About: What sets me apart is my hands-on, daily experience raising and caring for my own dogs through every stage of their lives. Having managed everything from strict medication schedules to comforting aging pets, I am highly attentive to senior care and changing health needs. I know how to read canine body language, respect boundaries, and provide a low-stress, comforting environment. Your pup will get the exact same dedicated, intuitive care I give my own family. Pet care fits perfectly into my week because my school and part-time job hours are highly flexible. Even though my work shift schedule changes daily, my part-time hours mean I have an abundance of free time throughout the week. Because my days are mostly clear, I can easily adapt to and strictly follow your pet's specific feeding, walking, and care routines without any hassle. I provide pet care exclusively within the client’s home because I believe keeping pets in their own familiar environment is the best way to reduce separation anxiety. My approach is centered on strictly maintaining your pup's established daily routine. During my stay, I follow your exact feeding schedules, walk routes, and potty break intervals. I treat your home with the utmost respect—keeping everything secure, clean, and exactly as I found it. You will receive regular photo updates and transparent communication so you can have complete peace of mind while you are away.
About: I have grown up with dogs, so I am more than aware that they are not only a pet but a family member. I have always raised my dogs and cats from infancy and cared for them through their senior years. My experience has taught me that every pet is different and should be cared for as such. It has also given me the basic knowledge of administering various kinds of medication. Pet care is simply another part of my routine. Having my pets, I know the importance of walks and playtime. In addition, I am accustomed to different breeds, from high-energy German Shepards to lethargic bulldogs. My availability will depend on my part-time work schedule; however, I am primarily available from late afternoon to evening. I care for pets based on their daily routine; every pet is different, so I'll always inquire about your pet's routine. In addition, I will always ask about your pet's age, allergies, medication, and, most importantly, if they are well-trained and socialized. I have no problem caring for a problematic dog so long as their behavior is discussed beforehand. I aim to have your pet well cared for and safe when you return.

“Ms. Patty is awesome as always! She's reliable and trustworthy. She always provides a detailed report card of her visits and plenty of pictures of our cats. Thank you Ms. Patty!”

About: I have extensive hands on experience caring for four pets: Mansa and Khan, both full of high energy; and Aekae, a recent diabetic rescue. I also raised Galaxi, my family’s dog who has strict medical needs and allergies. Because standard facilities often discriminate against big, high energy dogs, I am here to help close that disparity gap by providing expert handling where they are truly understood and welcomed.💙🐾 Caring for Galaxi and Aekae has given me deep experience with special and medical needs pets, including administering daily insulin injections on a strict schedule. Combined with raising high drive animals and my professional background in pathology/bachelor’s in Biology, I am fully equipped to handle multi pet routines, strict medical schedules, and attentive, high level care.💙🐾 My routine is built around structure and consistency. Managing daily timed insulin injections for Aekae and staying on top of the needs of two active 4 year old pets means time management is second nature to me. You can count on me to stick precisely to your dog’s established schedule for meals, walks, and medications. Safety is my top priority, whether caring for a single pup or a multi pet home. Raising and caring for my own high energy pets has made me patient, calm, and attuned to subtle shifts in body language and health. I provide a clean, secure, and structured environment tailored to your pet's needs. I also have stairs in my home. While my cat is dog friendly, he remains comfortably separated in his own room during bookings to ensure your dog feels completely relaxed and secure.

I enjoy staying active, so I’d love taking dogs on walks, playing with them, and making sure they get lots of attention and care. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and pet sitting during weekdays and weekends. I live in a pet-friendly apartment community with designated dog relief areas and plenty of walkable space nearby for regular walks and exercise. Citlalli was absolutely amazing! I accidentally booked my two drop-in visits for the wrong day, but she was so flexible, understanding, and generous about it. She took such great care of my dog and sent me the cutest pictures and he looked so happy and comfortable! 🥹 I really appreciated how kind and accommodating she was. I would definitely book with Citlalli again and highly recommend her! ❤️

Matt was amazing! He took great care of Chloe after we reached out with a last-minute request for a drop-in visit. He was quick to respond, reliable, and made the whole process so easy. We loved receiving picture updates, which gave us so much peace of mind knowing Chloe was happy and well cared for. We’re so grateful for his help and will definitely be using Matt again for any future dog sitting or drop-in services. Highly recommend!

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
You and your sitter can agree on a care schedule that fits your pet’s routine and the sitter’s availability. Pet Sitting can be booked as a one-time or recurring drop-in visit. If you need overnight care or dog walks, you may also be able to book House Sitting or Dog Walking through Rover with the same sitter, provided they offer those services.
Before booking, confirm:
- the timing, length, and frequency of visits;
- the care instructions the sitter should follow;
- which parts of your pet’s usual routine should be prioritized;
- how often you would like to receive messages, photos, or other updates.
Not every sitter offers the same services, availability, or booking options. Review their profile and discuss the care you need through Rover before booking each service.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .

A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
