“Shardae was amazing for our 2 dogs. She went above and beyond to make sure that they were comfortable and taken care of. She updated us each day with pictures and a summary of their mood/behavior for the day. It is very apparent that Shardae is a professional person and an animal lover. I look forward to booking with her again!”

“Angela is an amazing at caring for our skittish doggie, and she is even flexible enough to accommodate drop ins for our kitties! Can't rave enough about how good she is. She takes time to get our fur babies acclimated to things, is very patient, provides daily updates and even a "Pawgress Report" for us when the booking is complete! Simply awesome! 😃”

“Jeanne is the best! I feel very comfortable leaving Carmy with her for doggie day care and for boarding. He loves her yard and playing with her dogs and the other dogs in her care! She is extremely responsive, and flexible with drop off and pick up timing. She is a true animal lover and that shows in the loving care she gives!”

“Beverly was very accommodating and flexible. I have two small dogs who are anxious around other dogs and she made me feel comfortable that they wouldn’t feel stressed out. Thanks Beverly!”

“Jess & Max made Chumi feel right at home pretty quickly, she looked very happy in the photo updates which were very cute moments they shared. Chumi was comfortable and safe on her stay, it was a little vacation for her and I look forward to having her stay with Jedd & Max again!”

“Noreen was such a fantastic Rover! Couldn't have asked for a better sitter for my dog. She sent me lots of photos and updates and I could tell my dog, Saucey, was having a great time and very happy. I'll definitely book her again and highly recommend her!”

“Marilyn is so professional and reliable, we are so happy to have found her. She took our dogs last minute and we have definitely found our fit! She has a very large yard which includes a huge portion of it dedicated for dogs which is separated by a fence, just what our furry friends needed, not to mention the care and individual attention that she provided. I would definitely recommend her, and I am sure we will be back. Thanks much Marilyn!!”

“Emily and her dog Maple were great at taking care of my dog, Leo! He loved playing with Maple. She was also super accommodating on some scheduling changes for drop off and pickup times for boarding. Would definitely recommend using her for daycare and boarding.”

“I am thankful Sheila was available on short notice. She doesn’t live far from me. She was very patient with my shy and anxious Havanese boy. I’m happy he was allowed to roam free and sit on furniture just like at home. Although my dog may have been nervous to eat, Sheila did her best to accommodate Paxson. I liked that she had other dogs and a cat. I think this helps Paxson get comfortable and learn the ropes. I appreciate Sheila and her daughter Rhonika for taking great care of Paxson. I will look for her again on the future.”

“Shiyibin is a gem. We thank her for taking care of Koa and his (and my) special needs post the recent passing of his sister. We appreciate her and highly recommend.”

“Kyle was very communicative and responsive. We met up a day or so before our scheduled boarding and did a meet and greet. Our dogs got along well and made the drop off much easier and stress-free. Our dog came back happy and well cared for. We look forward to using Kyle again in the future.”

“Brittany and Nick were amazing with our pup and sent great pics and updates. We felt very comfortable having Penny stay with them and really appreciated the love and care that was provided.”

“I couldn’t ask for a better person to watch my dog while I was away. David was always updating me about everything and was always super responsive. He’s always very quick to respond. He was very patient as my dog got used to the new setting. I could tell from the pictures that my dog was very comfortable and happy, thanks to David. If you want the peace of mind while you’re away then you should definitely go with David. You won’t regret it! Highly recommend him.”

“This is my first time getting a dog sitter and Jenny really set the standard. She was very sweet to my dog. She even gave my dog Zoey a bandana that really added cuteness. I also wanna thank her for providing Zoey wet food coz i was not able to prepare a wet food in my dog’s bag. She really took good care of my dog. I appreciate that she sent pictures a lot and updating me. She is highly recommendable and I will be a repeat client of her in the future.”

“Our dog Clementine had an amazing time staying with Carmen and her dog Cathy for six nights. Carmen’s genuine love and attentiveness toward dogs really stood out—she cared for Clementine as if she were her own. I truly appreciated the daily updates, which gave me so much peace of mind knowing Clementine was happy and well cared for. Carmen even went the extra mile by introducing her to fun puzzles and healthy treats. It was clear Clementine felt right at home, and I’m sure she’d be more than happy to stay with Carmen again.”

