About: I've been caring for dogs since I was 10, looking after my own pets and neighbor's dog when they're out of town. I understand the importance of companionship and make it my mission to ensure your furry friends feel loved and never alone. Dogs have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Whether it be my own or a neighbor's, l've always gone above and beyond to ensure that the animal is well taken care of. I will make sure your dog gets the specific attention and care that they need, and they have an enjoyable experience. This work goes far beyond simply watching dogs, it’s about providing consistent, attentive, and trustworthy care to dogs who are an important part of your family. I take pride in being reliable, patient, and detail oriented, making sure each dog feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. What sets me apart is the level of care and attention I put into every visit. I treat every dog as if they were my own, pay close attention to their individual needs, and maintain clear, consistent communication with owners for peace of mind. Sparky is the reason behind it all. He showed me a love I can’t even fully put into words, loyal, pure, and unconditional. He wasn’t just my dog, he was my comfort, my routine, and a piece of my heart. Losing him was one of the hardest things I’ve ever gone through, and there are still moments I feel that emptiness so deeply. But at the same time, he gave my life so much meaning and showed me exactly the kind of care and love every dog deserves. Because of Sparky, I’m more patient, more understanding, and more intentional with every dog I care for. I know how much they mean to you, because I know what it feels like to love a dog with your whole heart. A part of him lives on in everything I do, in every walk, every cuddle, and every moment I spend making sure your babies feel safe and loved. I am a dedicated dog sitter with a flexible schedule and reliable transportation, allowing me to offer drop in appointments on any day that works best for you. “Bradley and Greta LOVE Jared. We hired him to give them a mid-day break/walk while we were unavailable and he gave them so much more than we were hoping for! He not only took them on a 30+ walk around Green Lake, but he also took them to the dog park to ensure our pups were nice and tired before returning them home. Even though it was only a walk, he gave updates about his arrival/departure times, what they were doing, and how the dogs were. Our dogs were super happy and exhausted when we returned, so we know they're looking forward to seeing Jared again. We plan to use Jared for both our dog walking and house sitting needs in the future. He's our favorite sitter so far!”

About: I've had dogs growing up, so I can tell when they're nervous or if something is wrong. I own a husky who is now 2, and loves walks and play time! She's also a cuddler, so cuddles will be provided! My poodle who is 7 years old is still full of energy, but, sometimes likes her privacy. So I have dogs of multiple personalities. I'm a full-time student and also a brand new mom. My fiancé works overnight so, there is no issue on who can watch my baby. I speak 2 languages, and I trying to receive my certificate in another. I speak: English, Spanish, and ASL (The language I'm trying to get my certificate in.) I hope to hear from you guys soon!

“Booked Gabrielle last min and she was quick and responsive! She was very sweet, took two (big dogs) on a solid walk and sent pics. She was easy to work with and communicated/replied quick! Will definitely book again!”

About: I love puppies and they love me! I have a calming energy that dogs gravitate toward & the love they show me, always brightens my day. I've never owned my own dog, but I've had so many puppy nieces & nephews that I've cared for throughout life. In my photos you'll see the day a random Husky(?) showed up to my door & we just hung out all day. I'm comfortable around dogs of all kinds. Looking forward to connecting. My time is quite flexible! I work from home as a full time creative entrepreneur. I’m up early & take daily walks (sometimes multiple a day). I live by great parks near Inglewood & can be active with a playful pup. I live on the ground level of my apartment building & have space for a crate or bed for the dog's comfort. We get great sunlight & normally keep doors open to create indoor/outdoor feel. Im also open to dog sitting in your home & am wonderful with following care instructions.
“Alyssa did such a great job with my pup merp! She took a last minute booking and gave me so much peace of mind that merp was in safe caring hands! I got so many pictures of merp! Highly recommend Alyssa!”

About: I have taken care of dogs of all sizes from Chihuahuas to Great Danes. I have experience with feeding, bathing, walking and giving medication. Most of all I am very patient and capable of calming pets. I started off with taking care of my family member's dogs and then for other clients. I enjoy walking and that makes it enjoyable for me to walk pets. I work part time on weekdays but I am generally very much available all day during the weekend. I can even stay overnight during weekends. I am very cautious when it comes to client’ homes, I always make sure everything is secure. I always check the locks before and after I leave. I check to see that pets have enough water and are settled before I leave. If I’m staying overnight I take time to cuddle and play with pets. I also update with photos and anecdotes of our day.

