About: My approach with any animal is to use positive reinforcement and a lot of patience. I grew up with dogs, cats and various other animals. I was heavily into 4-H and adopted a wild burro, raised pigs and joined the dog training group with my shelter dog, a German Shepard Samoyed mix. Currently, we have two rescue dogs. Whenever we host our neighbor's dog, all the dogs have a blast and act like they are having a sleepover. In addition to caring for dogs, I also have experience with a diabetic cat that required two daily shots. My husband and I work from home so there is always someone around. We take the dogs out for frequent potty breaks throughout the day. We also live near Valley Park and the green belt which are perfect for longer walks. In addition to my husband, I have two teenage sons who will also be here to play with your pup. We currently have two welcoming adopted dogs, Koko, who is the older wiser pup bringing calm energy, and Mango, who very lovable and wants to be friends with every human and dog. At our condo, the dogs have access to two decks in the back, perfect for quiet naps in the sun, and one deck in the front overlooking all the action that passes by on the street. If your pup likes to play tug-of-war, Mango will happily play and share her toys.
“Nicholas was great with our Ollie! We had a good meet and greet. They have a wonderful yard for sniffing and a system of gates to keep your puppy safe. We felt good about leaving our Ollie with Nicholas and Cora because they were obviously experienced dog owners. He asked good questions to make sure he was prepared for making sure Ollie was as comfortable as possible. Nicholas was very communicative and gave us good updates on Ollie. I am fascinated and in awe of the beauty and grace of all creatures of this earth. I am in love with their ability to just live life in the present moment. And be part of a bigger cycle of life. I have always had a form of pet in my home, I enjoy there presence and company. I have been walking and taking care of pets since I was 12. I would never be paid for it because I genuinely enjoy to take care of any animal and/or pet. I have been walking my neighbors and close friends dogs for around 2 years now. Also taking care of new born kittens when abandoned in my back yard. I have also rescued a few stray kittens on the street. I showered them and removed most fleas and ticks that were infesting their bodies. Afterwards I would take them to my local rescue shelter. Afterwards while my neighbors would go out of town. I would have the honor to visit them, check on them, feed, groom, play, and walk with them. And I loved every second of it ! I am currently a part time student, and babysit a few times a week. However after 4pm I’m almost always free and have a bit of free time on my hands! I love pets, and walking/ caring for them is something I would love while also being payed. I am also usually available mornings on the weekends I care for animals by providing kindness, attention, and the basic needs for a pet to strive and be in complete happiness.