About: Hi, I'm Yvette, a former teacher who now works from home and believes every pup is the best boy or girl! I specialize in hosting small to medium dogs (under 30 lbs). I'm also a proud pawrent to my sweet 7-year-old Havanese, Roco. I will care of your pup as if it were mine! I work from home and you can expect me to be home the majority of the day to care for you baby. Your pup will enjoy daily walks, multiple potty breaks, and attention throughout the day. I also have a private backyard area where dogs (under supervision) can relax, explore, or sunbathe. Safety is my top priority. “Lipika was the greatest. What piece of mind I had on my trip. This service is so worth it. The pictures and comment go a long way. Last time I asked a friend and I didn’t feel the care that Lipika had. Thank you for great people like her and I will book again for my upcoming trip in June and September!”

About: I’ve taken care of cats of all ages, from bottle feeding to seniors. I’m comfortable given medications, including oral and eye. I have experience with timid cats and feisty cats. I’m looking forward to spending some quality time with your fur babies!

“I’m so glad we found Esme! She was incredibly sweet and communicative right from the beginning. She took excellent care of our cat. She sent tons of pictures/videos and was super gracious with our last minute schedule change for pickup. Our cat, Wally, looked like he was having an amazing time and got so much attention! We’ll definitely use Esme again in the future the next time we need a Rover.”

“Liz was a great sitter for us and took wonderful care of Rocky and Her Babes while we were away. She was thoughtful, communicated any needs and gave them plenty of play time. She knew exactly how to handle the little menaces. 🖤”

About: I have been dog sitting and dog walking for friends and neighbors for about 15 years now. I have done dog sitting for various breeds including chihuahuas, corgis, german shepherds, aussies, poodles, etc. so I know how different their energy levels can be but can handle it all! Depending on what you are comfortable with, your dogs stay will include trips to the dog park, long walks around the neighborhood, playing with my own doggo, and of course being showered with love. I have my own Australian Shepherd who loves meeting new friends! Both of us would love to get the chance to spend some time with your doggo! I do work full time but I work earlier in the day so have afternoons / evenings free for drop-in’s, walks, etc for your doggo! I’ll treat your pupper the way I’d want a sitter to treat my baby and of course that includes sending tons of pics of your fur baby to you while I’m there :)

“Kristin is absolutely amazing - through these terrible fires while we were 2,000 miles away she went above and beyond to ensure the safety and comfort of our animals. Honestly deserves six stars.”

About: Hi everyone my name is Angie and I may be new to Rover but I am not new to loving and caring for precious pups. I currently don't have any dogs living with me but prior to July 2025 I had my own fur babies since 1992. I decided this would be a wonderful way for me to get some puppy love, bring peace of mind to traveling pet parents, and make some money while providing a loving service. I have taken care of many of my friends pups along the way. Saki, Sophie, Sushi, Bodhi, Lucy, and Honey. I also occasionally foster dogs to help my friend's rescue. I would love to meet and care for your babies. My home is a safe and loving space for pups to play and have their "stay-cation"!! I work from home and will be available to be with the pet pretty much all day. Consistent time outdoors will be provided weather permitting. I have a fenced yard with plenty of room to play or grab that nice patch of sunshine to nap in. I maintain a clean and calm environment.

“Liz did an excellent job following my litany of instructions for a week long house sitting. She had a 100% success rate with insulin injections on my diabetic cat. Very happy and will book her again for another vacation”

“This was our first time using Rover for pet sitting services and we were very pleased. Paula had relevant experience for one of our cats who needs medication, which was key in our selection of her as a sitter (FIP diagnosis and treatment). She organized her schedule to meet with us via video ahead of time, which we always appreciate, and she also came to our home for an in person walk-through of the house and security system. At the beginning of the sit, our cat who needed medication proved to be quite the little Houdini as far as hiding and avoiding her dose. Paula made us aware of the situation and between us, a helping hand from a friend, and a few FaceTime conversations (on Christmas Eve no less!), we were able to locate and medicate the little devil. We then came up with a new plan to avoid issues, but I really applaud Paula’s cool head and flexibility as it was definitely a challenge. Paula also communicated every day, and included pictures and videos of the kitty kids so I knew they were happy and well-fed. Our little trouble maker kitten also managed to cut her foot which Paula spotted and treated immediately. Paula was very reliable during the sit, including staying a bit later when our flight time changed, and when we arrived, everything was tidy and the other cats were clearly relaxed and happy. If I need a drop-in sitter again, I will definitely rebook her.”

