About: I’ve been a dog owner and caregiver to dogs for over 50 years. I am a nurturing and responsible person. I have experience with senior dog care as well as puppy care. I am a very active person who loves to walk and play with your furry friend. I’m a retired mother of 3 and have a very active lifestyle. I am flexible and available throughout the week. I also live close to LAX for easy drop off and pick ups. I am a nurturing and responsible person and I would love to walk and play with your pet. I have a home with a fenced in yard. I have room for them to play and be active. I also have space to your crate dog and always keep them safe. I am walking distance to many parks.
About: What sets me apart is my ability to quickly bond with pets while maintaining a strict, reliable routine. I have the high energy needed for puppy training and socialization, helping them learn basic commands while burning off their playful energy. Conversely, I have a gentle, patient touch for senior pet care, ensuring older companions receive the slow-paced walks, and extra comfort. I am highly observant and detail-oriented, meaning I am quick to notice if a pet’s behavior or appetite changes. My goal is to provide more than just a service; I provide peace of mind by treating every pet as if they were my own. Whether it’s following complex feeding schedules or providing specialized care for older dogs or energetic puppies, I am dedicated to keeping your furry friend safe, engaged, and well-loved while you are away. Pet care is my top priority, and I integrate it seamlessly into my daily routine. I am available seven days a week, morning, afternoon, and evening, to ensure your pets receive consistent, high-quality attention. Pet care is my primary focus, so I plan my entire week around your pet’s schedule. By offering visits twice daily, I ensure your pet stays happy, active, and well-fed, providing you with complete peace of mind while you are at work or away. When visiting your home, I prioritize safety above all else. I ensure all gates and doors are securely closed, follow your specific feeding and medication instructions precisely, and maintain a calm, stress-free environment for your pet. I treat your home and your furry family member with the utmost respect, care, and cleanliness at all times.
“Heather is my go to cat sitter and she’s so wonderful in making sure my cats are well taken care of when we’re gone. She’s responsive and adaptable as well. We’re so sad to be moving away since Heather won’t be our sitter anymore!”

“Julie was super great and very communicative! She let me know when she was on her way and all the updates and pictures! She asked all the right questions during the meet and greet so I had no worries when the drop-in visit came! Thank you so much for feeding and playing with Sadie today! :)”

About: Throughout my life I have owned cats and dogs. At the moment I only have one cat which is the least amount of pets I've had since I was around 5 years old, so I am craving more animals to care for! In terms of dog care, I work nights as a restaurants server so I have plenty of time during the day for walks, hikes, and play time with your pup! I live in an apartment with no yard so boarding dogs is limited to cat friendly smaller breeds and I will be most helpful for either drop in visits, or care in your home for your baby. Most of my experience is with larger breeds such as Bernese Mountain Dogs and more high maintenance breeds such as Huskies. However, I love to play and take care of my friends' French bulldogs and mini bully mix! Currently my family dog is a sweet yet strong personality Siberian Husky named Sasha who lives with my parents, and we love to go on hikes or long walks on the beach together whenever we can! My Husky Sasha is a very typical, sensitive husky who taught me a lot of patience and respecting of boundaries when it comes to dogs. Grooming her is a job only my brother and I seem to be able to take on adar requires a lot patience and listening to her cues and I can bring that patience and sensitivity to caring for your pet. Overall, I love caring for pets! It gives me so much joy and purpose and I would love to share that with your fur baby and be a part of their care village! Available upon scheduling 7 days a week, 7AM-4PM I currently only work nights so I am available upon scheduling during the day 7 days a week. I also have flexibility in these hours if later or earlier times may be needed. (Often when I hike I go early in the morning around 630, but that is flexible depending on your schedule). I love to run and hike, so i can bring your dog on some adventures that are sure to stretch their legs and provide some fun! My cat and I play at least 30 minutes a day and I love chasing him around the house to get his legs moving and his heart pumping!
About: Moving to LA meant leaving my family dogs back home. Missing my four-legged besties led me to the world of pet sitting. My experience ranges from caring for Golden Retrievers to Bengal cats. With love and respect at the forefront, I take care of every pet as if it is one of my own. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine since I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I’m able to plan my day around the pets in my care, whether that means sticking to specific feeding times, playtime, walks, or just being present for companionship. Because of this flexibility, I’m more than willing to adjust and mold my schedule to meet each owner’s specific needs and ensure their pet’s routine stays consistent and stress-free. I focus on creating a comfortable, stress-free experience by sticking closely to each pet’s normal routine. I follow all care instructions carefully so pets feel secure and at ease. In my home, I provide a clean, safe, and calm environment with plenty of attention, affection, and enrichment. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space and aim to keep everything consistent for the pet, which helps reduce anxiety while their owner is away. On top of that, I also pay close attention to each pet’s behavior and needs, making adjustments as needed and ensuring they’re happy and comfortable. Communication is important to me, so I provide regular updates and photos for peace of mind.
“Syke was great! Her communication upon booking, meeting the dogs, and through their care was always prompt. It was nice to leave our babies in good hands and you can tell by the dogs smiling faces they were very happy in Skye’s care. We will definitely book again!”

