About: Last year we said goodbye to our thirty pound poodle mix after 17 amazing years. Our kids, ages 15, 12, 9, and 5 have had a dog in the home all their lives and while we aren't ready to get a new dog just yet we would love to take care of yours! My husband Liam, always had dogs in his family’s house growing up. We have a spacious home and fenced back yard in a quiet Hawthorne neighborhood close to LAX. It’s easy for us to let the dogs out back throughout the day and to go for frequent walks around the block. We used Rover for our own dog so we know how great it feels to know that your pup is being taken care of like family while you are away. Poodles, poodle mixes, and smaller dogs are preferred but there’s always exceptions. My husband Liam, and I both work from home so there's always an adult around to make sure the dogs are taking care of. We live in a quiet neighborhood that's easy to take the dogs on walks. And with our backyard we can let the dogs out for frequent bathroom breaks if needed. We have a completely fenced in back yard that our dog loved in his time here. Our older children are at school or activities for most of the day so the dogs will generally have the run of the house.

About: My daughter and I (she is 15) are in love with everything that is living especially animals! We have fostered and pet-sitted for many years. I work from home so I am home 90% of the time. My daughter is a bit of a Dog Whisperer and we do this because we love it! The Pawttage is near LAX so you could drop your sweetie on your way out of town and pick him/her up as soon as you land! The Pawttage has a large sized back yard, cozy and family atmosphere. We will take your pooch on as many walks as you desire. Your pooch will have play time in the yard and relax time with me in the evening. We have plenty of the time and can fully care for your vacationing pooch. If you feel he/she needs her toys that is great, if not we have some to lend out. The resident animals are a small 17 year old Lhasa Apso, who loves other dogs and still enjoys play time in the yard with guests. He himself has doggie playdates with his doggie friends! Ocean, a 6 year old Chorky, likes to sun bath and bark at the mail lady. Consider this happy animal friendly home as your pets home away from home! *NOTE: If you cannot pick up by 8pm, please consider it as an additional day.

Not only this but I go to my friends house weekly to play with their dogs and play with them During this summer I am attending school but only have 2 classes from 8am-3pm. Afterward I am trying to gain any opportunities that will help me grow my resume and animal experience. I am a huge pet person and prefer to spend my time caring and giving attention to the pet. He not only took them on a 30+ walk around Green Lake, but he also took them to the dog park to ensure our pups were nice and tired before returning them home. Even though it was only a walk, he gave updates about his arrival/departure times, what they were doing, and how the dogs were. Our dogs were super happy and exhausted when we returned, so we know they're looking forward to seeing Jared again. We plan to use Jared for both our dog walking and house sitting needs in the future. He's our favorite sitter so far!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all kind since 13 y/o. My sister is a vet and has shared ample advice on how to care for dogs of all sizes. I enjoy spending time outside in nature and walking/running. However I am not allowed to have dogs at my apartment so would love a park companion. I also work from home so it’s relatively easy for me to house sit. I am friendly with pets in your home and can easily crate or carry pets up to 50 lbs.