About: I began dog sitting a couple of years ago for the families I babysat for. When they would go out of town I would bring my furry friends home with me. I’ve always enjoyed taking them to the nearby parks and beaches around me. When they stay with me they are taken care for and treated like family. I work full time but I’m free on the weekends and occasionally on Fridays. My availability is mainly on the weekends since I am home. When I bring them home with me I like to have their bed and food set up in my living room. I have a back yard where they can hang out as well. I like to keep them in their routine and walk them frequently so they’re not inside all day. I try to do the same even if they stay in their home. I will check in as often as I can and will take them on longer walks when they stay in their home since I am not there the whole day as I would be in my own home.
About: Surrounded by animals my whole life. I got my first dog at 10 years old, a shih tzu. I have raised two golden retriever puppies who are two months apart and have trained them to the best of my ability. I have also experience caring for my senior pet who was taking medication. I am in my 2nd year of community college that I’m currently taking online. I am also unemployed so I’m free week days and weekends to care for your pet. I have my golden puppies on a strict schedule and follow it by feeding them on time and taking them out to use the bathroom everyday. And when it comes to taking care of your pet I will hold myself to the same standard and strictly follow the schedule I’m given.

About: I have had cats since I was 3 but I’ve had 2 cats I can call my own for the last 6 years. I’ve also helped out with fostering cats and have been able to find 5 cats their forever home 🤍. I get that they like to set boundaries and will let you know when it’s time to give them attention.

“Shardae was really a pro in taking care of our precious Tasha! There’s a magic on her that even my dog is so much attached to me and my husband she just went straight to Shardae without looking on us. She feels like it’s going to be great day even without us. When we pick her up I know she had a fantastic day because she just sit quietly in the car and nap. So calm and happy baby. Thank you Shardae! You’ll be our go to when we go back to LA area.”

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and can’t imagine a day without them! I grew up with a loving family dog, which taught me the importance of patience, care, and understanding a pup’s unique personality. Now, as a young adult, I have my own sweet dog who is almost 2 years old. I know firsthand what it takes to keep them happy, safe, and well cared for. Whether it’s playtime, walks, or snuggles, I treat every dog like my own, making sure they feel loved and comfortable while you’re away! I work from home Monday through Friday, which means I’m available throughout the day to care for your pup. From playtime to outdoor walks, I’ll be there to keep them happy, active, and comfortable whenever they need me! Whether it’s playtime, potty breaks, or just some extra belly rubs, I’m always nearby to meet their needs. I also live in a safe, pet-friendly residential area with plenty of sidewalks and green spaces, making walks both enjoyable and secure. Your dog’s safety and happiness are my top priorities, and I’ll treat them like family while they’re in my care! My dog is also crate trained, potty trained and gentle.
“Marilyn showed us the area where our dog would be while in her care. She was sweet and excited to meet Kona. We’re extremely grateful that she was able to care for our pup at such unconventional hours! Thank you for your patience and excellent communication!”

“Leslie has helped me so much by taking care of Jupiter! Very responsive, flexible on time, and most importantly took the time to make sure that my dog feels safe, comfortable, and loved in a big environment while I’m at work. I’m a repeating, and happy customer that will highly recommend Leslie!”

About: Last year we said goodbye to our thirty pound poodle mix after 17 amazing years. Our kids, ages 15, 12, 9, and 5 have had a dog in the home all their lives and while we aren't ready to get a new dog just yet we would love to take care of yours! My husband Liam, always had dogs in his family’s house growing up. We have a spacious home and fenced back yard in a quiet Hawthorne neighborhood close to LAX. It’s easy for us to let the dogs out back throughout the day and to go for frequent walks around the block. We used Rover for our own dog so we know how great it feels to know that your pup is being taken care of like family while you are away. Poodles, poodle mixes, and smaller dogs are preferred but there’s always exceptions. My husband Liam, and I both work from home so there's always an adult around to make sure the dogs are taking care of. We live in a quiet neighborhood that's easy to take the dogs on walks. And with our backyard we can let the dogs out for frequent bathroom breaks if needed. We have a completely fenced in back yard that our dog loved in his time here. Our older children are at school or activities for most of the day so the dogs will generally have the run of the house.
“Nicole took great care of our puppy. We felt completely comfortable leaving our dog in her care, and it was clear our puppy felt comfortable with her too. We had such peace of mind knowing our dog was with Nicole and would absolutely recommend her.”

“I had a fantastic experience with Ashley and Tasha! Their communication was excellent—they were quick to respond and super flexible with scheduling. Their dog, Chase, was an amazing playmate for Sierra, and it was clear she had a great time during her stay. I felt completely at ease leaving Sierra in their care and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter.”

“Noreen was great with my pup calypso. She was super tired when she got home. I was so happy she slept through the whole night! She ensured calypso got lots of play time and cuddles.”

