I’m happy he was allowed to roam free and sit on furniture just like at home. Although my dog may have been nervous to eat, Sheila did her best to accommodate Paxson. I liked that she had other dogs and a cat. I think this helps Paxson get comfortable and learn the ropes. I appreciate Sheila and her daughter Rhonika for taking great care of Paxson. “This was my dog’s very first time being cared for by someone outside our family since we adopted him in January, so I wasn’t sure how he would do. He just turned one and has never been around other dogs before. He was understandably nervous and even showed some fear-based aggression at first. Janae handled the situation with patience and care — keeping the other dogs separate until our dog felt more comfortable. She gave him space, allowed him to relax at his own pace, and let him try gentle play when he seemed ready. Jane checked in with me after a few hours and said he was spending much of his time by her front door waiting for me, and I really appreciate how understanding and calm she was with him. Please set your drop off and pick up times within a one hour time frame. Be on time for drop offs and pick ups. Dogs should have a collar or harness on. Play time in my large backyard with music and toys. We do bubbles, water play for the select few who like water and lots of fetch for good exercise. I provide great pictures that can be cherished for years to come. My backyard is fully fenced.

From a young age I have always loved cats and was even the one feeding the strays around the neighborhood. About: What sets me apart is honestly my genuine love for animals. It started when I was around 12 years old when I got my very first dog, and ever since then I completely fell in love with caring for animals. Over time, my family and I adopted more dogs. Friends and neighbors have also trusted me to personally care for and babysit their dogs over the years. About: I’ve been dog sitting for years and kind of fell into it by becoming the go-to sitter for my best friend’s four big dogs—two shepherds, a pit mix, and a mastiff. I officially started on Rover in 2018, and since then I’ve gotten really comfortable with different sizes, ages, energy levels, and personalities. About: I've been caring for my dogs since I was just a child and have always felt a deep connection to animals. About: I have worked with animals since I was a little girl on my grandpas farm! I worked in dog boarding, dog grooming and did an internship through the SPCA. I also fostered cats for multiple years and have experience with medication, shots and different types of temperament. I have dealt with it all! I currently work part time at a bank so I have lots of availability especially on weekends. I usually work 4-6 hours during the day. I feel as though animals are more comfortable at their own house so I’d be more than happy to take them on long walks around the neighborhood or even play in the backyard.

“This was my dog’s very first time being cared for by someone outside our family since we adopted him in January, so I wasn’t sure how he would do. He just turned one and has never been around other dogs before. He was understandably nervous and even showed some fear-based aggression at first. Janae handled the situation with patience and care — keeping the other dogs separate until our dog felt more comfortable. She gave him space, allowed him to relax at his own pace, and let him try gentle play when he seemed ready.