About: I grew up with animals my entire life and am very knowledgeable when it comes to taking care of dogs. I eventually want to own my own dog soon and this is a great practice for me to begin boarding and dog sitting. I have plenty of space in my 3 bedroom apartment to host more than 1 dog at a time. I have taken care of dogs for friends who have traveled for weeks at a time. I have a job that allows me to work from home when necessary and I also work at a dog-friendly office! I am very patient when getting to know a new animal and will do my best to make them feel at home and safe. Feel free to ask me anything! - Thank you :) I work from home so I have a flexible schedule. I do morning afternoon and evening walks when I board a pet in my home. I have a flexible schedule, secured apartment building with enclosed courtyard and great neighborhood to walk in. Come by for a meet and greet anytime!
“Rebecca was wonder with my two cats. She spent time playing and brushing them after they got fed and she was punctual, reliable, and very nice. She sent me lots of great pictures of my two cats as well. I would hire her again for sure. Thanks so much for your care!”

About: I sometimes travel for work and lacking a yard here in LA keeps me from having a pup of my own, but i've been fortunate enough to have house and dog sat for so many others! Friends, family and referrals. I also Foster through a few different organizations where dogs needed to be given medication, driven to appointments etc. so i'm definitely comfortable & capable of catering to your dogs needs! I live a pretty active lifestyle, running, yoga, surfing, you name it! I go for walks in the morning/ evening, have taken dogs to dog parks & dog beaches (if approved by owner, of course) I have a very flexible schedule so doing what is needed for the animal is no problem at all. I don't have any pets of my own, so if your pup is with me, they'll be receiving ALL of my love and attention. Need i say more ?
About: Hello, I’m Suzanne - you may have seen me in the last year working on another app doing lots of on demand walking. I maintain a 5 star rating for nearly 500 services completed. A very high percentage of those customers make me preferred, they’ve given me great honors that I really appreciate. I would have hoped to have gotten at least one customer here on Rover in the last year, but that’s not the case. I would like my pro/ repeat/ or regular customers to meet me here as the licensing, support, etc is all included on Rover, and Rover is really just a great support system for independent walkers. The reason for my 0 stars rating is due to no Rover requests at all. The one year, approx. 500 services completed is my most recent experience, but I’ve had a few dogs over the years and worked part time for a local pet sitting/ walking service back in 2017 as well. I’m really looking for regular customers - once or twice a week or more here, short to long walks, runs or whenever needed. I would love to be your preferred walker. I am not going to be tired out from your puppy/ hyper dog - I find that quite often the puppy will be tired when they come back! That goes for any other age of dog that seems to like running/ jogging. I find that a dog that likes running will get ~1.5 - 2 miles on a 30 min and ~3 miles on a 60 min. I can’t run all day, but maybe I could : ) Any how I hope this gives you a good idea of what I’m capable of delivering for your fur baby. Recent Developments: Rover is offering a dog training course and I am currently enrolled it. I will be able to offer dog training here on Rover soon. note to Owners that book with me: To be very honest with you - I walk your dog for the agreed upon time, but I always get there early. It is a rare instance that I’m running late. I come early not just to try and leave your home for the walk right on time, I do it in case there are issues in parking, entering, get the leash on, etc. If you would like to do a meet and greet first, please request. I look forward to meeting you and your pet! I work at home, so it’s quite easy to take breaks and pet sit/ walk easily during the day and evenings. My schedule is flexible, it will be easy to do last minute jobs as well. I frequently leave town on weekends, but sometimes I am home. I can care for your pet in your home. I can check if they have enough food and water available give them potty breaks, walks and runs as a part of the service. I can clean up any messes found where the dog is kept. I can also follow detailed instructions if you need everything to be done a certain way. I always operate in a careful manor being sure your pet is okay through everything I do. I can play with the dogs and cats indoors as well, give medications, feed and give the attention they need. I am careful in assessing the area and what’s going on outside or inside the house to be sure the pet is safe. I look at the pet being in my care as if it were someone’s child.
“Delaney was great with my cat! She was kind, respectful, helped so much, and gave a thoughtful update after each visit. If I need a cat sitter again I will definitely think of her!”

About: Hi My name is Kate, originally from New York but moved out to LA in November. Dogs have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Whether it be my own or a neighbor's , I've always gone above and beyond to ensure that the animal is well taken care of. I have experience walking both small and larger dogs (up to 120 pounds) as well as dogs that might be considered reactive, whether it be towards other dogs, people, cars, bikes, etc. As a pet owner who has had reactive dogs, I understand the difficulties at hand while also implementing "Crisis" Avoidance and Management on walks. As stated, I am a dog lover first and goes above a "job" for me. I will make sure your dog gets the specific attention and care that they need, and they have an enjoyable experience. I have a fairly flexible schedule, and a car, so I'm able to do drop in appointments on days that I'm not working or can fit it in. I personally have a fenced in yard , but will adhere to whatever the owner is comfortable with and importantly what is safest for the dog.

Yiyu did a great job with our two cats. They got a lot of brushing and I could tell from photos that they were very comfortable with her, didn’t hide, and kept their regular routines. They got treats and brushing on their usual spots and windowsills right away. Thanks for everything!

Caitlin was great from the start. She communicated well, sent photos so I knew everything was fine, and handled my two large (and energetic) Portuguese water dogs with total calm. She even took care of a little surprise they left her without missing a beat. Will definitely seek to book her again!

Danielle is incredibly kind, easy to communicate with, and genuinely cares about the dogs she works with. She’s also clearly very comfortable and experienced handling larger dogs. My 140 lb pup was happy and well exercised when I got home. I’d happily book with her again and highly recommend her!