“Eve and Vincent were fantastic. We needed urgent help after learning at the last minute that we could no longer bring our dog to a day we had planned with friends. Eve and Vincent were able to take care of him on very short notice, and they were wonderful throughout. They were very engaged, sent regular updates and photos, and clearly gave him a lot of attention and care. I could tell afterward that my dog had been happy and well looked after. We are very grateful and would definitely ask their help again in the future.”

About: I’ve been caring for friends’ and family’s pets for years, and it’s become one of my favorite things to do. I’m the person everyone calls when they need someone they truly trust and the biggest compliment I get is that their pets don’t want to go home when vacation ends! I’ve cared for all kinds of personalities, from energetic pups who love outdoor time to cozy cuddle-bugs who just want companionship and a soft place to snooze. I’m attentive, patient, and always prioritize keeping pets happy, relaxed, and loved while their families are away. I also live very close to LAX which is convenient if you need to drop your dog while you’re away. I also have a large fenced in backyard that dogs absolutely love. I work from home part-time, so caring for pets blends perfectly into my daily life. I love having furry company during the day and can give frequent attention — whether that's walks, play breaks, or extra cuddle sessions. Your pet won’t be left waiting; they’ll be part of my daily routine and treated like family. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I provide a secure, pet-friendly environment with constant supervision and a fully fenced backyard for safe outdoor time. I take care to follow your pet’s routine and needs closely, and I treat every animal with the same level of attention and respect as I do my own. You can feel confident knowing your pet is in a safe, caring, and trustworthy home.
“Leo had an amazing time with Ashley and John's family! It was Leo's first time with a dogsitter and they were so patient. He made a friend with their kind dog and got a long walk too! Would definitely recommend!”

“Kyle was wonderful from start to finish! He took his time to speak to us about his past experiences and how he sets up his home to properly care for the dogs Kyle was prompt at every pick up in the mornings and set us several photos during Kona’s stay with him. Thank you, Kyle!!”

“Bradley and Greta LOVE Jared. We hired him to give them a mid-day break/walk while we were unavailable and he gave them so much more than we were hoping for! He not only took them on a 30+ walk around Green Lake, but he also took them to the dog park to ensure our pups were nice and tired before returning them home. Even though it was only a walk, he gave updates about his arrival/departure times, what they were doing, and how the dogs were. Our dogs were super happy and exhausted when we returned, so we know they're looking forward to seeing Jared again. We plan to use Jared for both our dog walking and house sitting needs in the future. He's our favorite sitter so far!”

I believe consistency is important, so I work to keep their normal routine as stress-free and familiar as possible while you’re away. My goal is to provide dependable, loving care so both you and your pet feel comfortable and at ease.

About: I’ve cared for dogs for most of my life and have had my own dog since I was 10 years old, which helped me become aware of the responsibility, consistency, and attention that pet care requires. Through daily routines like feeding, walking, bathing, playtime, and providing companionship, I’ve developed a strong understanding of dogs’ needs and behaviors. I also regularly help care for my sister’s dog multiple times a week, assisting with walks, feeding, supervision, and making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for. I’m dependable, patient, and genuinely enjoy creating a positive and loving environment for every pet in my care. Available most days after 11:00 AM and unavailable on Mondays. Prefer to accept bookings within the same area to provide reliable scheduling, consistent availability, and attentive care for each dog. I prioritize creating a safe, comfortable, and stress-free environment for every pet in my care. I make sure pets stay on their normal routines as much as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any specific instructions provided by the owner. I pay close attention to behavior, energy levels, and overall comfort to ensure pets feel secure and well cared for. I also use positive reinforcement by providing treats for good behavior and encouraging healthy habits during walks and visits. At the same time, I stay firm with boundaries and avoid rewarding unwanted behavior to help maintain consistency and structure. In a client’s home, I respect the space, maintain cleanliness, and provide attentive supervision while giving pets companionship and consistency. During walks and visits, I focus on safety by keeping pets secure, avoiding unsafe situations, and making sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, and care.
About: I have 3 dogs and 2 cats of my own, each one of them are rescues and required a lot of time and patience. I’m experienced in dog trading as well as administering medication. It helps me stay active as well as helps gain more experience with animals. I work from home so it helps me get my daily vitamin d . I’ve personally crate trained my dogs, it’s helped me monitor them while I’m not home. I like to take them on long walks and have play dates to get their energy out as well as stimulate their mind.
“Kate is fantastic! She's walked our pup twice now, and we hope to start hiring her regularly! She is super sweet, obviously fantastic with dogs, asked all the right questions, sends cute recaps of her walks with our pup, and is communicative and responsive. Definitely recommend!”