About: What sets me apart is honestly my genuine love for animals. It started when I was around 12 years old when I got my very first dog, and ever since then I completely fell in love with caring for animals. Over time, my family and I adopted more dogs. Friends and neighbors have also trusted me to personally care for and babysit their dogs over the years. Sometimes I’ll stop by throughout the day to check on their pups, feed them, play with them, and make sure they’re doing okay, while other times their dogs have stayed at my house for a few days or even a few weeks. Having so many pets has taught me a lot about patience, responsibility, and understanding different animal personalities and needs. I’ve also cared for many different kinds of animals growing up, including fish, hamsters, lizards, and birds, so I’ve learned a lot about caring for all types of pets. My own dogs have also had litters of puppies before, which taught me so much about caring for newborn puppies and younger dogs. Because of that, I’ve gained experience with dogs of all ages, from newborn puppies to senior dogs. I truly see animals as family, and I love making them feel safe, comfortable, loved, and cared for. Pet care fits really naturally into my routine because I already spend a lot of my time around animals and genuinely enjoy caring for them. I currently work part-time only on weekends, but my hours and availability are very flexible since I basically make my own schedule. That allows me to give pets lots of attention throughout the day, whether that’s walks, playtime, feeding, cuddles, or just keeping them company. When caring for pets, I always focus on making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. In my home, pets are supervised, cared for closely, and treated like family in a clean and calm environment. In a client’s home, I always follow their instructions carefully and try to keep their pet’s normal routine so they can feel relaxed and comfortable while their owners are away.

About: I’ve cared for family and friends’ pets for years, loving them like my own. I’ve welcomed many animals into my life and even helped find safe, happy homes for those in need. “I provide reliable, loving care with daily photo updates and flexible scheduling. I’m active, patient, and experienced with energetic and senior dogs. Your dog will get safe walks, playtime, and lots of attention. I have plenty of time, patience, and love to give to your fur baby and the attention they deserve and need having a flexible job means I have more than enough time to make time I can care for your pet exactly how you prefer. As someone who had a pet , I understand how stressful it can be to trust someone with your baby — I’m very cautious and protective with my own pets, so yours will be treated the same way.
About: What sets me apart is the level of care, patience, and attention I give every pet. I've cared for pets much larger than myself and am comfortable handling dogs of all sizes. I have experience giving medications, following detailed care instructions, and making sure each pet's individual needs are met. I'm also experienced with reactive dogs, as well as anxious dogs and cats. I understand the importance of staying calm, reading body language, and creating a safe, low-stress environment where pets can feel comfortable and secure. Communication is a priority for me, so I provide regular updates and photos to keep pet parents informed while they're away. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, loved, and well cared for, while giving owners peace of mind knowing their furry family member is in good hands. Pet care fits naturally into my routine. I am fully available during the summer months (June through August), which allows me to provide flexible scheduling for walks, drop-in visits, daycare, and overnight stays. During the school year, I work in a school-based setting, so I am available in the evenings and most weekends. I am also fully available during school holidays, including Thanksgiving and Christmas. I enjoy spending time with animals and make sure every pet receives attentive, reliable care, exercise, and affection. For the comfort and safety of pets, I primarily provide care in the client’s home. This helps pets stay in their familiar environment and reduces stress, especially for dogs that may be anxious or reactive. I do live in a back house where the property owners have three small dogs, so for safety and to ensure a calm environment, I prefer not to introduce new dogs into that space. I am open to cat boarding on a case-by-case basis. I also have a strictly indoor cat in my home who is well-adjusted and calm around other animals. I am available for overnight stays and in-home care, and I always prioritize each pet’s safety, comfort, and routine while following owner instructions closely.
About: I’ve started caring for others in addition to my own. I have experience caring for dogs with special needs, and of all different sizes and breeds. I am dependable, and I believe in clear communication and provide frequent updates to ensure that owners are completely comfortable knowing that their pets are safe and happy. I am currently doing self independent work so I set my own schedule where I can pet set anytime any day that I want to I will Always check fence gates before letting a dog outside. I will walk through the area the dog will stay in and check that all trash can lids are locked, no food is on the counters, and that any gates or crates set up are secure.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Westmont
We are so glad we came across Su! Before booking her services, we did a meet-and-greet, and Obi liked her from day one. Not only Obi, but all of our fur babies at home warmed up to her immediately. Su followed all of our instructions carefully, and what I appreciated most were the photo updates and regular check-ins while we were away. We are beyond happy with her service and truly can’t say enough great things about her. I was a little skeptical at first about trying the app, but I’m so glad I did. Obi absolutely fell in love with Su and already misses her. We definitely found our person, and we’re excited to book with her many more times in the future. Thank you so much, Suyoon!

Gabrielle was phenomenal. She was attentive to our highly energetic dog’s needs. She was very communicative and thorough with our dog, definitely giving us peace of mind while we were away on a trip. The updates and pictures she sent us of our dog Bruno showed how great of a time he had!

I am a repeat customer for Monique. She was very flexible with my schedule and she really paid extra attention to Pepper. She gave me updates on how she was doing that were straightforward and honest. This helped me to share some things that would continue to improve the time she spends with Pepper. I plan to use Monique again. She really cares.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
