plan to use Jared for both our dog walking and house sitting needs in the future. He's our favorite sitter so far!

Keys & Access: I prefer a lockbox, smart lock, or hidden-key arrangement so you can revoke access anytime. I do not retain keys between bookings unless specifically requested. About: Surrounded by animals my whole life. I got my first dog at 10 years old, a shih tzu. I have raised two golden retriever puppies who are two months apart and have trained them to the best of my ability. I have also experience caring for my senior pet who was taking medication. I am in my 2nd year of community college that I’m currently taking online. I am also unemployed so I’m free week days and weekends to care for your pet. I have my golden puppies on a strict schedule and follow it by feeding them on time and taking them out to use the bathroom everyday. And when it comes to taking care of your pet I will hold myself to the same standard and strictly follow the schedule I’m given.

About: I began dog sitting a couple of years ago for the families I babysat for. When they would go out of town I would bring my furry friends home with me. I’ve always enjoyed taking them to the nearby parks and beaches around me. When they stay with me they are taken care for and treated like family. I work full time but I’m free on the weekends and occasionally on Fridays. My availability is mainly on the weekends since I am home. When I bring them home with me I like to have their bed and food set up in my living room. I have a back yard where they can hang out as well. I like to keep them in their routine and walk them frequently so they’re not inside all day. I try to do the same even if they stay in their home. I will check in as often as I can and will take them on longer walks when they stay in their home since I am not there the whole day as I would be in my own home.

About: I’ve cared for dogs for most of my life and have had my own dog since I was 10 years old, which helped me become aware of the responsibility, consistency, and attention that pet care requires. Through daily routines like feeding, walking, bathing, playtime, and providing companionship, I’ve developed a strong understanding of dogs’ needs and behaviors. I also regularly help care for my sister’s dog multiple times a week, assisting with walks, feeding, supervision, and making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for. I’m dependable, patient, and genuinely enjoy creating a positive and loving environment for every pet in my care. Available most days after 11:00 AM and unavailable on Mondays. Prefer to accept bookings within the same area to provide reliable scheduling, consistent availability, and attentive care for each dog. I prioritize creating a safe, comfortable, and stress-free environment for every pet in my care. I make sure pets stay on their normal routines as much as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any specific instructions provided by the owner. I pay close attention to behavior, energy levels, and overall comfort to ensure pets feel secure and well cared for. I also use positive reinforcement by providing treats for good behavior and encouraging healthy habits during walks and visits. At the same time, I stay firm with boundaries and avoid rewarding unwanted behavior to help maintain consistency and structure. In a client’s home, I respect the space, maintain cleanliness, and provide attentive supervision while giving pets companionship and consistency. During walks and visits, I focus on safety by keeping pets secure, avoiding unsafe situations, and making sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, and care.

Wow. Wow. Wow. We love Anne. We needed steady early morning care to anchor my pup and my parents’ visiting pup while summertime comings and goings happened with the humans and massive work was being done inside the house as well as the yard. With Anne’s warm and skilled caregiving, the pups are starting each morning with a long walk and focused, routine care. The dogs are better bonded (they don’t totally dig each other) and whoever happens to be home feels supported. The dogs needed consistent care and routine. Anne has been such a stabilizing force for all of us. The dogs are thriving and we are moving through adventure and chaos with WAY LESS stress. What a gift! Thank you, Anne.

Su followed all of our instructions carefully, and what I appreciated most were the photo updates and regular check-ins while we were away. We are beyond happy with her service and truly can’t say enough great things about her. I was a little skeptical at first about trying the app, but I’m so glad I did. Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Lennox. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Lennox.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