About: I've had a lifelong connection with dogs, growing up surrounded by them and learning early on the deep bond we share with our canine companions. My love for their wellbeing has only grown over the years, inspiring me to dedicate time to working with rescue organizations and fostering dogs in need. Through these experiences, I’ve developed a strong understanding of canine behavior, care, and rehabilitation. I’m also the proud owner of my dog, Charlie, who continues to teach me unconditional love, loyalty, and joy every day. Caring for dogs isn't just a passion, it’s a meaningful part of my life. I’m available for dog sitting, walking, and boarding Monday through Sunday. Working from home during these days allows me to offer flexible, attentive, and loving care for your dogs. I prioritize safety and trust when caring for pets, whether in my home or the client’s. I provide a calm, clean, and secure environment, with a small yard available for safe play and enrichment. By maintaining clear communication with pet owners, I ensure each dog’s routines and preferences are respected, so they receive personalized, attentive care in a comfortable and secure setting.

About: My love for dogs started young. From caring for a senior Shih Tzu to raising an energetic pit bull and now owning a Lab-Dachshund mix myself, I've handled dogs of all sizes, energy levels, and ages. That experience shapes how I treat every dog I walk, with the same attention, reliability, and safety-first mindset I give my own. Expect photo updates and one very happy, tired pup at the end! I am available for walks every day, Monday through Sunday, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. I have a flexible schedule and can often accommodate same-day walk requests. For dog sitting: I live within a block from a large park. I am in a very walk friendly neighborhood. In my apartment building is a pet park. Your pooch will have play time in the yard and relax time with me in the evening. We have plenty of the time and can fully care for your vacationing pooch. If you feel he/she needs her toys that is great, if not we have some to lend out. The resident animals are a small 17 year old Lhasa Apso, who loves other dogs and still enjoys play time in the yard with guests. He himself has doggie playdates with his doggie friends! Ocean, a 6 year old Chorky, likes to sun bath and bark at the mail lady. Consider this happy animal friendly home as your pets home away from home! *NOTE: If you cannot pick up by 8pm, please consider it as an additional day.
About: Let’s book a vacation for your pets! Whether the sun is shining and we go on multiple walks a day, or it’s raining and we play some puzzle games indoors, your pets are always engaged and taken care of with me. I spent some time in college studying positive reinforcement and training animals. I’ve got years of experience not only with my own animals (which has included 7 different species) but constantly being the pet sitter for friends and family. I’ve worked professionally in the pet sitting service as well. I even trained rats in college! I work a very flexible, part-time job that allows me to schedule working hours around your pet needs. I have my own dog who loves one on one time with other dogs, but she is also crate trained if your loved animal needs to be alone and have all my attention! I care for pets by treating each one like they are my own. I give constant attention, hugs, play, and am comfortable keeping an eye on more than one at a time. When I’m not home, I do have a security camera in the bedroom so that I can check up on them at any time throughout the day.

“April & Nathan were beyond expectations! Such a wonderful couple who really understand all types of dogs. They are so attentive, so patient, and so loving as people and dog sitters. My pup shadow is a reactive dog and tested their patience a few times and they remained calm cool and collected throughout the stay. They are unmatched in my opinion and I would bring shadow back to them a million times over. Couldn’t recommend them more!”

“Christy and her family took good care of our baby. Our dog Kenobi loved theirs (Phoebe) too and even she was so patient with him. I’m so glad we booked Christy for our dog’s first overnight boarding experience. Christy didn’t even hesitate to hand-feed our Kenobi just to make sure he eats. We’ll book them again for sure! 🤗”

“Melanie is a star rover! We’ve been using Rover for our two dogs for the past four years and she’s hands-down the best one we’ve met. She’s communicative & sends updates on the dogs regularly: what they did, how much they walked, if there was anything concerning that we needed to know of, etc. She even takes our dogs on neighborhood walks & pack hikes which is so amazing. They always come back tired & happy :) You can tell she loves what she does & has a lot of experience with animals! Our dogs barely want to come home after staying with her, they love hanging out with her & her family!”

“Conor is the best sitter! This was our first time leaving Kj with someone else and we were super nervous but after only a few hours I knew he was in great hands. Conor sent us plenty of updates and pictures and made sure Kj had everything he needed. Plus he got to spend most of his time playing with Zoey. We will definitely use Conor again for future stays.”
