Whether your pet is playful, shy, senior, sensitive, or simply loves a quiet routine, I always take the time to help them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for at their own pace. You’ll receive thoughtful photo updates after every visit, so you can always see how your pet is doing and enjoy real peace of mind while you’re away. I know how important it is to feel connected to your pets when you’re traveling, and I always try to provide the kind of care and communication I would want for my own animals. I have 12+ years of hands-on experience caring for cats, dogs, kittens, senior pets, and small animals with many different personalities and needs. I’m especially experienced with shy, anxious, slow-to-warm-up, or sensitive pets, and I pay close attention to body language, behavior changes, appetite, energy levels, and comfort cues. My approach is gentle, patient, and low-stress. I carefully follow your pet’s normal routine — walks, feeding, medications, playtime, cuddle time, enrichment activities, or simply sitting quietly nearby so they feel safe and comfortable. I understand that every pet is different, and I always adjust my approach based on what helps them feel most secure. At home, I care for two 12-year-old rescue cats, so I’m very familiar with senior pet care, multi-pet households, and creating calm, pet-friendly spaces. For boarding pets who prefer extra privacy or need a quieter environment, I can also provide a separate private room setup. I also care for rabbits, birds, turtles, fish, and other small pets. No matter the species or personality, I treat every animal with patience, attentiveness, and genuine care.

Yiyu is great with our two cats. She spends a lot of time brushing them and caring for them, and she sends us a lot of photos. I can tell from the photos that they are very comfortable with her and behaving very normally, they are always relaxed and happy when we come home.

Yiyu did a great job with our two cats. They got a lot of brushing and I could tell from photos that they were very comfortable with her, didn’t hide, and kept their regular routines. They got treats and brushing on their usual spots and windowsills right away. Thanks for everything!

I couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter!! She was absolutely amazing with my puppy Malibu. She took her on so many walks, spent tons of time playing (fetch, sniffing games, all her favorites), and even brought her to the dog park and a café 🐾 She kept me updated the whole time and was super communicative, which gave me so much peace of mind. It’s clear she genuinely cares and goes above and beyond. 11/10 experience! I will definitely be booking with her again!! 💛

I have a very flexible daytime schedule and am available most mornings and early afternoons. I’m reliable, on time, and can accommodate weekends when needed.
